On my most recent visit, however, our bill had increased by about 35%, including a $20 "infrequent grooming" fee. I understand businesses need to raise prices, but this fee caught me off guard because we bathe and brush our dog between appointments. When I dropped my dog off, I jokingly said, "Everything the same as last time... except the infrequent grooming fee." I intended it as lighthearted feedback, not a confrontation. Instead, the owner immediately responded by telling me I was welcome to go somewhere else. The conversation quickly became heated. I'll own my part in that. I wasn't perfect either. But what disappointed me most wasn't the fee itself; it was how quickly a simple comment was met with defensiveness rather than a conversation. As a repeat customer, I hoped my feedback would at least be heard. Ironically, I think there's an easy solution. Instead of adding an "infrequent grooming" surcharge, why not simply offer a loyalty discount to customers who come in more often? The end result is similar, but it feels like rewarding customers instead of penalizing them. To be fair, they do decent quality grooming, and I have no complaints about the care my dog received. Unfortunately, after this interaction, I was asked to take my business elsewhere. We've since found another groomer we're very happy with. I genuinely wish them well. My only advice is that customer feedback, even when you disagree with it, is worth listening to. UPDATE: Thank you for your response. If you were looking to come across as confrontational, argumentative, and defensive, well, then you nailed it.

She's incredibly personable and takes the time to ensure our dog feels comfortable, which means the world to us. Prior to Bo, Alana groomed our elderly pugs and was always so patient with their complex needs. What really sets Alana apart (aside from her love of her job) is her expertise in a wide variety of pet styles and cuts. She knows exactly how to make Bo look her best. We love collaborating with her to come up with new ideas and, as a family, we always look forward to seeing the results. Never disappointed!! We're moving soon, and one of the things we'll miss most is Alana's amazing service. Honestly, if we could take her with us, we would!

Shows up on time, does a GREAT job and charges what I feel is a very reasonable fee for someone coming to your house and caring for your pets. Alana has a fully self-contained grooming trailer - power, water, generator - the works. The inside is always clean and well maintained (well, TBH it's a little hairy once she finishes with my furballs)....and she is the consummate professional. Give PPS a try - you will become a repeat customer - just like I did. PS - quit doom-scrolling. Call Alana.

I scheduled the service with the owner over the phone who got me started on their booking platform. My female dog has a wash and go type of coat and she was booked for a sanitary trim. Our male dog has a thick coat and was scheduled for a full service treatment. Both came out looking their best thanks to Alexis. The entire process from beginning to end was smooth. The office followed up on our services after the session. You can just tell the team at Woofie's wants you to have a positive experience. This was our first time using a mobile grooming service. The mobile van was new, clean, and well stocked with supplies and treats. The dogs liked it and I think that is what really matters. I came across Woofies and from the first phone call to now (a year later) this place has been WONDERFUL. My first impression was they CARE. Caleb spoke to me on the phone for 30 minutes about all the questions I have and was empathetic regarding my anxiety about finding a new groomer. At the end of the call I booked an appointment and I'm so glad I did! Fast forward to almost a year later now that we've been using Woofies and they've always been incredibly accommodating, communicative and professional. We are so glad to have found kiwis grooming home! At the beginning we used Alexis who was phenomenal and kind but she moved so now we use Michelle and are SO thankful we have her as Kiwis groomer. Michelle pays close attention to detail and loves kiwi, you can tell she loves what she does. I recommend all my friends use Woofies! We don't like standard salons where you drop your pet off and pick up with how tiny kiwi is and she's used to mobile grooming so this was perfect for us! The convenience of them coming to your home and bringing our pet out to the van is PRICELESS.
