Everything! It started a few years back when my brother told me about MegaMart in Vegas. I was doing a two month crop country road trip and was in Texas and heard about meow Wolf in Grapevine, which I went and was amazed. Since then I took my 91-year-old dad to.MegaMart. He enjoyed it. I'm currently on a road trip and I did the meow Wolf in Santa Fe Springs. Having done the Meow Wolf in Denver, I'm so looking forward to the opening in Los Angeles. Each experience is different, but I truly enjoyed the unusual amusing incredible fantasy of the Meow Wolf Denver. When I try to tell people what Meow Wolf is, it's impossible to describe except for fantasies in the artist's mind. You can literally spend many hours enjoying. Great for photography as well.

Those who know me know that it's on my bucket list to visit every single Meow Wolf location current and future. Since they started in New Mexico this art group has stolen my heart with all their amazing abstract art. It's almost endless the possibilities with a multiverse and I would love to see watch universe. That being said when I found myself in Denver, you know I had to check this one out. Let's start with the parking situation. There's no free parking. The parking is $15 per vehicle. A bit steep unfortunately there isn't access to alternative parking. It's located right next to the Broncos stadium between the highway ramps. Unless you wanna walk awhile you're better off coughing up the 15 bucks. I didn't realize it was one of their adult nights the day I had gone. The price for admission was $60. It is already paid for parking by the time I was at the box office so I shelled it out. They have 2 restaurants. One is more of a snack bar located on the first floor. The second flood has kind of a speakeasy vibe. Fair warning if you're not a fan of climbing stairs you may not enjoy the experience because there are several floors. They only allow the elevators to go down. Overall it was great to finally experience the Convergence station. Of course you know I have to go back especially after I discovered there were some spots I missed. Other than the parking situation and exuberant pricing it was still a good time!

Meow was indeed a unique yet confusing expereince. We visited over the holidays, my daughter wanted to see what the fuss was all about. I didnt know what to expect. She paid online, you cant pay in person. From the arrival to the leaving its was giving some witchy vibes, play time, mystical and alot of stimuation that hits you quickly. We walked in all these different rooms sober of course and we still thought it was way to much going on. Im assuming people wander thru this for as a group to fill a sense of high. If you go just be aware and do some research so your not suprised of all the weirdnes. There where a few nice art pieces, spots to sit and gather yourself. You will need it, Lol! Even my 30yr old daughter said it was a one and done kinda place.

I've now been to 4 different MeowWolf locations. Las Vegas, Denver, Grapevine, and Houston. I have the Portal Pass which is totally worth it. Each location is completely different and immersive. Denver so far is my favorite. Hoping to go to Santa Fe next and the new location in Los Angeles when it opens. The staff is usually very friendly and helpful. It's a one of a kind experience and best to go with loved ones or friends. You'll have a blast, especially if you enjoy art, beauty, and science. It feels like stepping into another dimension. Get the portal pass! There's always something new to discover.

Meow Wolf Denver's Convergence Station is one of the most unique museum experiences I've been to. It's a massive, immersive space where four surreal worlds collide, with hidden passages, interactive elements, and tons of detail everywhere you look. I loved solving the quests as I explored. It made the whole experience feel like a game. So much fun overall and easily one of the best museums I've visited.

I've always wanted to visit a Meow Wolf and I was so excited when a work trip to Denver came up! It was easy enough to get here by Uber. Cost at the door was about $43 pre tax for the standard ticket day-of. I arrived about 7:40PM on a Monday night and was able to get a ticket. You start by going up unto an elevator that takes you to the 4th floor (you can explore the 5th & 3rd). There's really no set path and you can wander -- everything connects and the point is to wander. I didn't realize until afterwards that you could buy the "boop" cards that unlock the story points. Since it was my first time and it was late at night during a work trip I just wanted to explore and wander. I spent about an hour and a half here just admiring all the artwork. This place is really, really cool. So large and immersive. Otherworldly. Loved the fairy type world in the middle and the rainbow ice castle most. There are so many fun interactive elements -- in one room you crawl on your knees and stick your head throw a hole to watch animatronic cows. There are lots of photo ops and crawl throughs and interactive moments. It's really fun and sparks your imagination and your childlike sense of wonder. I came late at night on a weeknight so there were other people but it wasn't too crowded. I could see how it might take longer and not be as calm and fun if you visited at peak times. This is super cool and I'm glad I made it my "one extracurricular" on my work trip.

