I liked this place; it's a neighborhood bar & grill and the people are friendly. The service was prompt and they kept everything clean. The bar is also well kept and there are plenty of screens to watch sports. I would have liked to see the soccer game but all tvs were set to the packers game. The food was good. The halibut was dry but the cod wasn't. It's definitely frozen and then fried so don't expect fresh. I will come back and re-rate their food because I want to try their steaks. I get the feeling that is the real show here. Give these guys a chance! read more

Came here for nostalgic value - our family wanted to reminisce about the good ol' days where my pops grew up, and take a look at my grandma's old house with the wrap around porch. Now about Mustachio's - we stopped in for a quick snack and some drinks. Drinks were great, and the gayer bites (yes, actual Alligator) were much better than I would have ever expected. Similar to chicken yet more flavor! Men's restroom has an interesting sticker on the stall for those who are willing to go and check it out...I don't think it's Yelp appropriate, unfortunately. I love to eat here, I have never had anything I didn't like. The salad bar is small but well stocked and fresh. I tried fried chicken, steak on Tuesday, burgers and fish. The fish portion was small in my opinion, but tasty. Service is excellent and friendly and fast. Highly recommend and I gave it a 4 because of the portion of fish. I have been a fan of the cod and shrimp for years... always amazing. What really has me so happy is that this is the only restaurant (I've tried many!) that will accommodate my dairy free needs instead of just saying they will. I truly appreciate that and will continue to go back often. read more

Husband and I went to just enjoy a few drinks, watch a college football game and throw a few bucks in the TouchTunes. Its a Saturday night and we were inundated with Barry Manilow and the BeeGees playing. This was no issue... We just put some money in TouchTunes and paid extra money to skip a few songs. Nothing heavy or offensive; just some modern rock. Our first song, the volume was turned down and our next song was turned off altogether by the bartender. We wasted our money and our time. Not to mention, the place smells of sewage! What was meant to be a night away from the norm turned out to be a mistake at this place. Horrible service, and staff that basically takes your money if they don't like the music you play. Get rid of TouchTunes if you don't want people to play their own music and actually stay!!! We happened upon this place while traveling from Michigan and wow - what a hidden gem! From the minute we walked in we were made to feel right at home! The food was delicious and the staff were so nice. The owner stopped and chatted with us to make sure we were happy with everything and that was the icing on the cake. Highly recommend! read more

A few reasons for my rating: 1. There were 5 tables full of people outdoors plus 3 more tables full of people indoors but only 1 waitress working. She was very nice and asked that we be patient. Not her fault that she was alone but come on. She also wore her mask on her chin when talking to us. Last I checked, people don't breath through their chins. Wear your mask the right way! 2. We ordered side salads with our meal and the waitress said most of the other tables had also ordered salads so it would be awhile. I was excited thinking it was because the salads were going to be impressive. Instead, after a 20 minute wait, we received our salads and they were pitiful. Tiny handful of iceberg lettuce with 2 cherry tomatoes and a single ring of red onion on top. 20 minutes for that? Yikes. 3. Don't order the buffalo wrap. I have no idea what they think they used for buffalo sauce but it's definitely not that. It would actually be a pretty solid wrap had they used buffalo sauce. On the plus side, prices are great and atmosphere is beautiful, so that's the 2 stars they earn back. read more
