Great activity and reasonably priced. We had a ton of fun and the staff was excellent at helping you get great photos at each exhibit. Took two of us about 45 minutes to complete.

Someone mentioned the Museum of Ilusions (MOI) on local Reddit and I was intrigued. Looking over the website backed up the impression, so we hit up the MOI last weekend. The website estimates 45-60 minutes to see everything and take pics. We pushed it and took an hour. My son's favorite (and mine) was the Vortex Tunnel. The illusion of spinning sideways on the stationary walkway blew our minds. There are plenty of other perceptual tricks on display, as well. I don't use Instagram or anything Meta, but we took photos galore. It's easy to create wildly interesting memories of your date, your family, and/or just your selfie. Staff proved quite helpful with both tips on getting the best shot and taking pics of our group. Thank you! Pro tip: The website pushes buying timed tickets in advance or the more expensive all-day option. No need. We went on a Sunday and there were more open spots listed than would fit in there. The only legit downside was the price. We spent $85 for three people, two of whom were cheaper than the adult rate. That's almost $1.50/minute. This speaks to the likely intended audience--tourists. Locals don't go to the 16th Street Mall, amirite? Four stars for novelty on a one-time visit. We had a great time. I'll rate on that. Three stars for diminishing marginal returns if we went back.

It's okay! There are cool and trippy illusions. I would honestly go once. Awesome staff though! We went late so there wasn't any lines. 6/10 Kaleidoscopes

My group had fun at the Museum of Illusions! We enjoyed the interactive stations and mind-bending illusions. Staff were friendly, helpful, and available and willing to take photos for us. The only downside was that the whole thing took about an hour, which made the ticket price feel a little steep. Nonetheless, I think it was worth it for a one-time visit. Make sure to ask about discounts if you're a teacher!

I went with 2 adults and a teenager. We all had such a fun afternoon and laughed the whole time. It was busy, you have to wait for most illusions , but it's worth it. They have some staff at certain photo ops to take a group pic, they are very nice and helpful! We found parking in the lot directly above their business. I tho knew paid $7.00 for parking. It really was a fun thing to do, I highly recommend it!

If you are an adult but a kid at heart you MUST visit this museum. Kids have a blast here naturally because they love to play but as adults we don't play as often as we should. Here you can! I'm 48 and my date is 49 and I swear we ran around the place and did "all the things" like we were in high school. We couldn't get enough! We went back to repeat exhibits we had already done just because they were so much fun and the tour guides were great!!! They took all pics at all the right angles and had us looking right! If you are in the area do yourself a favor and "go play" you won't regret it.

It's all an illusion! Located Downtown, the Museum of illusions is a fun new attraction. The 16th St. parking garage has plenty of spots and it was only $7 and I stayed downtown for about 2 1/2 hours. If you've ever been to the selfie museum, it's kind of like that except illusions instead of fun backgrounds. It's a great place to take friends and young ones because the illusion of when you flip the picture or get the right angle on the camera is so cool! They have a lot of different sections so you can spread out and not feel like you're bumping into other people. Some attractions will have longer lines because they're more popular but that's OK. I think overall you would need about one hour and maybe a little longer if you have younger kids. Don't forget to ask about your free gift on the way out! We booked our tickets in advance online and it was so easy!

The Museum of Illusions had us in for a mind-bending experience. Good lord, this really warped with our senses, let me tell you. While it's not a large exhibit all or museum such as Meow Wolf Convergence Station for example, it makes up in different types of illusions that you capture yourself in photo if you can go with someone. Actually, going with someone to the museum is pivotal unless you can have one of the other visitors who are frequenting to take a picture of you -- selfies don't do justice with some of the exhibits. There's the a room of mirrors that can create a 1000 of you, and can be trippy if you close the door behind you. Just make sure to remember which mirror is the door. The subway car set that is positioned upside down is cool to hang on to one of the bars so that it looks like you are the one upside-down in a photo. There's a brick building set created on the floor with a mirror above that can make it look like through a camera that you're standing and walking on the building front wall. The Dodecahedron allows you to stare into infinity, which is cool for taking photos. The Head on the Platter allows you (if you can) to crawl into a square opening and stick your head through a hole in another space so it looks like your head is on a platter ready to be served for dinner. The biggest thrill from the illusions presented, which also knocked my balance and peripherals off its axis, was the spinning tunnel, which didn't move at all, but the rotating lighting and mirrors behind you as you attempted (in my case) to walk across the platform made it feel you were spinning upside down to where I felt my knees buckle and my body crush to the floor. If you don't suffer from motion sickness, you may find this fun and delightful. I found it mindbending to where it took hours for my body to re-acclimate. Was not a dull moment for sure.

