I had such a great experience at the spa at The Ritz-Carlton, it felt like a full day of relaxation from start to finish. Getting there was super easy. You can valet at the front, and as long as you have your ticket validated, parking is complimentary, which is a nice perk. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming. We were greeted right away and offered a quick tour of the facilities (optional, but I'd recommend it), then taken to the locker rooms where everything was set up for us, lockers, robes, and spa shoes. The amenities are honestly next-level. They had everything you could think of: q-tips, combs, brushes, hair dryers, hairspray, shower steamers, sugar scrubs, you name it. There was also a lounge area stocked with water and light snacks, which made it easy to relax before and after services. I booked a 50-minute relaxation massage with Shelly, and she was amazing. She made me feel completely comfortable from the start, and the experience felt very personalized. Before beginning, they have you smell two different aromatherapy oils to see what your body needs, which was such a thoughtful touch. The massage itself was incredible, I would absolutely book with her again. Afterward, we spent time enjoying the rest of the amenities, especially the pool. The pool area is beautiful, with plenty of chairs and umbrellas. The staff really goes above and beyond, they set you up with a covered chair and even drape a towel to create a pillow for you. Service wise, this is 5 stars all the way, This was my first spa experience and Tatyana took great care of me during my two treatment sessions. This tiny Eastern European woman was a powerhouse with the massage and I had to have her ease up a few times. The staff was also attentive and wonderful throughout the experience. Where this falls short for me is the atmosphere. When I think Ritz Carlton, I think of the buttery crackers and the Carlton dance from Fresh Prince. After that though, I think luxury and opulence. However, I felt this spa to be a bit clinical to me. Am I in a rehab or treating myself to something amazing? The massage rooms themselves had the same feel... like a treatment room vs. a serene massage environment. Luckily, my eyes were closed most of the time, so it didn't matter much. I feel with different lighting, I would feel exactly like a doctor's office. The inside men's area had a sauna, steam room, hot tub and cold plunge and the area just felt more like a healthcare rehab facility than a luxury spa. The pool and cafe were excellent. The Ritz spa has been on my Orlando bucket list for years. I've had so many friends tell me that it's the best spa experience they've ever had and all their awards & accolades are proof that it lives up to the hype. I knew the day I finally decided to go would be a splurge, and I finally made it happen. I saw the summer specials they were running this month and knew this was a deal I needed to take advantage of. I was able to book an appointment only a few days out for their summer custom facial (50 mins) and their summer stress relief massage (50 mins). Each of these services were priced under $200 which iykyk these prices are unheard of at the Ritz. The spa has 3 levels with the private pool, Vitale cafe, and fitness center on level 1. Level 2 is where you find the men's & women's locker rooms, relaxation areas, & all the amenities. And level 3 is where are the treatment rooms are. Upon entering I was given a locker with a cozy robe and sandals. The facilities were immaculate with multiple changing rooms, vanity areas, bathrooms, steam room, sauna, whirlpool, balcony overlooking the pool, showers, complimentary snacks and Nespresso coffee, and relaxation areas. I was instructed to head upstairs about 5 minutes before my scheduled treatments to wait to meet my therapist. My massage was first which was very relaxing & soothing with medium to firm pressure. I definitely felt de-stressed afterwards. Then, next up was my facial which was my favorite part. I've only ever had a handful of facials in my life, but wow, this one was superior. My skin looked/felt/smelled amazing afterwards. It also included the most incredible neck, shoulder, and scalp massage. Definitely booking a facial the next time I visit! I was offered complimentary champagne after each of my services which was so nice. I then headed down to the private spa pool (18+ only/no children) to enjoy lunch from the Vitale Cafe. They offer poolside service as well as seated restaurant service. The spa pool was so peaceful & quiet. I'd suggest making sure you have at least 5-6 hours to fully enjoy the full spa experience & all the amenities without feeling rushed. I was there for 6 and honestly, I could have stayed longer. I was really excited to give this place a try as I was traveling for business and needed a relaxing service. Check in was easy and friendly and so was the staff at the lockers. Some of the lockers could use a refresh- a ton were broken or looked dirty. The quiet room and the shower area was quiet and relaxing and seemed to have all the amenities you would want (hair brushes you could take with you, comfy robes, plastic slippers). I brought my