I have had several repairs performed by Dewey's. Every repair they 've done was absolutely pro…read morework. The last repairs I had done were done on our ancient Honda Odyssey with 200k on it. The window operator failed, the rear window wiper failed and one of the slider handles failed. Just to make me feel like I did my due diligence, I took the vehicle to another body shop to get a secon d quote. I was shocked when the second quote came back at nearly double the price quoted by Dewey's. The repairs were completed perfectly in less than 8 hours without surprises provided by the final bill. In another event, my 2007 Subaru was hit in a parking lot. These repairs were far more complex than the van. The work took 5 days to complete (not surprisingly). The finished work was beautiful! My 11 year old Suby looks like new! This was one of those jobs that could easily have been more than anticipated due to hidden damage. When I picked up the car, the bill was exactly what the insurance company estimated. I would not have been surprised to have to pay some extra, but that isn't what happened. What I want from a body shop is quality work without any surprises. That is exactly what I got at Dewey's. Great workmanship, awesome staff great price!! Great customer service!! I thought that my starter was going out. When I called Jim Koestner's to…read moremake the appointment they were super friendly and suggested that it may be my battery and said they would take a look at it. They found that there was just a bad connection from the battery due to corrosion. They cleaned the corrosion, replaced two bolts, and charged me $19. I'm always weary to go to new mechanics just because I don't know anything about cars and they have the ability to lie and tell you whatever they want to get your money. Jim Koestner's did not do this!! I will definetely be taking my car back whenever it needs to be serviced.
