They charge you an extra $7 to get your eyebrows done as a walk in, but they don't tell you until you're about to pay. I walked in as a first time customer, when it was completely empty, and they still charged it. So my subtotal was $20 instead of $13 despite me being the only one in there. My initial experience with customer service at Muskan Eyebrows in Cherry Hill, NJ, was pleasant. Now I know why I was pressed to say something pleasant and take a picture with the owner for her "Review" page. However, my follow-up visit was very unprofessional. After I received a request to return for post- evaluation, I indicated that I liked my eyebrows; however, there were a couple of very minor corrections that were required, which the owner agreed. Specifically, one eyebrow ink was lighter than the other and one had more of a slight angle at the base than the other. Again, minor corrections. I asked why one side was lighter, and I was informed that it was how my skin "took" the ink. Although. I didn't have this issue when I had them done several years ago at another establishment. Nevertheless, I was told that there would be a fee to make the corrections. I then informed the owner that I would also like to widen my brows slightly. I provided a picture with brows similar to mine, but a tad wider at the base, which I knew would be an additional fee. Instead of honoring my wish, the owner kept interrupting me when I was informing her that I simply wanted them to be a little fuller. I then indicated that I don't care what it cost, I just want them the way "I" want them. She then engaged her mother in the conversation to persuade me otherwise, which frustrated me, but I was respectful to her mother for being placed in that position. I finally indicated to the owner, after biting my tongue, that I will not continue to justify my eyebrow preference and her irritating, talkative, dismissive attitude. I informed her that I would have them corrected and adjusted somewhere else, and I left the building. As I was in my vehicle getting ready to leave, her mother came out and apologized for her daughter's behavior, and indicated if she said anything to offend me, please accept her apology. I informed her that she did nothing wrong; her daughter was unprofessional. Her mother made every attempt to convince me to make another appointment, but I was not interested. Anyone who knows me well knows that I am a very kind and professional woman, but I do not tolerate disrespect from anyone. Booked a last minute appointment with Maskan's mom for both my fiance and I. Being a male I never get threading done, and Maskan's mom reassured me that she wouldn't take too much off. She did the eyebrows very clean and minimal pain. Once finished she also recommended doing a nostril wax which I've never done before. Thought it would be painful but ended up being just fine. First of all, they do a great job with my brows. However, I will not be returning here. I felt as though they are not taking COVID-19 precautions seriously and are putting their patrons at risk. When you sign in they have a single pen used for all customers, no hand sanitizer at the door. They are not wiping down the chairs between clients. Furthermore, the threaders have not learned how to thread with their mask on. She took her mask off and then proceeded to talk while she was inches from my face. It was my first time here and I made an appointment with Muskan through Vagaro. An elderly woman did them and I liked them. What I didnt know was that it was Muskans MOTHER who came out and did my eyebrows, despite me making my appointment with Muskan. Since it was my first time going there, I didn't know. It was also never mentioned to me that her mom would be doing my eyebrows instead. I made another appointment a month later with Muskan, and a lady who I didnt recognize came out to greet me. Obviously I was confused, because she wasn't who did my eyebrows before, but it was *the real* Muskan who did my eyebrows this time. Truthfully, she did a bad job on my brows. They were uneven and left a lot of hair. She also asked very uncomfortable questions and kept making jokes about how she messed up my eyebrows. It was all very odd. I let her know about my confusion and how no one told me that her mother would be the one doing my eyebrows. I'm not a confrontational person and was just letting her know that I was caught off gaurd, and that if I knew it was her mom who did my eyebrows first, I would have made an appointment with her mom again. I didn't do anything complicated - just asked to clean up my eyebrows, but she didn't do a very good job. Really disappointing but I can't help but give just one star. I was initially really pleased with their service, but the past few occasions Muskan has been extremely rude. Getting your brows done should not be a stressful experience. She's good but not exceptional, and certainly not worth the stress/hassle. Customer service is important and they completely fail on that front Update in response to owner comments: I absolutely expect to wait as a walk-in, and definitely understand that appointments come first. It's pretty hard to