own slippers because I feel weird reusing slippers. Now waiting for the services- you sit in a large room and they come to pull you. 8 minutes after 2 (when I was scheduled) someone came around asking for names and they pulled almost everyone in the room except me. When someone finally came to get me, turns out my original provider had already taken someone else. Now my massage itself- felt good and was good but it was the most unrelaxing stress relief massage ever. Look, I am a newbie massage gal so perhaps I could have asked the masseus to not talk as much but the whole she was chatty and also a bit combative depending on the topic. When I asked about the extra $35 foot relaxing thing I got, she said it was "bs" and was literally a scrub and massage that lasted 2 minutes (I get longer at the nail salon). If her skills weren't great, I would say it was one of the most unrelaxing and expensive massages of my life. The extra facilities you get like the indoor hot tub and sauna/steam room are ok. I wish they had another room like a salt room or fun shower or something. The perk to use the spa pool was almost worth the massage stress- its gorgeous with great service and nice touches (Coola sunscreen, electrolytes, tons of water). Went here for their robot machine, and was pleasantly surprised! Does it beat a traditional massage? No. But there were definitely a lot of times where it pressed on an amazing spot with it's micro-movements and I was audible in the relief I felt (which I don't think I would ever do with a real masseuse cause embarrassingggg). In terms of what to expect, you can valet your car at the main lobby, and walk about 3-5 minutes to the Ritz Spa (they'll validate your valet parking when you leave). It's a beautiful resort so I enjoyed the walk there. Once you get to the spa reception, they'll confirm your appointment, and bring you to the robot massage. You'll have to slip into their body tight outfit, and once you do, the receptionist (for your first time) will guide you through the robot prompts which is laid under the headrest for you to view and , which does a body scan, adjusts the headrest, and explains some safety items. You can also customize your pressure! I'd like to consider myself a medium pressure dude but I'd recommend going all the way up since they can only go so deep. After the customization, the robot does it's thing, and you can follow it's progression. You can "love" when it's doing a certain part but I honestly don't know what that does, it seems to follow through with it's set agenda for your time slot without deviating. There is an emergency button if you want to stop the robot at any time. The best part is that after you're done, you get to utilize the whole facility! This includes the locker/lounge (coffee and tea were great, but food offerings could have been better with a larger variety), outdoor pool, indoor sauna/steam room/whirlpool, and fitness room. I spent another two hours just exploring and enjoying the extra facility before taking a shower and heading home. It was a great spa day! read more

A private pool (18 years and older) is heated to about 83 degrees. They provide complimentary sun screen (SPF 50 + 30 + 15) and aloe. They have staff to set up your chairs, and servers to take your cocktail and food order. The food is AMAZING! I had the tuna bowl and skinny margarita. DELICIOUS !! The Pedicure is such wonderful experience, I was incredibly relaxed the entire time! Elisa is the BEST! She provides FIVE star service. She's extremely knowledgeable about nail health and does a wonderful job. She offered me something to drink, and my leg/ foot massage was to die for! I honestly booked services here for what I expected to be an exclusive experience. Although both my massage and pedicure services were great, the spa and relaxation areas were beyond overcrowded. Never would I have imagined that this place would be crowded to a point where almost every single seat in the waiting room was occupied. Additionally, the whirlpool was full of people as well. You can't truly relax in a crowded place and a place such as the Ritz should not book themselves to a point where their guests are uncomfortable. The nail area was the only area that was quiet. Overall a great spa! I arrived early to take advantage of all of the amenities. After grabbing a coffee I headed out to the pool and secured my spot. The pool attendant Morgan was extremely helpful, kind, and hardworking. Juan came to take my order when Vitale opened. I recommend the Green Matcha-Ine smoothie. It was delicious! Juan was very attentive all day and frequently came by to ask if I needed anything. Inside the women's section of the second floor is an indoor hot spa, sauna, eucalyptus steam room, as well as showers, restrooms, and changing rooms. I went in and out of the sauna, steam room, and hot spa a few times. Before my massage I figured it would be best to take a shower. I was pleased to find shower aromatherapy steam cubes as well as body scrub, but my shower was halted when I turned on the water and realized the shower wasn't draining. Yuck! Not something I expected at the Ritz. I was totally grossed out and turned off. I