My daughter joined Sally piano about two years ago, she is almost at level 4 now and plays all kinds of songs. Her teacher Sherry is very professional and truly knows how to work with my daughter to maximize her level of interest in piano. My daughter practices everyday after her lessons each week and are very excited for her next lesson each time. Sally piano holds recitals three times a year, my daughter plays harder songs at each recital and Sherry always teaches her with patience whether the songs are assigned by her or requested by me. I've been taking piano lessons through Sally Piano Music for several months now and have only very positive things to say. Firstly, contacting Sally and getting my first lesson setup was exceptionally straightforward. I'm an adult beginner and the teacher she set me up (Jimmy Hwang) with has been excellent. In general what I value the most beyond the excellent lessons is the simplicity and organization of the entire affair. I'm generally very busy and so I greatly value the hassle free way in which I can make payments online in advance. Furthermore should I require any changes etc. Sally is very responsive over email and promptly addresses any issues. We have been working with Sally Piano Music school for over 6 years . We have been working with different teachers for the past 6 years and now we are working with a great teacher Rachael . She been the piano teacher for my son and for my daughter. Both my children have learned to play well under Sally's music program and teacher's patient and gentle yet firm instruction. I've been teaching piano lessons to students from Sally studio for almost 5 years now. She's such a great teacher and one of my best colleagues I really enjoy collaborating with. Her enthusiasm and teaching method will definitely make students love practicing the piano after taking lessons for a few weeks, especially students at young age 5 - 8 yrs old. My 4year old daugter naturally loves to play the piano. She had two other teachers before we met Sally and they were not able to help my daugter to keep her focused and have fun /enjoy the piano lesson. With Sally, my daughter became excited every week to go to piano class and practices at home on her own. Sally has a way of inspiring my daughter to love playing the piano even more. We have really enjoyed watching our daughter learn the piano and she is really having a great time with it. Ms Aku has found a way to connect with our daughter and how she learns and that has made a world of difference. My son took piano and guitar lessons with Nathan Lackey for 8 years (from 8 yrs to 15 yrs). I have so many positive things to say about Nathan I wasn't even sure where to start! But I'll start by stating that Nathan is a wonderful teacher, not only because he taught my son the mechanics behind playing both the piano and guitar, but also because he introduced music theory along the way. Thanks to Nathan's teachings, my son has been one of the main piano accompanists for his High School choir. My son would actually still be taking lessons with Nathan had Nathan not moved out of the area. I would leave zero star if I could. Sally piano is dishonest and the instructors sent out were mostly recent grads. Knowing how to play an instrument and teaching an instrument is two different things. We had a lot of scheduling problems with the instructor constantly requesting to change the set lesson dates. When we decided to cancel and request a refund, Sally told us that we could not without a 30 day cancellation notice. Mind you we were not under any sort of contract or given any prior notice of such terms. Do yourself a favor and save your money or spent it on a more worthy business/professional instructor. read more

Sally's Piano Music is a terrific business to teach how to play piano. They've been very flexible to my schedule, and set me up with a teacher who lives relatively close to me. My teacher is very smart and is teaching me the skills I need to take home with me to practice after each lesson. The piano lessons are very affordable. They don't require some giant hidden fee. All I do is pay the cost of my lessons for the following month. It's only a buck a minute. I chose to get 30-minutes lessons which is a perfect time length for me. We love our instructor JoAnne. She is so amazing with our 5 years old daughter. We found MusiKey from a friend who takes lessons with them and they highly recommended them and I am so glad we decided to go with them. Such a wonderful organization. While many piano instructors teach children, I had difficulty finding someone willing to have me (an adult) as a student. I tried two different teachers before finally hearing about Sally. Her lessons focus on the basics (like scales and lessons from technique books), as well as full songs. She breaks the songs into manageable portions, so I am never overwhelmed and notice my progress from week to week. Her approach works. As long as I practice, I get better. We have 2 children who have been receiving lessons from Musikey for at least 4 years now and we have been very pleased. Sally has been teaching my son since 09/2012, and one year later my daughter became her student as well. Sally has great patience working with kids. She was able to tailor my child's needs based on their progress. My son had impressive improvement in the first year, then tends to steady learning. Having them come to my house makes it super convenient for me since I have multiple kids with a long list of activities.
