Meeting Checkers, Sr. not only made my day but my whole two-week vacation in Missoula! This dude knows drums -- everything about drums!! He gave me a tour around the whole shop and talked drums with me at length and by the time I left I felt like he had been a good friend all my life. Checkers, Jr. and Dave are also excellent guys and on my recommendation my daughter and son-in-law (who live in Missoula) are going to start taking their son to get drum lessons there. And they have merchandise and lessons on other instruments too. If you haven't been in, you've got to go meet the guys at Electronic Sound & Percussion. They're simply amazing!

We designed our entire float and drop off plan around something you could have communicated to us to avoid a Waste of time We now had to pay out of pocket when not planning to and had to drive all over town just to rent. The owner of the store, Brooke, knows almost all of the artists by name and can usually tell you a little about where they live in Montana and their lives, which I think ads a really nice personal touch. Like my sisters print was done by a nature illustrator named Britney Finch, and she has a small collection in the store so I was able to get a couple stickers as well. Love that there are higher quality items for if you want to really treat someone that you love and accessible/affordable options for a smaller occasion. Definitely my favorite store in the mall!

Cam could absolutely fix it, but was concerned I would be back within a few months spending more to keep it running than it was worth. It had been a gift from my husband when we had very little. Cam guided us through the decision (no pressure!) of a new machine. I told him exactly what I needed and he did not attempt to "sell me" on something crazy expensive. In the end, I walked out with the perfect machine for what I needed and it was UNDER $1,000. After a couple of weeks, I was struggling with some of the features/functionality. He invited me to come in, sit down, and sew. He would be right there to answer x, y, and z. Within 2 hours, I was off and running. I'm still using that same little machine AND bought my dream longarm from them. He and Josie are THE BEST! (My little old machine DID get repaired and they donate them for use in the community.)