Get ready for a mighty museum experience despite its small size! I had an amazing time at the museum! Every corner brought a new mind-blowing illusion, some of which I recognized from movies and magic shows. I only wish there were more exhibits to explore. It's definitely a fun and family-friendly destination. Don't miss the limited-item gift shop on your way out. Parking tip: Try to find street parking or use the nearby lot if driving in!

    Kara H.

Really enjoyed the museum! They do free entry for teachers with teacher ID, which I appreciated. It took about 45 minutes to an hour to wander through all the exhibits. We read and played with just about everything, except for some games at the end. We went on a Saturday around 10:30am and it wasn't too busy- I could see if it was crowded it might take longer to go through. I would recommend going with three or more people- two people to take part in the illusions, and someone else to take the photo. There are tons of great photo ops! The stand out illusion was the spinning tunnel- although the platform stayed still, it created an effect where you felt like you were going upside down as you crossed. It was fascinating, but dizzying for sure. Overall, I would recommend this museum for sure!

    Melanie T.

This is definitely a fun place to check out at least once. It can get crowded but everyone is really respectful of waiting and not jumping in your photos. They have staff around helping you take photos and giving you tips on how to pose. It's definitely small but a lot of fun if you make the most out of it. There are also illusion art throughout so make sure to spend some time looking at those. They have some trippy interactive things such as the spinning tunnel. There's a parking lot nearby. Definitely fun to take lots of photos for memories. It's a fun date night or place for families.

We loved the ambiance, feeling like we'd really discovered a gem off the beaten track, pun intended. By joining the club, it was a monthly excuse to plan a special night out to what became one of our favorite places for date night. It's been a couple of years now, but we had occassion to meet the owners, when we mistook their closing time for an hour later. The lights were still on, so we didn't realize our mistake, until they'd already invited us in to exchange our monthly growler with such warmth. Super nice people, reflecting the vibe we always felt on our other visits. The staff echoes that disposition, always friendly and knowledgeable. Though the winery isn't on-site, I've always been impressed with their tasting experience. I've now been a member for over 5 years, going in at least once a month, and they still suggest trying seasonal options and have broadened my palette... Though my ex and I have parted ways for a long while now and he moved away, he's kept our membership current, calling it my "alimony," and a nod to remembering the good times we had together. I recommend Bigsby's for all the good memories for all the folks, be it a lazy summer afternoon on the patio or a cozy evening in the lounge area with a glass of red when it's cold outside!

Then when he did acknowledge me and I stated I would sit at the bar, it took several minutes for the bartender to acknowledge me. The staff was busy speaking to each other and doing side work. Once I was acknowledged, things started getting a little better. When I arrived during breakfast/brunch, I was informed they were in the middle of a menu change, so my choices were limited. Breakfast items include bacon and burritos. I started off with a charcuterie board (though I had asked for a fromage board). This was not only because I wanted some tasty cheese, but I was trying to kill time until the lunch/dinner menu started. The board was a great board, two different meats, three cheeses, a loaf of bread, some nuts and jellies. But it was 40 dollars! I had a few small plates (which was still a lot of food). I had a melon and cucumber salad, which was a good palate cleanser. I also had the roasted king mushrooms, which were underwhelming with no seasoning, and they were a little chewy. The best thing was the wild boar meatballs, which were seasoned really well and in a savory, delicious marinara sauce. All the cocktails were fruity (but not sweet) and refreshing. I had one that was carrot based (Kiss my Carrot with tequila, cointreau, carrot, orange, and ginger), one that had pineapple flavor (paper boat with rum, falernum, aperol, lemon, pineapple), and the smoky smoke and flower (hibiscus mezcal, cointreau, pama, rose water). This spot is a winery, so they have a large wine list. They have handhelds like burgers and flatbreads. Starters like artichoke dip and bruschetta. Some of the current entrees, which might change, are hanger steak, chilean salmon, cauliflower steak. They had a gnocchi dish I was interested in, but it's already been removed from the menu. The restaurant is classy and just like a winery is expected to be. The food is pretty good. But the service was really subpar.