notified a woman at the front desk of the issue and just decided to wait around until my massage. How can you give anything less than 5 stars to a gift such as a spa day at The Ritz? The answer is probably, you can't. I was given the treat of a Relaxation Massage. Any service you book gives you access to the full spa. Which makes this experience a total package. You can enjoy multiple relaxation rooms, the spa pool, have free use of showers, and can use the lockers all day (this came in handy!). In addition to spa services and overall decadence they also give little treats and water bottles (all safely individually packaged). Due to COVID the sauna and steam rooms are currently closed. My masseuse was named Sherry. I opted for the eucalyptus and peppermint oil. It was "invigorating" as she would describe and "bdjkabdeiskcbs ahhh handshake" as I would describe when I lost use of words because I was feeling just so relaxed. I appreciated that she took time to understand my comfort level with pressure and that she didn't try to talk to me. Instead, allowing me to well, relax. It was definitely a more gentle massage than I am used to. I really loved the attention on lymphatic areas. The front of my neck and hips especially. I asked her to spend extra attention on my wrists and hands because you know #PhoneEatsFirst and #LiveLoveYelp life leaves me with all the carpal tunnel. My favorite part of this spa experience was the robe... it was plush and wonderful without being heavy and sweaty considering it's summer in Florida. Something to note is that the layout of the spa is a little confusing, there are a lot of doors and many stairs. Never again! Not at all happy or impressed. I must say i was at the Ritz Spa about 5 years ago and had the best experience. I visited again recently and it was terrible! First off, I booked online and confirmed. I called on my way to the Spa to make sure everything was in order and that i was celebrating a friends birthday. It was confirmed. They said they could accommodate with Champagne and Chocolate covered strawberries and looked forward to having us. When we arrived they could not find my reservation, when they did it was a month later. They tried to accommodate since we had traveled and was already there. I asked for 1 male, one female. It was a couples massage. As we waited in the lounge, our champagne arrived as we were being rushed into our massage, 2 ladies. We just have had the on call, last minute crew. The ladies were rude, we had the worst massage i have ever had, they knew nothing about anatomy, we both requested deep tissue, I had a woman who just put extreme pressure in various areas and when i requested another way she became frustrated with me, I kept telling her it hurt and she would huff and just move to another area, the other woman was barely felt and my friend fell asleep. ‍ I frequent many upscale and local massages, this by far was my worst experience. I paid for 1 hour and we received 27 min. The one massage lady tried to cover the clock as we were finishing by turning it around, i had already looked at the time and i questioned our time, she responded with. "no no, you got the time you purchased"- i was already irritated and chose not to fight it, made no sense. Figured i would speak to a manager after. She had a very thick accent and was very rude. The other lady was timid and quiet. The room had wallpaper peeling off the wall. Looked like a basic extra room with no ambience. No chocolate strawberries and no champagne! I was very embarrassed by this treatment as it was a gift to my friend who was so deserving. I wish we could have enjoyed our time better but there were areas being cleaned and others under repair totally irritating my whole experience! When i walked to the desk to "pay" i requested the manager and when i explained our awful experience she was only willing to take 10% off our bill. Nothing else accommodated for our "UnSpa" experience that they offer. I paid $600 hard earned cash dollars for embarrassment and aggravation! I had to make up the day to my friend for the birthday costing me more. I will never return. They have also lost business from friends since they value my opinion! To be clear I do not leave bad reviews, everyone has good and bad days but I'm still a bit upset and feel so bad for what could have been a lovely time! Everything in my previous review below is still applicable, but I have now been to this spa a few more times and have found the cafe service to be quick and attentive. In fact, this last time I only had 40 minutes before I needed to be back upstairs for my salon appointment and let the server know as he greeted us. He got us our food in record time (ahi tuna tacos, chicken lettuce wraps, and two smoothies) and had us out of there fully fed in less than 30 mins. Beyond that, the facilities are beyond compare. I've now been to most of the hotel spas in the area and have yet to find one with all of these amenities. The most appealing thing I haven't seen elsewhere is the adults-only pool that is just for people who are at the spa. This is a game changer. It's a relaxing pool experience with very few people, towel and poolside cafe