make definite appointments with a young baby, which is why I hadn't that day. I fully expected to wait, just didn't think I'd be greeted so rudely and snarked at for not having an appointment. You should not advertise "walk ins welcome" when they clearly aren't. Won't be a returning customer (I was for 3 months) and will definitely be going somewhere more understanding and less stressful. I came here to get my eyebrows threaded. The woman who threaded my brows seemed kindly, but she latched onto the fact I said I wish my brows were thicker and that I only wanted them cleaned up, and started explaining the permanent makeup service they offer. She then asked me to pull up my Instagram, which I did, and she took my phone from me and followed the business and liked several photos, which bothered me a bit. Also, I feel like when my brows were finished, they were much thinner than I asked for, which was frustrating because I had spent months trying to grow them out, and upon inspecting my brows more closely after leaving, there were some stray hairs left behind I had to tweeze. My skin around my brows is also very painful and sore now, which hasn't happened to me with threading before. I don't think I'll come back. I'm not sure just my one visit is enough to really base your decision on, but I thought I'd share my experience. read more

PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!!! If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I came here right when they had their grand opening. They are absolutely horrible and so rude. They have an attitude with everyone and are so disrespectful. They would talk shit on their customers to me when she was doing my eyelashes. She was very pushy and i felt that I always needed to give a tip. There ugly crusty dog was extremely annoying and all over you when you walk in. They would also talk bad out the people THEY HIRED. I would give zero if I could! Horror story of micro blading at this shop! Here a few times over the past 4 or so years, to have eye brows threaded. It was mentioned to me by the mother(works there) and daughter(owner), that I should get the permanent eyebrows because mine are thinning. I was set to do the process in May but backed out at last min. I was worried about the scabs that she said might occur and have never had anything done like this before. I decided yesterday 12/28 to get it done. Big mistake! I sat in a chair while she drew my brows on with the brow stick that I use, in in between her working on 2 other customers. Then we go over to the brow side. I'm on the table and she says she is going to give me numbing cream and then immediately starts this scrapping/scratching process. I say this really hurts, am I supposed to be numb? Muskan says, I will numb you after this part. She proceeds to work on my brows, then has me sit in a chair, all the while telling me how great my brows look. I go to the lobby and see that 1brow is significantly higher than the other. She says "oh that's your dominate side" you brown will look better over the next few weeks. She takes several pictures and video and asks can she post on Instagram. I say sure. We go back to the other side and she takes my phone and then gives it back so that I can do a review. A little odd. I get home and really look at my brows and see that 1. They are uneven and 2. They are 2 different styles. After a back and forth with Muskan on the phone, she admits there is a problem and agrees to fix. I agree to go back the next morning, but still unsure how this can be corrected other than arching the other side which will have me looking like Ronald McDonald or Joan Crawford! I randomly find a professional tattoo place in the area and asked if they could take a look the same night and provide an honest assessment. They agreed that the higher brow should have the arch removed but since muskan is not qualified to do that. She would probably add more arch to the other side. This new angel co. agreed to remove the arch! After we talked and realized that ink was coming off which would leave the ok brow looking weird, they removed both. I cried and thanked them for helping me. She was going to do it for free, but I would not leave without paying. I was also provided a full kit of after care! Eye mask, vitamin d, 2 small vials of amphor, cleaning solution, Gause and tape. Meanwhile, Muskan agreed in writing to give me 1/2 my money back if I pulled my review (that she had me do at the shop) and not say anything bad or place blame on her co! I also got 2 drops of oil for my after care. Pictures are attached. You be the judge! I asked did she use s measurement tape. Her vm to me said she did not need to! I am glad they are removed but now must ho through a recovery period. There goes my New Year Eve plans! I am almost 60 years old and have never had any type of procedure done for this very reason! First of all im not sure why anyone would rate this place anything more than 2 stars. I usually get my eyebrows done at Deptford Mall but Muskan is closer to me so when it's bad weather or bad traffic I come to muskan. The 1st time the older lady did my brows and they were uneven and too thin. The 2nd time the younger lady did them and they were OK. So i decided to give them another go. The older lady asked me if I had been there before and I said yes but I dont often because you're too rough and hurt me. After explaining this to her she begins on my brows and when i say it felt like she was rubbing sandpaper against my eyebrows, im not kidding.