    Today is the 2nd time Rain has been groomed by Gail.. The energy @ Oceana Pet Sop was busy but calm.. Gail is patient & had realistic expectations ensuring Rain my 5 month old puppy had positive experiences tells me " she gets it". Rain came home happy, soft & smells so clean! Looking forward to a life long relationship with these two!

    Gayle is amazing. She's so nice. She is so great with dogs and she does an amazing job grooming.!!! I highly recommend her!!! 5 stars !!!

    Been taking our dogs here for over 10 years. Gayle is amazing and there isn't a better place to take your furry friends. Highly recommended

On my most recent visit, however, our bill had increased by about 35%, including a $20 "infrequent grooming" fee. I understand businesses need to raise prices, but this fee caught me off guard because we bathe and brush our dog between appointments. When I dropped my dog off, I jokingly said, "Everything the same as last time... except the infrequent grooming fee." I intended it as lighthearted feedback, not a confrontation. Instead, the owner immediately responded by telling me I was welcome to go somewhere else. The conversation quickly became heated. I'll own my part in that. I wasn't perfect either. But what disappointed me most wasn't the fee itself; it was how quickly a simple comment was met with defensiveness rather than a conversation. As a repeat customer, I hoped my feedback would at least be heard. Ironically, I think there's an easy solution. Instead of adding an "infrequent grooming" surcharge, why not simply offer a loyalty discount to customers who come in more often? The end result is similar, but it feels like rewarding customers instead of penalizing them. To be fair, they do decent quality grooming, and I have no complaints about the care my dog received. Unfortunately, after this interaction, I was asked to take my business elsewhere. We've since found another groomer we're very happy with. I genuinely wish them well. My only advice is that customer feedback, even when you disagree with it, is worth listening to. UPDATE: Thank you for your response. If you were looking to come across as confrontational, argumentative, and defensive, well, then you nailed it.

When you step inside, you are surrounded by all kinds of healthy natural treats, a wide array of dog food choices, and cute apparel for your pups! What really blew me away was how responsive Rob the groomer was. He met with me, discussed grooming options, and was transparent about pricing, which was super fair. When it came time to bring in my girls, he did an incredible job washing them, cutting their nails, brushing their teeth, and giving my labradoodle the exact cut I had wanted for her. I was impressed by Rob's friendliness and expertise. Jazzed by his amazing work, I set up a second grooming appointment. I knew I had to do it in advance, because Rob can get pretty booked up! About a week before bringing my pups in, my labradoodle had terrible diarrhea and made a mess of herself (and my place). I reached out to Rob, and he told me was totally inundated with appointments, but would fit her in just to bathe her. Later that day, I dropped off my very dirty and soiled labradoodle. When I came to pick her up, she was a vision! She was sparkly white and looked like she had a Brazilian blowout! The amount of compassion and level of attention he still managed to give her on a very crazy day brought tears to my eyes. Today was both my pups' appointment day. I got to meet the owner Andrew, and he is super engaging and passionate about his space. I was again completely dazzled by how clean and well cared for my dogs were. I am grateful to Andrew, Rob, and this place of business for being so fantastic! It is no wonder Top Dog was suggested repeatedly to me, and now I highly recommend them, too!

She was very patient with my dog and took the time to really clean him up. My dog has had traumatic experiences in the past with groomers so it was a big step for us to try it out again. The grooming itself was fairly quick compared to other places! For a full bath and haircut he was done exactly in 3 hours. The pricing is super reasonable as well which is awesome in itself.
