The participants in the class were newbies, others who had taken some classes before and even a regular who has been coming to art classes given by 4P Studios for 8 years! Everyone was super friendly and very encouraging to everyone. I'm not, by nature, an artsy person but will definitely sign up for more classes at this studio. It was $50 for the sign & 3 gnomes. I chose Easter, St Patrick's Day, and Patriotic. The class started at 1:30 and we finished about 4 hours later. You can come back another time and do 3 more Gnomes for $25. If you have a special project in mind you can contact them and they will help you create what you're looking for. I definitely want to come back and do so if their other signs. They have a lot of cute examples on their walls.

Other than that, some of the office staff are rude, nonchalant, and unhelpful--especially to night classes. They do nothing to support us, including with career pathways. I've applied to jobs and attended job fairs on my own. This school is a sham, and I'm honestly embarrassed to call it my home college. I can't even talk to my family about the school because it doesn't provide all the necessary tools to carry out my education, and the tools they do give us are bottom-of-the-barrel cheap. Half of my tools are already broken. The lab we were promised still isn't even finished, and I graduate soon. Don't get me started on attendance policies. I can't even keep the job I need to help pay my bills because they threaten to drop you if you miss class due to work or other responsibilities. This is outrageous and disappointing because we literally had a class mate get stabbed. I did not feel safe or supported by my school. When you have to look over your shoulder when leaving class, it is clearly an unsafe learning environment.

Students just show up and cook. I've really enjoyed my time and can recommend. Fair warning though. These classes always sell out.

It's the first time I've "cared" about school since the 3rd grade. The teachers here care about you, and with the small class sizes you really get a chance to know them and form meaningful relationships. The classes are quick--8 weeks--and you're able to knock it out at an extremely convenient but comfortable speed. And the club opportunities are terrific. Our debate team went to Chicago. It was crazy. The school's extremely affordable as it is, but on top of the already low cost, your books are free. If you're interested in starting college for the first time or coming back to try again, I implore you to do it at GMC.