(See pictures) After telling her that I had a previous bad experience, she was rougher than before! When i was done she asked "did i hurt you today" I said yes. She said ok next time you come tell us that you have sensitive skin. I said I shouldn't have to. I dont have sensitive skin, she's just terrible. Not only are my eyebrows uneven and one thinner than the other, they are so inflamed and burning. Lost my self-esteem after this - traumatized for life. I came here about a year ago and found how well she did my eyebrows. I came back in December to get my eyebrows done for my first day at a new job. It's the same lady who did it. When I walked in NO ONE greeted me. I literally stood there awkwardly wondering if I am allowed to walk in. Then the lady called me over and told me to sit down and she just did my eye brows - without even asking what I wanted. A few days later, looking back at my brows, I noticed how UNEVEN my brows looked. It wasn't even just me being nit picky- my boyfriend who knows nothing about brows even noticed how uuneven they were. I contacted them to ask for a refund but she kept refusing because it's a "service" and there are no refunds. But ummmmm.... you didn't give me the service I requested. So a month went by hoping my eyebrows would grow back and it did- well...sort of. I got them re done at another place hoping it would fix the error done by Muskan. But it didn't because there's a part of my brow that the lady at Muskan f***ed up so badly that not even another person can fix. So now I would have to wait God knows how long so mY eyebrows can go back to how it looked like before this mess. She was good the first time, but if you're one of those unlucky people who she messes up on, I'm sorry. I looked in the mirror and was disappointed. One eyebrow looked completely lopsided and the other just looked terrible. They were SO uneven and asymmetrical. I kind of mentioned it to her (in a nice way, I don't like telling people they did a bad job when they do my nails or eyebrows). I said, "I thought the other lady was going to do my eyebrows since I got her last time.. I scheduled for Muskan twice but have gotten two different people so I'm confused but it's okay! I then said "okay whatever" and she goes, "what did you just say to me?" and then I said, "I said okay whatever, I am definitely never returning because you guys are unprofessional" and she yells "don't come back" (there was a lot more than this, I have paraphrased a lot, she had a horrible attitude the whole time). I never write reviews, even for poor service, but here ya go. Today, there was a planned verbal attack made by Muskan (the daughter) on me when I went to receive services. They provide a sign in sheet in which they want you to circle "yes" or "no" if you received the C-Shot. Last time I was there I wrote "HIPPA" and informed that I do not want my medical info shared for the world to see on a sheet of paper and it is also illegal to ask someones' health info. The mother tried to circle the answer for me the last time I was there, but I stopped her (despite me not answering her question when she asked me if I got it or not). Who knows if it was circled after I left because people assume if you don't share what the answer is in their own head anyway. When I walked in today the daughter began verbally attacking me, yelling a me, and refused to acknowledge this is illegal. She told me to "Take it up with the governor." People have a right not to share their info, especially on a sheet that others can view with your full name and phone number next to it! To treat a customer in this matter is not okay. I tried to be the bigger person and said sorry for writing HIPPA at the top, however they cannot ask me to share my info on the paper. She continued to yell at me despite this and only stopped after her mother told her to. After aggressively attacking me verbally, she then tried to pay me a compliment about my "quads." Get real. If she wanted to have a discussion, fine, but this was certainly not a discussion. THINK WITH DISCERNMENT. We don't ask people if they have herpes, or the flu, or child vaccinations, or if someone is a pedo for that matter (they should need to disclose this) for beauty services! If this country gets turned into Venezuela, nobody will be able to own a business because it will be the elite and us peasants (she tried to say I was attacking her business for informing others you don't need to share your personal info), so just know you don't have to comply and THIS IS NOT NORMAL. I informed them I can get my eyebrows done somewhere else. Before I moved down here my previous eyebrow lady was cheaper, great at shaping, and would give a complimentary temple massage for a minute after and I'll gladly make that drive after this.
