I've never been so insulted. These clowns must have assumed they were stolen. "Where'd you get them? Why are you selling?..." Hey pal, I have multiple instruments and these were two I almost never play (as if it's any of their business). They claimed there were problems with both and weren't interested. Now, I have done business with them multiple times, but they can kiss this customer goodbye! I'm not a thief, but these guys are jerks. To prove these were from my personal collection, I've included a picture of my remaining guitars. I ended up gifting the guitars to my niece.

But I came at about 2:45 and the whole place was still dark. Just a thought - maybe have enough staff around at all times that some of your employees can take lunch while others are still on shift? Were they closed for summer vacation again and just didn't tell anyone? Sorry, but I'm all done here. You've wasted enough of my time. At one time Portland Music Co. was the best in the city. Those days are gone. It's better to buy music online nowadays anyway. The prices are often marked down by 20% or more if you get in on a holiday sale or something.

I was visiting Beaverton Oregon and the first music store I went into recommended Five Star…read moreGuitars. I immediately liked the selection of instruments and amplifiers. Michael was quick to help me find the perfect Mesa Boogie and brought down some custom PRS guitars so I could rock out and relax. I had a great time playing for a couple of hours. I returned the next day and continued to play and chat with the great staff. Geoff introduced himself and asked what I was interested in. He brought me a few high quality guitars until I couldn't resist. He made me a smoking deal on the JP Mesa Boogie and a beautiful purple mist PRS. I recommend FSG's and will definitely continue business with them even though I am from the Central Valley in California.

I was told I had 30 days to return it. I didn't like it and tried to return it a few weeks later. What I wasn't told was that I'd only get $50 as in store credit if the box was damaged (just the box, not the actual product itself). The worst part was the guy looked up the resell price on a used version and it came to about $80, but he then took 35% off even though it's a return. I then wanted to buy an amp (What I originally wanted before I was talked into something else) and asked for something around the $150 mark. He then tried to talk me into an amp without telling me the price. I had to firmly ask what the price was twice before he told me it's $300. Even though I was visibly upset from losing $100 from a product I bought from them because the box was damaged. I finally got him to show me exactly what I wanted. If you go here, know exactly what you want and be firm about it so you're not talked into getting something you don't want that costs more money. Also know that the boxes their products are in are worth $100 so you can't return a perfect condition product, within their return window, if the box is damaged.

Thanks to Annisa. Annisa has a great personality as a teacher. She is strict and very friendly, and she blends these very nicely from student to student and that is what makes her a lovable & GREAT teacher. From what I see, she has level set my daughter that learning Piano is nothing but fun. The coursewares recommended by Annisa are FAR better than what I have seen. Another biggest advantage is the "Mock Recital"& "Recital" she arranges every now and then, which completly has given ample confidence in my daughter to perform in public and at any venue on a Grand Piano. I have recommended 3 of friends' kids to her and they feel the same way too. To put it short, if you want a kid-friendly, efficient & productive teacher, you can count 200% on Annisa.

My goal as a teacher is to make lessons fun, as early as possible. It is all about making music and students being creative, so they do not feel pressured to perform or to get things exactly right all the time. If there is any yelling to be done, the words should be things like "Great Job!"
