Being new to the area, we had no idea what Music City Bricks was during a drive out. A simple online search led us to spontaneously visit this amazing store! Legos!! Legos everywhere! It's not your typical Lego store, no. Dare I say, it's better? It's a community of builders, young and old. There's space for free-building, a child's play area, and a large area where they're currently building a city with a train going around it. They have set dates where builders can bring (or store at Music City Bricks) their train designs and run their builds on the tracks. Beyond the hands-on daily fun, you can browse pre-built cars, buildings, minifigures, and more. They also sell individual Lego pieces, sets, and pre-used Legos sets (that may or may not be missing blocks). They even sell Lego magazines! This store is FUN and you can easily spend 45 minutes just browsing the pre-builds alone. From new to discontinued Legos, Music City Bricks has a ton of options for all ages. Service is friendly and though we did feel like we were being watched by one of the teenaged staff members, I understood why. They have this place on lock-down for any sticky fingers. I did feel like Music City Bricks is on the more expensive side, especially being that Lego is already priced out for many. My husband and I have been playing Baulder's Gate 3 and when I saw the Lego minifigures for sale, my excitement quickly went away when some of them were priced at $25 a guy. We will definitely come back and I think eventually those BG3 guys will be on our list of things to buy. read more

This place has a great selection of used and new bricks! You can even get special options you want without the hassle of finding them yourself. Great party area we are thinking of in the future and the play area was AMAZING! Hand washing stations perfectly set for kiddos and the staff were wonderful! I went in thinking I'd be in and out but I was there all day. Why? Because I never wanted to leave. I wanted to do all of the activities. There's a pixel wall where you can build with 1x1 Lego, there's a bin of just red 2x2x4 to build whatever with, there's two aisles of bins of donated parts where you can fill a really big bag for $20 (and they have every piece in the entire world in that store if you dig long enough), and a really cool build a minifigure station that does run a lil higher than if you were at the Lego store but they have discontinued/hard to find mini figure parts which I think is what makes it worth it. Most of all, everyone there including myself was there looking for pieces to build castles and despite us all buying so many pieces, we didn't even make a dent in the inventory. Truly it feels like there's more bricks in that store than atoms in the universe lol. read more

This place is an absolute scam as a massive Lego fan with a collection of over 400 sets and over 50,000 parts it is sad to see people like this claiming to be a hobby store for all Lego fans everything was 2-3x what average retail price is based of of amazon which even non Lego fans no and love and don't get me started on comparing it to bricklink prices that's where it gets even worse they're trying to charge $20 for a minifigure that is worth $3-4 on bricklink and they also wanted $15!!!!!!! for one single botanical flower from the bouquet you get 15 flowers for $47.99 on amazon right now. I came back here after not coming for a few years and I remember why I only came once 3 years ago even though I live in goodletsville which is only 30 minutes away it's because this place was so expensive!!! If you want a good reasonably priced 2nd hand LEGO store like this then go to Bricks and Minifigs in Brentwood or even the one that's opening soon in Hendersonville. You will find that a $60 set there is actually $60 instead of $135 at this place. read more

I'm a Lego lover and when I saw that this place was 30 minutes from my house I didn't even question it. When I got here I was excited to see what they had to offer. There is new and old sets to buy, lots of Lego to play with and many interesting builds throughout the store. I can see this being a great spot if you are looking to replace pieces or get specific pieces for a build. This is all family owned and operated, which reflects in the shopping experience. You have to double check the hours since they aren't open everyday but well worth the trip to it. read more

Wonderful family-owned hobby store for all Lego & "brick" building enthusiasts. great place to find unique gifts for your children or grandchildren. They have bins & bins of Lego pieces, stacks of Lego sera, building guides & many finished Lego sets for inspiration. They also host Lego themed birthday parties. Prices are competitive, atmosphere is just plain old fun. Even a 72-year-old like me enjoys the many afternoons spent at Music City Bricks with my grandsons. One grandson builds "his own thing" - usually military installations with vehicles, buildings, terrain & soldiers. Sometimes he builds Star Wars versions, sometime modern day military & sometime futuristic stuff he designs on his own. When we go to MCB he usually has a list of "parts" he is specifically looking for but always winds up finding something new he just has to buy. Music City Bricks is located on Highway 109 - easy to get to - (in a small office/industrial park) between I-40 & Lebanon Pike. Staff is very knowledgeable & helpful. This place and the family that runs it are wonderful human beings that deserve many years of a successful business. They are warm, friendly, funny, and genuinely caring people who treat their visitors like a community, not just customers. I started bringing my 3 year old son there weekly one day after school, he is autistic and not the best with social situations or conversation but they go out of their way to include him, even asking him questions about what he's building that could spark more conversation skills, and even adding educational things (like what color are these bricks, how many minifigs do you have etc etc). They even have a small room dedicated for the young builders with monthly DUPLO themes. Best of all you don't have to spend a $ to come and play. They run it like a community playhouse and as someone who comes weekly, it truly feels that way. I wish something like this existed when I was a kid growing up here, but I'm certainly glad it does for my kids. If you do decide to come, and play I recommend joining their membership. You spend $15 a month but get $20 every month as a store voucher. Seriously, Stosh and Melinda are just wonderful human beings with the friendliest kids just trying to give a good safe place for kids of all walks of life a place to belong and exist. read more

I was in need of specific LEGO bricks for a build my son was making to give as a Christmas gift. The family who runs the shop was super helpful and friendly. I enjoyed rummaging through their bins to find the right pieces and paid $15 for a pound of the pieces I needed to complete the build. I also made my own mini fig for $5. They have a great selection of mini figs, accessories, and pre-made builds for sale. I only wish I had more time to spend there; will definitely be back next time in town. read more

I went in with hopes of building a mock haas f1 car and when i arrived the service was excellent. Great atmosphere and extremely helpful owners. The bixes of loose bricks are priced cheap by the pound and whatever you cant find in the bin can be pulled from stock for mere cents. Ended up building the mock car for under 10 dollars and bought a mini fig to go with it. Definitely worth giving your business to and more. read more
