Omg, is that how she says hello to her customer? I picked out the stuffs my girlfriend sent me here, came to the counter to pay and off course the same grouchy lady helped me. Again, the rudeness just oozed out from her mouth " You don't come back for return understand!". That was it, I just left a bunch of things on her counter and walked out. I didn't bother to say a word to this lady because I refused to teach her any manner, not my job! I gave another store my business and happy with my decision.

Now I do business with them. Customer service is top-notch, possibly because they love my father so they love me. I've always had no issues with the quality of the things we buy. Sometimes they're a little more expensive than other places when it comes to certain canned items and seafood (LAX-C has great prices for seafood) but overall the prices are low. The place is super rundown looking. I don't think they're done a thing to upkeep the place in the twenty years I've been to it but no one hangs around. We show up, get our orders and leave immediately thereafter, so there's no incentive for whomever owns the business to fix it pretty. They do well either way. They're quick with putting your order together, about half an hour after you order it, they have it ready and load it into your car for you. The company has a stern policy against tipping the guys loading your order onto your vehicle, so don't do it. There's complimentary hot coffee when you get there in the mornings. It's something to sip on as you wait on the guys to load your car. They take cash, checks and Visa and MasterCard. I've never had them make a mistake on any of our orders so far and that's something to brag about.

Today my Mom and I were at the food court located at The Square shopping center. There is The…read moreSquare Plus retail store that is also within the food court area... the name is so fitting as the shopping center is called The Square LOL. Anyway, we looked over and saw dustpans. I've been wanting to buy a new dustpan because the old one was damaged when I had to use it to shovel snow a few weeks back when the high desert had a snowstorm. Yes, you read right... I used a dustpan to shovel snow (1st time shoveling snow + using a dustpan to do it) LOL... it wasn't too bad actually. One gray dustpan was $4.49 + tax... not too shabby and it's the sturdy type, too. I didn't check out any other items in the shop, but from what I can tell, they do have some nifty knick knacks, small appliances, general household stuff, etc. It doesn't have a lot of space for customers to walk around though... there are only 2 aisles really... the one closest to the entrance and the one on the other side of the wall LOL. I grabbed one dustpan, waited in line (wait wasn't too bad), and paid cash for it. The lady at the cashier was pleasant. She may have been the owner... not 100% sure though. Pretty cool retail shop…read more Located within the food court, this shop is packed filled with asian appliances like rice cookers, steamers, and water boilers. Great for getting specific asian appliances that are difficult to find on Amazon or other big-chain appliance stores like Best Buy etc. They also sell a lot of little tiny tools, such as cookware etc. Feels kind of like Daiso. Overall, a pretty neat place to visit and check things out!

Whenever I am at the mall with my husband, we always stop by and check out the store. There are usually some seasonal items, which can be nice to purchase. Out of all the Daiso locations I've been to within SGV, this is one of the best ones. It is huge and has basically everything. There are multiple self-checkout stations to speed up the checkout process. Both cash and credit card payment methods are accepted here. Bags do cost 10 cents each. Since this store is located within the shopping mall, there is plenty of parking in the vicinity.
