    Hangar steak undercooked
    Mark W.

The food and place had the potential to be 5 stars but execution is key. I had the hangar steak and ordered it medium rare. It came out rare. The Ahi Tuna appetizer was my wife's meal. Adequate I would say but nothing special. We would probably had another drink had they been more attentive. All in all, not bad in a tourist trap like this but nothing special either.

Cute restaurant in Incline Village with indoor and outdoor seating. The service was quick and friendly. I really enjoyed the shrimp pasta but it was a large portion, good for sharing. The beet arugula salad was also good and fresh.

I ate this very jalapeño burger on August 24, 2026. I took the photo and added the captions.

Excellent burger! I took the photo and then added the captions to make it look like a promotion. This was the jalapeño burger at Fumo which I ordered to go. When I opened up the box this is exactly how it looked. Totally recommend!!

My friends and I stopped here on our way home from our mini vacation and it was delicious! We shared a breakfast burrito that was huge. I would earn there again for sure!

Great brunch experience here. The omelet and croissant French toast were both very good. Service and vibes were great. Will definitely be returning and trying their dinner menu too.

Couldn't wait to bite into my smash burger.

What a neat gem of a restaurant in Incline Village. The decor is whimsical and beautiful. The service is really friendly and helpful. Of course the star of our lunch was the food. I had an absolutely delicious smash burger while my wife and mother-in-law shared a Cali Chicken Club. Can't say enough good things about FUMO. Will absolutely go back to try some of their other offerings.

    Lobster deviled eggs
    Heather R.

Good news, the wine is great, and cold. The bad news. The lobster deviled eggs were over done. The lobster had to have been unfrozen/overcooked, the level of stringy was-beyond. And the oyster Rockefeller, full of shells, so much so it couldn't be eaten. This area is so expensive, I expected food to be amazing no matter what we chose I'll keep yelp at the ready next time....if I have signal.

Insanely delicious!!! Great atmosphere and service too! Love the dark wood and burning man photos on the wall. We did their seasonal 3 course dinner and wow that was the best salmon I've ever had. Combined with the slight sweetness of the risotto on the side it was so good. The salad was surprisingly amazing too, as a person not a fan on beets I still cleaned my plate! And the dessert. Wow no words. Amazing. The warm decadent butter cake combined with the slight sweetness/tartness of the berries, breathtaking. 1000% Will come back and try more. Service was amazing , our server was very nice and def hyped up the menu (well deserved to be hyped up).

Very cute and cozy restaurant right next to the Hyatt at lake Tahoe (walking distance)! We came in for some last minute breakfast/lunch and we both got the Benedicts - both pretty delicious! They served breakfast items until slightly later (2pm) so that was nice. The inside was small but very homey! Nice interior. Friendly and accommodating staff. Will definitely visit again when we're at the lake in the future.

    Clam chowder

My friend and I went on a Monday when Austin's was closed. Our previous time, about a year plus prior had slow service which made us late for an event and was expensive so we had skipped it other times. This time the service was excellent! The place is designed nice with the decor. It's very Tahoe modern and clean. We sat by the window. We couldn't understand why a bowl of clam chowder would be $19. They explained it was full clams but that still didn't make sense. They split it into 2 bowls for us and it was huge! I am definitely coming back for that. The Brie was okay, but I wouldn't seek it out. The spritz drink I had was lovely. The clam chowder and price match for the quality, but I feel some of the other items on the menu do not.

    Monte Cristo
    Amy W.

We were lucky enough to snag the last seating at the bar otherwise it would have been a 40 minute wait to eat indoors. Hubby thought we were going to a Japanese restaurant because of the name lol I ordered the ultimate benny, hubby got the Monte Christo and our kid got the clam chowder. The Ultimate Benny was so good even the waiter said nice choice when I ordered it, that's always a good sign! lol My eggs Benedict had everything you could want: poached eggs, avocado with bacon, crab cakes and buttered lobster. Even the potatoes on the side were delicious. Hubby and my daughter seem to be happy with their meals too

Had the best time at Fumo! I was in the area for a college reunion and decided to book an igloo reservation. We thought it was super cute and appreciated the heater. We got the seared ahi, crab cake, risotto, clam chowder and a few drinks. We loved the food so much we came back for brunch the next day! I got the crab cake benedict and absolutely loved it! I'd definitely come back just for the benedict. Our servers both days were great, although I didn't catch their names.