Starting out! So much to take in

Surreal! I don't know what I expected, but this was a full sensory experience! Lots of colors and lights and sounds - take plenty of time to explore every room as each offered something entirely different!

Meow Wolf is basically what happens if a fever dream and a box of highlighters had a baby. You walk in and immediately get teleported to a dimension where physics is a suggestion and my sense of direction is useless. The whole place is an absolute trip; you can spend hours wandering around or actually follow the storyline if you want to feel like a detective on mushrooms. It's the only place in Denver where "getting lost" is the entire point. 10/10, still not sure if I ever actually left.

To describe any Meow Wolf excursion is to speak a different language, a journey into the beyond. I've been to our local venue several times, now. As an artist and writer, myself, with friends who have work in the space, I'm still left speechless. When it first opened, it was A LOT. People were still wearing masks due to COVID and places had just reopened. It was, quite frankly, a sensory overload. There were timed tickets, which were just vague notions because time gets lost in this immersive installation, without windows or clocks like a casino. There was also the fact that the place itself had just opened after years of false starts, with the Covid outbreak just as the exterior of the building was completed. I went back after things calmed down to give it a second chance. It was a good choice. The second time, I went in the evening on a weekday. It was quieter without the school groups and families. There was space to take in the scenery and participate in the interactive elements. The full bar that's open in the evenings was available to take breaks and leisurely stroll through the universe that is Convergence Station. I'm glad I went back to give it a second chance because it's now a destination for any friend that's visiting from out of town. I strongly suggest giving yourself plenty of time, should you have plans following your visit. No matter how many times you visit, you're going to feel like you've missed something. Each room has its own signature theme, as designed by independent artists. Each hallway, each doorway isn't just a portal into another world but its own unique space to explore. Then, there's the venue, too, with its dancefloor that echoes your movement in a panoply of colors, which is also a must-experience. Parking is aplenty yet paid. It's not a far walk from the light rail stop, so there's that option. The ticket prices have come down from when they first opened, offering discounts for locals in Colorado and annual memberships. If you're coming through Denver or live here, be sure to set aside time for this time warp!!

Trying on sunglasses in the gift shop, lots of cool options!

Meow Wolf Denver is amazing! The lobby feels like a train station, but when you take the elevators or stairs up you are in a completely different place! I love the trippy outdoor feel of one of the floors, there is also so much beautiful art. I've only visited the Las Vegas location, but this location felt like there were more interactive activities and little games! We could only spend a couple hours there so we barely scratched the surface, but we had a great time and I can't wait to come back to really get into the story! The only downside was that it was closed the afternoon we went, we already Ubered there too so that was disappointing, but it was because of a snowstorm and they opened that night which we were grateful for because we left town the next morning. Cool merch options in the gift shop too, we got a magnet and some bracelets. Can't wait to buy the Boop Card and come back! I feel like it would really take a full day to complete the story!

This was such a cool experience, my friends and I went when we visited Colorado and all I can say is I wish they had this in the LA or San Diego area. We thought we would be there for a good 30 min but man was I wrong. It took us 3hours to get through everything, but honestly I wouldn't be surprised if we missed a couple rooms. It lowkey feels like back rooms but in a better way. Each room was breathtaking, I even had to take off my glasses so my eyes could capture the whole thing. Pictures don't do this place justice because you have to be there, one thing I didn't like were people would "hog" certain interactive things. There was this cool car you could go in and I kid you not a whole group of friends stayed in that car for a good hour. If you go, pls be aware that others may want to check out the cool interactive things as well!!

It was my first time to visit a Meow Wolf. I did not know what it was before coming here. This immersive, walk-through art installation is massive. Overwhelming, it can be a sensory overload to others. It's interactive and you can touch a lot of things here. It's surreal, psychedelic, like a sci-fi/horror story. I don't think that it's a place to bring young children to. It was an experience to go here but I would not go again to another one. Would spend my money somewhere else. Not worth the hype. Not a fan, I did not appreciate it and found it very weird

Stimulating place great for an indoor weather day. So much to see and love the unique artwork displayed here. Love how this is fun for everyone.

Can I bring in a reusable water bottle?

I drank a water bottle and then refilled it inside at the water fountain.

How much time does it usually take to get through all of the exhibits?

If you have the RFID qpass, I would budget 2 hours minimum.

If I bring a bag that is more than 8x8, will they have a place for me to hold it? (I don't mind paying - not from here and I usually travel with a bag)

Hey there! We do have a bag check for a nominal fee, learn more here: https://meowwolf.com/faq#denver

Is there a cafe that serves wine?

