This was the first and last time I will use this florist. I ordered on line for same day pickup of 5:00 pm. when i got to the flirist @ 4:45 they were closed. online ordering clearly says they are open till 5. I called and got their answering machine that said they close a 2:30! Next morning I called to check on order and explained situation. The lady I talked with was very rude when I tried to tell her their online ordering app has the wrong operating hours. They did get an arrangement delivered to the funeral home but although it was nice, it was very small and nowhere near worth the price we paid for the arrangement. I was passing through Jacksonville on my way to my parent's house for my mom's 92nd birthday. I stopped by Musick's Flower Shop to pick up a bouquet of roses for my mom. They had 3 pre-made arrangements to choose from and were all quite expensive. I chose roses, and with tax, they were over $90.00!! The arrangement was nice, but I felt it was a bit overpriced. The lady who assisted me was nice enough. If I had had more time, I would have shopped other flower shops in the area, but unfortunately, time didn't allow it. read more

The casket spray we ordered for my mother-in-law's funeral service was far below par. The roses had wilted, had no smell and the spray started breaking apart when we returned to the cemetery later that day. The order was placed well enough in advance of the service but was delivered 5 minutes before the visitation started. Overall a terrible for our family. read more

The positive thing I can say is that the delivery was timely and online ordering worked well. However, regarding the 60+ dollar birthday arrangement I ordered was nothing like the online picture. If I lived closer, I would have bought a 5 dollar basket and picked about five free flowers to go in it, but I am out of town, so I was at the mercy of a long time, supposedly reputable flower shop in the area. The only positive thing I can say about this florist is the delivery was on time. When I walked In It should have been my red flag but I always try to give people a chance and support my towns small businesses. When I walked in the lady that greeted me seemed very polite and kind. I explained to the lady that I was looking for something for a funeral. The lady quickly started showing me what she had for a funeral. I had a few options as far as house plants. I asked If that was all she had and she quickly said yes this is all I have. I started asking questions and she would interrupt me and I felt rushed. In the past experiences I had with florist they always have a huge selection. This wasn't the case but like I've mentioned I always try to support my towns small businesses. Finally I decided on a basket arrangement (As I didn't have many options) that she made It seem like It would be beautiful and come In a white wicker basket. I gave her the information paid my $86 (which $15 was for a delivery fee) for said arrangement and left. The next day Friday April 6th 2018 was the funeral. I Got to the funeral home and I've never been so upset at anything I've every purchased from a florist In my life. This $86 flower arrangement was awful looking. It had 4 pink roses that looked half dead, 2 sunflowers and maybe 5 blue bonnets no filler and the bow was sideways and made out of the super thin ribbon and was orange and in a white plastic basket (Wish I could upload the picture of said arrangement). I will never purchase from this florist again! I was ripped off on the price and the arrangement! They should be completely ashamed of themselves for letting something like that go out the door of said business! Lesson learned never again!! read more

I am an out of town visitor. I went to this establishment to purchase a funeral spray on the day of the funeral and was told by the somewhat surly proprietress the prices started at $100. I asked for a sense of what a $100 spray would look like and was shown a spray also destined for the same funeral. Thinking it seemed somewhat sparse and small, I ordered a $200 spray (plus a $15 delivery charge and a charge to have a ribbon added). At the graveside there were 4 sprays and, while the flowers were different, in no way did the $200 spray look like it should have cost more than the $100 spray, much less twice as much. I feel like I was totally ripped off. She could have at least been nice and friendly while doing it, but the opposite was true. I would strongly recommend avoiding this florist. read more