Nice new addition to the food scene in Incline, and convenient for off-property food options if you're staying at the Hyatt Regency. Cocktails: Overall, cocktails were tasty--especially the ones served on coup glasses. Skip the old fashioned--it was served over a bunch of ice cubes instead of a big cube. That's a vibe killer for me. Food: the food was tasty from the lobster deviled eggs to steak tartare. My husband loved his ribeye. The elk (the nightly game special) was okay, but overcooked. Mushroom risotto was tasty. Because it's Incline, it's an expensive meal, but a tasty one.

Yes, it's a bit pricier, but that feels completely expected for an on-resort restaurant. We started with the chicken wings, and our server was very eager to let us know that we could do as many sauce combinations as we wanted for the 8 wings. We went with half buffalo and half dry rub, and both were excellent. The wings were perfectly crispy, which I love, with the buffalo sauce bringing a tangy little kick and the house dry rub packing in tons of seasoning and flavor. Bonus points for providing both ranch and bleu cheese on the side for dipping! The French onion soup was surprisingly tasty, with a rich, very oniony broth and an impressive gratin of cheese and charred onions on top that gave it a really satisfying and sumptuous crust. For our entree we opted for one of the Restaurant Week offerings, a choice of burger with a side for $20, and went with the wagyu burger plus a side salad. It was delicious, with the patty being cooked to a perfect medium, and the whole thing being so rich, savory, and packed with umami. Overall, this is a great spot for a casual lunch or dinner if you're staying at the Hyatt Regency (especially convenient as it is right off the front lobby), but also even if you're not!

Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, and she did a great job walking us through the day's specials as well as some of her favorite picks. I started with the In Crowd cocktail and really enjoyed it. The coconut, basil, and bitters balanced beautifully with the gin, making for a super refreshing drink that felt especially perfect for spring or summer weather. We followed our server's advice and ordered four items, two larger plates and two starters, and everything was delicious. Here's the breakdown: Trout Dip: Fantastic smoky, fishy flavor in all the right ways, served with crostinis. The only small nitpick was that the crostinis were overdone for my taste and shattered loudly when bitten into. Grilled Prawns: Super meaty and seasoned and sauced perfectly, with a bed of slaw that balanced the dish nicely. Scallops: Seared to perfection and in an addicting red Thai curry sauce. I was intrigued by the combo of kimchi, grits, and curry and have to say that it somehow blends amazingly well. Lamb Chops: Cooked to a perfect medium rare, expertly seasoned, with little gaminess and a cooling yogurt sauce that really brought the dish together. All in all, it was a fantastic meal and easy to see why this place is such a favorite among both locals and tourists. The food, the drinks, and the service all come together to make this a great option for any occasion from a casual night out (us) to celebrating something memorable like a graduation (several were happening while we were there).

The burrata was nice but crostini was so hard I thought it might tear up my mouth. Gnuddi was tasty but very oily. Great ambience and perfect for a wine drinker - extensive list. We would bring family or friends there for a night classy night out, but it wasn't overwhelmingly amazing to us.

We started with the sage and cheddar biscuits, which were wonderful, and the glazed pork belly with chili crunch with toasted cashews - the combo of the nuts and pork was really delicious. We then had the Niman Ranch pork chop and grilled steak frites. Pork chop came with creamy polenta, mushrooms, and a blueberry glaze - I'm hungry just writing about all this. The chop was grilled to perfection - moist (no pink meat) and nicely charred for the flavor. The glaze is a hint of sweetness and the creamy polenta is a winner. The mushrooms are an excellent compliment. The grilled steak was also cooked to perfection - medium rare. The flat iron steak is such a great cut of meat. The fries in duck fat were very good. For dessert, we had a chocolate masterpiece. The meal was well priced considering the location and the time of year. And while the meal was special, it was the service that really made the experience special. While being utterly professional, the staff is also friendly and on top of it.
