The guitar tech service needs to be greatly improved .. why do i have to pay 100 bucks for a guitar set up that is not finished completely. I asked for low action and when i got it back there was buzzing all over the fretboard. And the intonation was not perfect. The guitar saddles were still in the same position when i handed the guitar off to get it fixed. The Floyd rose was not floating it was tilted up and i had to fix it myself. My advice is the store needs a better manager. And better employees to be honest. Also i bought 4 packs of strings, guitar picks, and a pedal. And they never put the guitar strings in the bag. So i paid for something that i never received.. how can an employee not put the things you hand them in a bag? I swear the store is full of morons and idiots . read more

Do not purchase anything here! The sales associates are very dishonest. They will quote you one price but then at check out charge you a higher price and then try to email you the receipt without a paper copy so that you don't notice. Also warranties are not mandatory even if they say so!! They just want to charge the highest price for everything while being dishonest at the checkout. They will lie straight to your face .What a shame of a business. Make sure the price you agree on is the same price on the receipt and Call them out on their BS! read more

First of all when you walk into the store. everyone completely ignores you. I go yo the charleston guitar center since its close by. They never have anything i need in that store. The walls are always bare... The drum room is a total cluster F@&k. Many years ago Guitar center used to be a great store. Now it's operated by a money hungry corporation that doesn't care about customers . ONLY MONEY .. The managers who work at the charleston location have no idea how to run the place. I had a fun time today at the Guitar Center in Summerlin. It is a nice store with so much inventory to choose from. I liked looking through their music books. They have really cool guitars for a good price. I was helped by Matt who was super nice and friendly. Did I miss the Korg keyboards or do they not carry them? The drum department was impressive, as well as the acoustic room. Everything was so clean and the staff were all wearing masks. Thanks so much for carrying the PA-150 adapter! Please order more. My son has been taking lessons for years. However, his instructors has canceled on his numerous times and has left. He's left with credits he can't even use and is being ignored and tossed aside by Loren from the Town Square location. They won't give him his lessons for his date and time and won't give me the money back so I can go somewhere else to continue his guitar lessons with a more reliable company! Good luck trying to contact them by phone because no one ever answers! read more

You shouldn't have to wait for 40 minutes to talk to someone about anything anywhere in any brick and mortar store this day and age. Another one of the many reasons that old school retail is dying. I am somewhat exaggerating it was only 39 minutes that I waited and finally left having spoken to one person after that wait only to be told he couldn't help me. This is getting to be a common thing at Guitar Center, at least in the drum section. Don't know what their problem is but it's not just me. Two other guys said they have had the same issue in recent visits. It's getting old, dudes. I'm hitting the internet for what I would have purchased out of your store. read more

My son and I started taking piano lessons with Ty a few months ago and he is amazing! We each learn very differently, and he is able to seamlessly switch methods between my son's half hour and mine. He is so supportive and kind, I have never once felt insecure about being a 40 year old mom just starting out on piano. I could not recommend him more highly! read more

It's not a good practice telling a parent of a child bassist that their bass can't be re-strung because he's too busy. I've bought a lot from them but I won't go back anymore. Someone else will take my money. read more

I called here the other day looking for music lessons for my son. They have me the break down and were super friendly and told me to bring him in. Today we went in to check it out at met with Chas. He was super informative and showed us around the lesson area. He was so beyond nice and truly cares about what he does. Unfortunately they didn't have any availability right now for what we needed, so we didn't sign up, but I would still reccomend people to them. He was great! read more

walked in to buy some chords and when I asked the person for help he acted like I was bothering him. Then told me to hold on while they had to sign into something took 10 minutes to sign in then finally walked over and pointed to where they were which was only two steps from where I was standing made me feel extremely uncomfortable the entire time when I went to pay they said their computers were down began writing up the slaps made me feel extremely uncomfortable at that point as well so I left. Customer service here sucks. We called and they said they buy used equipment, they didn't offer to help us unload anything or come to the car to look at it. We had to haul it all inside and waited and when we were next she said she had to help the next few customers before she can look at the stuff. Really? We were next... then they didn't even want anything or take much time to see what it all was. read more

Sometimes it hard to find a worker to help but everything's on order it shouldn't be a problem. As a percussionist they have everything you want/need for marching and concert band. Many different brands to choose and a verity of stick to choose from. read more

What an excellent customer service. Jeremiah, operation manager,was very kind and helpful. He took his time and search the cajon I was looking for and found it.