Yes! They have a small dining area close to where you walk in that has a small selection of food. They also serve wine, beer, and hard seltzer.

The few things that I think could use improvement are the tacos. I've had Taco Tuesday there maybe 4 times and unfortunately realized that the tacos are pretty oily and unless getting a non-sauce inclusive taco it's going to likely be oily. The fusion of Filipino into the tacos is a nice gesture but honestly did not do it that much for me, I ultimately like their classic types of tacos and not really the fancy/unique ones they sell. My friend also got a burrito at one point and it was dripping oil. The drinks also tend to be on the weak side and after having three cocktails there over a single meal I didn't really feel much of anything. Not a big deal, I was just thinking not everyone wants a whole and if someone is extra hungry they can take two halves. Just thought it would make things a tad easier. They tell me no. They can't/won't cut in half. Ok, whatever. I don't understand what the big deal is, they obviously posses knives... just cut them instead of saying "no". So stupid. 20ish Minutes after waiting, the person who took my order said it would be 30 minutes to make. Which was weird cause what was going on for the last 20 minutes? 30 minutes to wait is fine, if you don't waste the 20 mins prior resulting in about an hour wait. So, I declined as now we are talking an hour to get 20 simple breakfast burritos. I needed to get to work and I wasn't wanting to wait an entire hour and they just wasted 20 minutes of my time not prepping anything, so I decided not to go with the burritos. Someone came to refund my sale and then preceded to kind of scold me for not ordering in advance. He said something about for an order like 20 burritos they want 2 days heads up. GTF outta here. It's freaking burritos. You don't need 2 days to make 20 burritos. And here's the thing, I'm not here for a lecture because I attempted to give YOU business. And I won't be back, either. When you get a customer to purchase your goods, be happy. Provide them the goods. Make it as soon as you can. Don't say no for no reason. Don't make anyone feel bad for trying to give you business. It would have been SOOOOO simple to make the burritos and quick run the knife through them. But, no, the choice was to do nothing for almost a half hour, to refuse to run a knife through them as asked, and then lecture a customer for coming in to order 20 items. It's not like I asked for 100. What if 10 customers came in and each ordered 2? Can you do that? Do they get lectured, too, or...? See ya.

One of the more memorable details was the menu book at the end of the night, featuring the chef's original sketches of the dishes. It's a small touch that really reinforces how personal and considered the experience is. If you're looking for a unique, chef driven tasting experience that feels cohesive and well executed, this is absolutely worth a reservation.

3.5 Stars…read more After waiting nearly three months for Denver's hottest reservation, my group of four were underwhelmed by our dining experience. The Good: The food itself was lovely. Fantastic flavors. Beautiful plating. If basing our review on the food alone--five stars. The Bad: Despite having been in their space for months by now, the ambiance was not there. The staff kept turning on and off the food heat lamps, which were so bright that the light level in the entire space vacillated between dark and sultry to too brightly light all night. The temperature was absolutely arctic. Multiple groups had to ask for their coats from coat check before one of the waitstaff said he looked at the heating. He made adjustments, which did increase the temperature of the room from arctic to chilly--but it remained unacceptably cold. Pacing of courses was oddly timed. The waitstaff couldn't seem to strike a good balance between casual and fine dining--it was a little awkward at times. The Bad: Despite placing our wine flight orders twice, with two different waitstaff, they forgot to give us our drinks until we asked. By then, we'd missed two of the pairings. They did offer to serve us the remaining pairings at no cost, which was a nice gesture. But, it's wild that something like this happened in a place with 16 seats and 4 waitstaff--they missed out on $400 in alcohol sales because of this error. The meal was explained to our group as a "ten course" experience. We only received nine courses: 1. The venison "hamburger" 2. Cappuccino 3. Roasted apple 4. Crudo/sashimi 5. Scallop 6. Lobster 7. Venison skewer 8. Duck leg 9. Dessert This feels like an egregious oversight. And, based on what we overheard from the table next to us--almost felt deliberately misleading. The wine pairing is plainly described in the menu as "five pairings." As dessert was brought out, the table next to us inquired about the remaining pairings, as they'd only received 4 pairings up to that point. The waitstaff tried blaming it on the fact that "dessert wine is polarizing" and "we over poured the other pairings," but those are weak excuses. If you're not going to offer the full 5 pairing flight as advertised, that needs to be communicated ahead of time. Overall: With a price point, including wine flight (had that worked out), per person of nearly $325--The Guest had too many substantial misses. While the food may be ready for prime time, the service is leagues behind.
