I LOVE GGS BBQ their food is AMAZING,i got the brisket plate and let me tell you that is some of THE BEST brisket ive ever had and for my sides i got mac n cheese and their mac n cheese is simple but filling and REALLY good. And they probably have the best sweet potato fries ive ever had. Their service is excellent and they are really nice. and the mood here is really nice! It almost has an old timer cowboy. Only downside is that their fountain drinks are really watered down.

The meat was pretty good but the bbq sause was so hot. Even the mild was not edible. That, to me, is just as important. So it was a bust for me. They charge extra for pickles and don't have fresh onion either. I guess I'm spoiled by the restaurant near my home, in Nebraska. I did enjoy the peacan bar and the homemade potato chips. This is just my opinion. They were super busy so give it a shot.

Brisket Plate with Wedges and MacnCheese.

Friendly staff and a very clean restaurant! Wedges have a spicy kick. Brisket was good. I would prefer a bit more lean but very good. Sauces were all good. I'd recommend to come and Id cone back.

Total for lunch 2 meat 2 side $30.00. For this price I expected better meat flavor. Brisket was average and not so tender and little dry. The serving size was small for Brisket. Seemed pork Serving was twice the amount. They have 3 sauces, but no labels on bottles so have guess what flavors they are . They serve plastic silverware when eat inside overall I rate this l average for the cost.

1 oz per sauce per meal they said. This is 3 oz...

I really Like GGs baby back ribs and there sides are great. I eat here pretty often. Be warned though, they are VERY stingy about the sauce when you order to go, even though they have it in ample supply when you eat in the restaurant. I was pretty frustrated to find that i got three tiny sauces for two people to share for two rib plates. When I asked for more they said that was all they give and you could buy more for $.39. They said they do 1 oz per meal. Thy offer four sauces from what I recall but at 1 per you can only try one. I had asked about sauce when I ordered and said I wanted all of the sauces and they didnt mention the extra charge. I had already paid when I found all this out and really didnt feel like going back and forth again to buy more sauce. I was pretty surprise really because it was so different than when I eat end. I didnt feel like a valued customer. I felt like a beggar at a food bank. Sauce, to me, is most of the reason I eat bbq. I will not order to go here again. I will probably hesitate to go back for dine it just because thisbhas shaded my view of the place...

2 MEAT $17.99, TWO SIDES and roll. Brisket and pulled pork, slaw and rings.

I love my BBQ and this was not it. Tried the sliced brisket and pulled pork. Did not care for pork at all...kept warm in stock and had a non pork taste? Brisket was not very tinder, a bit thin for my taste, nice bark smoke ring but bland. Thick onion rings were very good. Slaw should have been mush colder but fair. Coke products and tea. Coke machine was set perfect and very good. Great friendly service by high school kids. Very clean location, clean bathrooms. Nice parking lot off Hwy 50 west.

Tiny bbq sauce cup. Quarter to scale.
Angela D.

Decent bbq but 40 cents for tinyyy little cups of bbq sauce. If you're going to be a legit bbq joint don't be skimpy and cheap with the sauce. Pre covid they had huge bottles on the table. I wouldn't mind paying extra if it was a normal soufflé cup size but come onnnnnnnnn

Nice decor.

As Trump says, this place is a $***hole. Service and the owner were hostile. I'll be in search of another barbecue joint.

We had a fantastic lunch today at Shamrock Brewing! We had a party of 4 and everything we ordered…read morewas delicious. We started with the scotch eggs and Reuben bombs for appetizers. I absolutely loved the scotch eggs! I skipped the Reuben bombs since I'm not a big Swiss cheese fan, but everyone else at the table really enjoyed them. I ordered the Jameson meatloaf with mashed potatoes and veggies, and it was amazing -- full of flavor and cooked perfectly. My husband and son both got the fish and chips and couldn't stop talking about how good they were. My daughter loved the kids hamburger, especially the potato chips/fries that came with it. The atmosphere was awesome, the service was top notch, and my husband and I both enjoyed a refreshing beer with lunch. We had such a hard time deciding what to order because so many things on the menu looked great, so we'll definitely be back to try more items. Highly recommend!

Bar Service was exceptional. We ordered two entrees, Fish & Chips and Corned Beef. Fish & Chips…read morewere outstanding. Corned beef entree was just weird to me. I don't think there was anything wrong with the cook of the food, but the seasonings were just way off base to me. The Corned Beef was slathered with a Mustard Crème sauce that should have been served on the side. Some may like it, others will hate it. I didn't care for it. Cabbage seemed to be braised in a heavy Cayenne Pepper broth. It was inedible. The Champs were so bland that you had to shake the hell put of the Salt and Pepper. The Corned Beef without the Mustard sauce was actually pretty good, but so much was slathered with the mustard sauce that it just isn't worth ordering. Bottom line, here is how it breaks down: Service: 5/5. The bartender tonight was exceptional! Food: 3/5 at best due to the second entree ordered (fish & chips) being REALLY GOOD. Overall: 4-5*. The Fish & Chips saved this entire meal. There are a number of things to order from the menu at the bar. Obviously I would stay away from the CB, but I would definitely recommend the fish and chips! When I come back to Pueblo, I would definitely consider coming back here.

Since we hadn't been here in five years, I mentioned to our waiter how much I was craving a bowl, and he went out of his way to make it happen. That level of service alone made the visit memorable. I also ordered the Velvet Smoke mezcal cocktail, and wow, it was exceptional. Smooth, perfectly balanced, and not too strong. The smoky notes were present but not overpowering, and the nixta slate liqueurs, or heat and bitters brought everything together beautifully. Great service, great drinks, and a team that's willing to go the extra mile. Definitely worth the stop.

I particularly enjoyed the restricted gates down by the washrooms. Our server was friendly and attentive but the restaurant seemed slightly short staffed. A great selection of beers. Our food was very good. I was surprised at how salty the bun was on my veggie burger sandwich but it was still salty in a good way. The food took longer than average to come out, and that's the reason for the 4 out of 5 stars. We waited over 30 minutes for the food, and it didn't seem particularly busy, though the server seemed to be covering a lot of acreage with tables both inside and outside under her responsibility. She still did a great job, though. I look forward to stopping in again the next time we're passing through town.

I don't think we ever got our fries. We also ordered the chicken nuggets kids meals for the kids, and they seemed to love it. The bad was the service. They didnt seem to have that many customers, but when I walked up to the counter I had to wait a bit before even having my order taken. The employee who helped me was busy putting an order together, but another employee was just standing there the entire time, and I wondered why she didnt offer to take my order. Whatever. While I was waiting I got to hear the employee not only complain about how done they were with the day, but then proceed to argue with another employee(the shift manager?)about their break. Didnt take too long for the food. The dining room could have been cleaner. It felt grimy. Service just seemed totally disorganized and unprofessional, and honestly kind of ruined the experience for me. We probably won't return to this location.
