I can't say enough awesome stuff about this place. The staff is great, they're incredibly helpful and knowledgeable , and I always know I'm getting as great product. However the star of the show is definitely my piano instructor, Eileen. I've been working with her for a couple months now, with no experience in piano and incredibly rusty knowledge of music theory from my high school band days, and I can say that she's an amazing teacher. Not only is she knowledgeable about everything related to technique, music theory, and composition, but she's the perfect amount of kind, compassionate, and constructively critical. I always see the stereotype of the hyper-critical, ruthless piano teachers, but Eileen breaks the mold there. I wish that every teacher in my life would teach with the incredible knowledge, confidence, and patience that she has. To anyone looking for a great piano teacher, I would recommend her to anyone who is dedicated to learning music and is willing to put the time into practice.

I have been here multiple times now. I have bought various items for a clarinet and a violin. The guys that have helped me have been professional, friendly and helpful. Store is always clean and they have had to order some items for me online. These items are delivered to the store at no charge or can be shipped to you plus shipping. I personally don't have a problem with all items not being in stock as a previous review mentioned. Prices are reasonable too.

Such limited stock. It's expected you buy everything online

DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!! I repeat, do not use this store for your music needs. I've been here twice since this store opened, and hate to say I'm disappointed. -not knowledgeable on their instruments -bad customer service -EXTREMELY limited stock. Not worth the time to walk in. I called beforehand to make sure they were open but no one answered the phone, it rang three times then went silent. No voicemail. The store is not stocked with many items, and it seems they expect you to buy everything online. Hardly anything in-store. Why would I come here then? Go somewhere else if you want to be able to see the instruments, touch them, try them out etc. The first time I came in I was in search of an instrument (guitar, drums, or saxophone) for my grandson. I walked in and immediately was hit in the face with the strong smell of marihuana. I understand that it's legal here in Nevada, but this store reeked of it. This store appears to have just opened too. I wasn't sure exactly where it was coming from until walking around for awhile and smelling it on the MANAGER. Her eyes were extremely red and when she breathed out I was hit in the face with it. The manager was a short heavyset (a bit overweight) Samoan or possibly Mexican woman with black hair. Not only did she reek of marihuana, but distant and hard to talk to. She kept talking to the other employee about her baby at home. I had to interrupt a few times to get a word in. It's great you have a young one at home, but as a customer I'm here to shop. She kept dawdling... not being responsive to me being there. I was actively looking for instruments and was not asked if i needed help at any point; they just kept talking and talking. Bad customer service. Walking through the aisles some items were mismatched, like someone had put the wrong items on the wrong rack. Disorganized. Now I tried not to judge too harshly, so on my second visit I was a bit more open minded - especially since they just opened and are probably working the kinks out - and the manager who was obviously high was not there this time. I asked one employee a few questions on quality vs price on a few of the guitars and was met with an "I don't know". I wasn'tsure if it was a joke at first so I stared at them and was met with a blank expression. I asked a few more questions but was met with similar responses, that they weren't sure or would have to ask someone. These people seem like they don't know anything about the instruments they are selling! I didn't feel like they cared about me being there or not. The employees name was either Melvin or CJ, because I heard both names while I was inside the store. I eventually walked out without buying anything, both times. I am done. I will be using Guitar Center at this point only. This store is not worth the drive anyway. I will be contacting their HQ with my concerns about the manager's condition. Is drug testing not a thing anymore? It seems like they're smoking it inside the actual store, based on the smell. Photo will be added to show how little they have in stock.

We were shopping for a violin and couldn't find the right balance of affordability and quality at other stores.

They are patient, encouraging and are such talented musicians. This past week our daughter went to one of their week long camps. It was so amazing we plan on signing her up for multiple camps next summer. She learned 5 new songs and even surprised us with learning a new instrument which she also demonstrated in the final performance. The kids are very nice and really do a great job working together. We love the inclusive and supportive environment they've created. We've had several friends recommend School of Rock to us and we now understand why they are all such big fans. We feel so incredibly grateful to this entire team. They aren't just teaching kids how to sing and play their instruments they are making a big impact in their lives. From their passionate owners to their talented instructors, this multi-program facility will cater to your child's development no matter what path they choose in the arts. Mind you, adults and all skill levels are welcome. It's never too late or too much to Learn! Coach Theresa gave us a warm welcome even before we joined the program. She was helpful and thorough in explaining curriculum, pricing and requirements. She was never pushy but gave us the options and her enthusiastic nature was comforting and reassuring. My siblings and their kids are also in the program enjoying and having fun! The Las Vegas location is fairly new but well organized and very spacious with multiple rooms for designated programs. They even have a fun playroom/waiting room for the kids and adults with monitors to watch your kids learn the arts in real time. They even have massage chairs! Would highly recommend if you are looking for music lessons. We definitely will be back for more for our son's enrichment in the arts!
