Have been here several times for the mission burritos. Really nothing special. They are massive. But a really mushy, soupy bomb of greasy yet dull tasting meat, low proportion of cheese and quac. Chorizo, Al Pastor and Carnitas are the meats we have tried. The Carnitas have been like watery stew meat - not crispy at all. Al pastor is the best of these three. Bottom line is the burritos are pretty much like those from all the other South Seattle roach coaches. Giving them one extra star as they are super nice people. The woman who runs this truck is the absolute sweetest. I've been going to Muy Macho for about 10 years at this point and have a hard time going anywhere else. Based on service alone, I've come to love this South Park staple. Onto the food! The food is amazing. I've never tasted something I didn't love here. Part of the magic is the salsa. I challenge you to find a habanero salsa as good at another truck. I savor the last bits from the containers for a catch all spread for my own work sandwiches. If she sold the salsas alone I think she'd make a killing. To the reviewer who is pissy about the owner and the homeless people around the truck? Cool your fucking jets with your contempt for people who have less than you and maybe if you pulled the stick out of your ass you'd get the amazing service I have for the past 10 years. read more

Bucked a U-turn for this taco truck. Delicious veggie tacos with flavor packed spicy sauce. My BF got the Al Pastor tacos which I don't have a photo of because it's in his stomach already but he said, "I never had tacos until I had THESE tacos." Head on over to SouthPark and find yourself in the Curiosity Shop parking lot with a few other lunchtime folks waiting for one of the best burritos from a taco truck in the city! They're super fast, the size of a football, and completely made to order! I will be the first to tell you that the "Orange Salsa" is very hot! Very hot! I could not agree more with the previous reviewer about how sweet the people who run the Muy Macho truck are. I have been a Muy Macho fan for about 6 years and the owners have always been nice and welcoming. But enough about how nice they are, what people really want to know is...how good is the food? My usual order is 4 chicken tacos and let me tell you, they are the best taco truck tacos in the area. The chicken is seasoned and chopped into chunks, which is different from almost every truck (and taqueria) in the area where the chicken is ground and already doused in salsa. To me, that makes a huge difference. Speaking of salsa, I like mine spicy and their orange salsa really hits the spot! read more

It is hard to find good Mexican food, and this is the best I've had in Seattle, or all of WA for that matter. The chile relleno is my favorite, if I'm lucky enough to get some before it sells out. However, everything on the menu is delicious. It is reasonably priced, and the owners are incredibly friendly with great service every time. read more
