You pay for sedation but he goes from patient to patient and it wears off and youre wide awake and he doesnt wait until it takes affect again before he starts drilling and then has to jab it again. I never got an answer to why I was wide awake and could feel the pain and everything. Previous sedation were not like this one unless it took too long to make crowns. The front office are rude, do not communicate and blow off any concerns with some excuse that makes you feel you did something. They refused to look at my chart and tell me information in it. They've set up appointments but not allowed time for full treatment so you have to come back. They are curt and short andcyou feel shoved out the door. I just refused to reschedule due to lack of communication so there quick text was that they just closed out mine and my husbands accounts after 10 years.

We scheduled the second appointment, I got there and it started out relatively the same, up until a student heard I was getting a RCT and from that point everything changed. At one point, multiple people were hovering around me as if I was an animal on display at the zoo. They did not ask my consent to be watched. The dentist was in and out and once it came time to start working on my teeth I was no longer numb. I screeched in pain and he shoved a numbing needle in my mouth that left an extensive bruise. Lastly, my procedure required antibiotics and they confirmed the pharmacy with me and NEVER sent it in. So now, I'm at risk of turning septic, their office is closed for the holiday, and I have to go to the doctor to receive medication they were supposed to send for. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Save yourself the pain and embarrassment.

I made an appointment to have a bone graft and implant after having a tooth extracted at the…read moredentist that didn't go very well. The tooth was second from the back with a very deep root, which resulted in a lot of the jawbone broken away. This meant there was not enough bone material left for an implant to work well. Before showing up for the appointment, I had to fill out an online form with customary medical information, etc. I like this approach because I can do it at my leisure rather than there at the doctor's office. The check in at the office was quick and in about 15 minutes they were taking x-rays to see what would need to be done. When the x-rays were complete, a gal described to me what I had and what could be done. When I agreed to it, she went out and got Dr. Lamar and he too went over what he thought should be done, the risks, and the likelihood of a good outcome. In short, extraction of a piece of bone from the back of my jaw to be placed as a graft in the place where my tooth had been extracted, and screwed into place there while everything healed. A membrane was to be spun from my own blood and placed over the graft to protect and aid in healing. Throughout all of this, the staff was very friendly. I was then taken back up front to be given an estimate of what the cost would be and schedule a date for the service if I approved. Here I am about 3 weeks later, the surgery went well. Met a couple of different staff members for prep, etc., again, very friendly and courteous. I don't know how long the surgery lasted as I was under general anesthesia and understandably groggy afterwards. So far, everything seems to have gone well. They went over post-op care with my wife so between the two of us, we would know what to do. We were also told to call at any time with questions we my have. So, if you couldn't already tell, I was very pleased with the service. I won't know for about 3 to 4 months whether the graft was successful or not, but I have every confidence that the work that was done was top notch and would highly recommend Dr. Lamar and the staff OKC-OMS.

During my filling my mouth was cut twice and I was told there could be some swelling after but it would heal without stitches. I was sore after once the numbing wore off but thought nothing of it however it only got worse over the weekend and by the 6th I was in excruciating pain so I went to urgent care. Urgent care immediately referred me to the emergency room due to an aggressive infection stemming from the filling. I ended up having an overnight stay with close monitoring to make sure both my baby and I were safe. I had left a massage with the office over the weekend and they called while I was still hospitalized. Dr. Patrick looked at it after the hospital stay and stated the infection should have been impossible as it was a small cavity and there were no signs of infection from the x rays taken that day. They asked what they could do to make it right, I requested the medical bills be covered as this was due to the filling completed in their office. I sent over medical documents as requested and they turned around and stated they would cover nothing. I walked in healthy and left with an aggressive infection that could have killed both my daughter and I yet they refuse to take accountability and I am forced to bear the financial burden for their mistakes. ***To get a comment back about how they care about providing the best experience to their patients is a slap in the face after the experience their office caused. I am so thankful I did! She had over expanded the roof of his mouth to the point he didn't have a bite anymore. I was instructed to have her take it all out immediately. During the removal appointment she was condescending to me the whole time. Asking who I was taking him to etc. She is not an orthodontist. She is a dentist. Go to an orthodontist for braces!