This was unnecessary because they have a big room with chairs, guitars on the wall, etc available in the back of the place that appeared to be setup for the jam. They can't/won't cut in half. Ok, whatever. I don't understand what the big deal is, they obviously posses knives... just cut them instead of saying "no". So stupid. 20ish Minutes after waiting, the person who took my order said it would be 30 minutes to make. Which was weird cause what was going on for the last 20 minutes? 30 minutes to wait is fine, if you don't waste the 20 mins prior resulting in about an hour wait. So, I declined as now we are talking an hour to get 20 simple breakfast burritos. I needed to get to work and I wasn't wanting to wait an entire hour and they just wasted 20 minutes of my time not prepping anything, so I decided not to go with the burritos. Someone came to refund my sale and then preceded to kind of scold me for not ordering in advance. He said something about for an order like 20 burritos they want 2 days heads up. GTF outta here. It's freaking burritos. You don't need 2 days to make 20 burritos. And here's the thing, I'm not here for a lecture because I attempted to give YOU business. And I won't be back, either. When you get a customer to purchase your goods, be happy. Provide them the goods. Make it as soon as you can. Don't say no for no reason. Don't make anyone feel bad for trying to give you business. But, no, the choice was to do nothing for almost a half hour, to refuse to run a knife through them as asked, and then lecture a customer for coming in to order 20 items. It's not like I asked for 100. What if 10 customers came in and each ordered 2? Can you do that? Do they get lectured, too, or...? See ya.

Fantastic flavors. Beautiful plating. If basing our review on the food alone--five stars. The Bad: Despite having been in their space for months by now, the ambiance was not there. The staff kept turning on and off the food heat lamps, which were so bright that the light level in the entire space vacillated between dark and sultry to too brightly light all night. The temperature was absolutely arctic. Multiple groups had to ask for their coats from coat check before one of the waitstaff said he looked at the heating. He made adjustments, which did increase the temperature of the room from arctic to chilly--but it remained unacceptably cold. Pacing of courses was oddly timed. The waitstaff couldn't seem to strike a good balance between casual and fine dining--it was a little awkward at times. The Bad: Despite placing our wine flight orders twice, with two different waitstaff, they forgot to give us our drinks until we asked. By then, we'd missed two of the pairings. They did offer to serve us the remaining pairings at no cost, which was a nice gesture. But, it's wild that something like this happened in a place with 16 seats and 4 waitstaff--they missed out on $400 in alcohol sales because of this error. The meal was explained to our group as a "ten course" experience. We only received nine courses: 1. The venison "hamburger" 2. Cappuccino 3. Roasted apple 4. Crudo/sashimi 5. Scallop 6. Lobster 7. Venison skewer 8. Duck leg 9. Dessert This feels like an egregious oversight. And, based on what we overheard from the table next to us--almost felt deliberately misleading. The wine pairing is plainly described in the menu as "five pairings." As dessert was brought out, the table next to us inquired about the remaining pairings, as they'd only received 4 pairings up to that point. The waitstaff tried blaming it on the fact that "dessert wine is polarizing" and "we over poured the other pairings," but those are weak excuses. If you're not going to offer the full 5 pairing flight as advertised, that needs to be communicated ahead of time. Overall: With a price point, including wine flight (had that worked out), per person of nearly $325--The Guest had too many substantial misses. While the food may be ready for prime time, the service is leagues behind.

The Guest, located inside The Regular, is a full dining experience rather than a traditional…read morerestaurant, and it's a strong addition to the Denver food scene. This is a timed, coursed dinner where the entire room sits and eats together, so arriving on time is essential. The format creates a restaurant wide dinner party feel, which sets the tone for the night. Everything feels intentional, from the pacing to the service to the design of the space. The menu changes often and is never repeated, which makes the experience feel special and creative rather than formulaic. Standout dishes for me included the duck doughnut, the wood ear French toast, the venison burger, and the leek cappuccino. The kanpachi crudo and scallop with tamarind were also beautifully balanced, and desserts like Cash's Apple and The Sphere were thoughtful finishes rather than an afterthought. One of the more memorable details was the menu book at the end of the night, featuring the chef's original sketches of the dishes. It's a small touch that really reinforces how personal and considered the experience is. If you're looking for a unique, chef driven tasting experience that feels cohesive and well executed, this is absolutely worth a reservation.
