But Julia, our server, was by far the most impressive part of our experience. Aside from her excellent attitude, she was very familiar with the menu, never missed the chance to try and subtly make the upsell and was very organized in the way she both took and delivered our order. My son received his soda from another employee before Julia had even finished taking our drink order, and I saw Julia running hauling ice and doing other things outside the normal server duties, which gave the impression that everyone on the team is looking out for each other. And I'm not entirely sure it had anything to do with me, but after a few minutes of turning behind me to watch the one screen showing the Stanley Cup game, another screen changed to it that was easier for me to see. This place is just what it needs to be, and it does a good job at it. PS- I told Julia, but you guys really should consider making a poutine style version of your slider dish. They choose the cheese melted over the fries and meat, and they can pour the jus over the fries. Just a suggestion.

We love their outside patio for our dog & we're able to sit back, relax, chat, & enjoy a few drinks. They have many screens outside and this past Summer they were showing the World Cup matches which was a great time. Their food is good and enjoyable. We love their buffalo wings, burgers & most recently I tried their shrimp tacos which were refreshing. A bit pricey - but it's Tahoe! Definitely recommend supporting this business. The service is always so welcoming, friendly and laid back!

The steak was a little too chewy and tough for my taste, but overall good flavor. I loved the wild rice pilaf side! - lemonade and sierra sunburn: both really fresh and seemed like they were made from fresh lemons! the raspberry in the sunburn was great The lighting was warm and the lights were really overhead. The benches were comfortable and not cold to sit on, and overall nice, clean, comfy environment. Service was really friendly and apologized that the drinks menu didn't have dairy-free options for some of the drinks with dairy, overall really attentive and engaging. We found a lot of street parking a few minutes away and walked over, also took a walk on the lake beach right behind it which was super pretty

Dog-friendly vibes, jaw-dropping Lake Tahoe views, and super friendly, efficient service--even with our multiple beer sample requests. I devoured the seared ahi tuna topped with vibrant mango salsa (pro tip: test that fiery side sauce first--it's no joke!). My boyfriend loved his California chicken sandwich with those perfectly crispy, hot fries. Skipped the beer to save room for dessert--rich, indulgent, but perfectly balanced. Total winner! If you're in Kings Beach, Tahoe, this spot nails the lakeside chill with tasty food and unbeatable scenery. Highly

I ordered the garlic mashed and this time it had a yummy savory gravy on top. My wife ordered the Sea Bass and raved about it, and cleaned her plate which almost never happens anywhere. Sea Bass had a crispy crust with pistachios and herbs and spices that was nothing short of fantastic. A light flaky fish that didn't taste fishy seasoned to perfection ..... A+ I've had the Caesar Salad here before and if you check my previous review , i had great things to say about it but on this visit we went with the Caesar prepared table side and it was Awesome!! Matt has a great personality and entertains you with cheesy dad jokes for 5 minutes while you watch him prepare a fabulous Caesar. The dressing is so bright and flavorful , the lemon , garlic , anchovy and vinegar really pop and every bite brought ooohs and ummmms . We've had Matt serve us before and enjoyed chatting with him, I think his positive energy and pleasant personality really stand out, If I was running that restaurant I'd make Matt the head waiter/ manager and have him train all of my staff. Anybody can take your order and bring you your food and then the bill but when you bring a little energy, enthusiasm and personality to a fine dining experience like the Steak and Lobster House, you really hit it out of the park!!! If i could request Matt as my waiter every time i would , great job on the salad and spreading some joy throughout the restaurant !!! Cheers!!

Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, and she did a great job walking us through the day's specials as well as some of her favorite picks. I started with the In Crowd cocktail and really enjoyed it. The coconut, basil, and bitters balanced beautifully with the gin, making for a super refreshing drink that felt especially perfect for spring or summer weather. We followed our server's advice and ordered four items, two larger plates and two starters, and everything was delicious. Here's the breakdown: Trout Dip: Fantastic smoky, fishy flavor in all the right ways, served with crostinis. The only small nitpick was that the crostinis were overdone for my taste and shattered loudly when bitten into. Grilled Prawns: Super meaty and seasoned and sauced perfectly, with a bed of slaw that balanced the dish nicely. Scallops: Seared to perfection and in an addicting red Thai curry sauce. I was intrigued by the combo of kimchi, grits, and curry and have to say that it somehow blends amazingly well. Lamb Chops: Cooked to a perfect medium rare, expertly seasoned, with little gaminess and a cooling yogurt sauce that really brought the dish together. All in all, it was a fantastic meal and easy to see why this place is such a favorite among both locals and tourists. The food, the drinks, and the service all come together to make this a great option for any occasion from a casual night out (us) to celebrating something memorable like a graduation (several were happening while we were there).

We got lucky and managed to grab some seats around the fire pit both days we were there. Something about this communal pit puts folks in a good mood --- the first day the woman next to me whipped out marshmellows and sticks from her some ice cooler and shared them all around the fire. It was great! A lot of laughter and stories about the slopes ensued and we weren't simply strangers around the same fire anymore. The second day we purchased a smores kit from the bar and roasted marshmellows with the kids again. This seemed to unleash the kid in others near us. Two pairs of folks who didn't know each other, struck up a deal and pooled their money to get their own kit which they shared. The bartenders are fun --- have them make you thier specialty drink a "Dirty Snowman," (hot chocolate, vanilla flavored vodka and Bailey's). These folks also make an awesome hot apple pie (the drink, not the pastry). My kids give the hot apple cider here two thumbs up. If you have proficient ice skating kids with you, unleash them on the rink on their own. They can burn excess steam within your full view. It's a beautiful thing to be able to drive home in peace with an exhausted skier/skater snoozing in the back!
