We went for a girls weekend, best experience! My hair has never felt to Amazing and we were all so relaxed. We'll be doing it again soon!

I'm really disappointed with my experience today. I scheduled this appointment expecting to see Mika, but no one told me she wasn't available until I was already changed into my bath robe and ready for the session. I had to ask if Mika was coming, and that's when I was told she was fully booked and busy. If I had known that beforehand, I would not have stayed. I live three hours away and specifically came expecting to have my appointment with Mika. During the service, water also got into my ear and I'm still trying to get it out, which has been very uncomfortable. My first visit here was a great experience, which is why several of my family members also come here now. Unfortunately, today's visit was very disappointing and I honestly couldn't wait for the session to be over. Just wanted to mention that the owner told me Mika had a family emergency and had to leave early, but that was not was the therapist said to me beforehand. I will say I'm glad my hubby was able to get Eva, since she was the other person we originally requested. They offered me a complimentary service with Mika for next visit, but honestly it is not worth the stress or the drive after what I went through. Lesson learned. This is the best headspa in all of Orlando! If you're curious about those Asian headspa experiences on social media or are just passionate about self-care or scalp health, this is THE spot. Came here for a girls day with my mom and grandma, and we LOVED it. There were some snags with making an appointment, but the experience here really made up for initial confusion. Our technicians definitely knew what they were doing, and we all left refreshed, relaxed, and felt very pampered. The head, neck, and shoulder massages were skillfully done, and I really appreciated the face and neck mask. I actually came in with a tension headache, and it was gone by the end of service. The headspa service also includes a blow-dry, oxygen scalp treatment, a microcurrent scalp treatment. They have a grand opening special right now for their Meditation Healing Treatment and I definitely recommend that. They also have a Spa Membership that comes out to $69/month where you can choose from a wide menu of spa services (including the head spa). You do have to pay in-full upfront, but I think it's a very fair deal. After my experience with the headspa, I'm definitely interested in looking into some of their other beauty services as well. Overall, Muyan is an amazing addition to the Orlando beauty treatment scene, and I highly recommend it. read more

Absolutely life-changing. I booked an appointment for a cleansing scalp treatment and the experience was 10/10. As we walked in we were greeted by the front-end personnel and were given complimentary tea and slippers to change into. The treatment was 50 minutes and worth every penny. I had been wanting to try a head spa for quite some time and Muyan Spa was the best place for the vibe, price, and all you get included from waterfall hydrotherapy, scalp gua sha, neck/shoulder massage, scalp steam massage, everything was wonderful. I've never left an appointment and immediately burst into tears before but I guess there's a first for everything. First off, if you have curly hair RUN away from this place as fast as you can as they have no idea what they're doing with it and will just leave you feeling bad about your natural texture and with MATTED hair !!! The lady just kept saying it wasn't "easy" to deal with and I eventually felt bad so I told her she doesn't have to brush it then. Mind you, I conditioned AND brushed my hair the morning of! After her just stopping & not touching my hair altogether or talking I finally said I'm sorry I don't understand what's going on and she went to get the receptionist who explained to me that she won't be able to wash my hair all the way in the 80 min timeframe... ok?? I couldn't relax the whole time and when it came to brushing it oh jeez she tried brushing it without even holding my head and kept throwing the brush down !! And then proceeded to blow dry it. GIRL you don't blow dry curly hair unless you want me to walk out looking absolutely insane. Which I ended up doing anyways even though I said I didn't need it. Not to mention her phone kept vibrating on my massage table. And neither her or the receptionist asked me how it was because they knew I would be dealing with a mess when I got home. What a wonderful experience! We had excellent service with Lee and Mika. Every part of this experience was exceptional! The sound bowl, the head massage & water temperature, the neck & shoulder massage, just WOW! It was a wonderful treat and I will be coming back every couple of months for a treatment.