services, and complimentary sunscreen and aloe, should you need. This adults pool is so serene and everyone there is enjoying the spa as well. So, yup! Had to update this review since I've been to many more spas and this is my favorite in Orlando. They were seriously understaffed and it took about 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge us (we had to get up and grab our own menus after a while). Every step of the meal took much longer than expected because the servers were just not around. We finally had to flag another server down for our check and even then had to wait another 15 minutes for them to grab it from us and then again to get our card back. The food was good but we probably would skip the cafe next time because it took us well over an hour to get a light bite and had us rushing to make out massage time. In the end, it was a perfect birthday surprise and my husband and I agreed that this spa day needs to be more than a once-in-a-blue-moon occurrence. Having the name Ritz and it's prices, I truly expected more. Space was nice, nothing extra... shower facilities were old and outdated, you can tell the place needs renovating. My massage therapist was WONDERFUL, they were busy and I was skeptical about having male therapist but he was extremely professional. Also have to say my massage was not 50 min. I sent a txt to my husband at 9:03 and put phone in locker to head to massage room. I walked back into the relaxation area at 9:48. Felt annoyed to say the least, I mean I am paying for those glorious minutes I was every single one of them. Massage room itself was cold and needed some ambiance music as well as some scent (lavender perhaps). Was kind of turned off when I walked in the room and there was a floor fan in there I'm not sure why - like one of those black ugly ones!! I mean come on, your not a Hilton spa.. invest on a dyson silent fan if you extremely need one in there. First time having a spa service at a Ritz-Carlton hotel. On vacay came here with 6 other people for a spa day. I have to say they have excellent service here. When we arrived at our appointment, our masseuses or masseurs were already present welcoming us near the front entrance. They showed us to our locker room where we changed and they directed us to our rooms. There's an open space where you can lounge after you have your massage. There's tea, coffee, dark chocolate covered almonds, and white chocolate covered pretzels. You can use the whirlpool, steam room, or hangout at the pool area. It's really nice and relaxing. If you're hungry, you can order food at the poolside when the staff comes to you to take your order. They also have a pool guy who sets up your chair and towels. read more

I called several times I left my information and no response I reached out on Twitter where I was asked to leave my information in the direct message and after I did I promptly waited and still once again silence, crickets nothing, no response this has been beyond disappointing! just a backstory I ,like the rest of the country had my head down and been pushing through for the entire year trying to get through this pandemic and finally after receiving a vaccine my husband and I decided to give ourselves a much-needed long overdue vacation after a year and a half of essentially hiding out in trying to stay healthy- we were headed to Orlando for a much needed and very much appreciated week to relax and reset...I wanted to set up a mini day spa excursion for myself and him something along the lines of a couples massage etc. I had visited their website read over the information and called to make an appointment first day call ,no answer second day called again no answer, third day called again and it rang and it rang and rang finally answered but I would assume it was by the front desk... not a problem they took down my information and said someone would return my call as soon as possible that was over a week ago I finally decided; maybe someone in the social media department can Step in and they'll; get me connected so I tweeted and the response was immediate and my reply was shortly there after... you would think that their response to me would have been right away?! WRONG here we are once again crickets, nothing, no reply, and now I feel as if I'm actively being ignored. This frustrates me immensely because I too am a business owner OF A SPA! and knowing how important these special days are for my clients and how much They look forward to it, I bend over backwards to do everything to help create and experience their special day . I am extremely disappointed just wanted to share and I hope those who try to make and create these "Ritz moments & memories" that they talk about have better luck then I did. PS as a business owner I know the importance of a good reputation The success of my 16 yr business is the product of a word-of-mouth environment and gratefully so ! having said that I also know every situation can't be a perfect one so, I let a lot of things slide or give the enormous benefit of the doubt ...but then there just comes a time when ya say enough is enough and this is one of those . Great massage today after a long flight. This place is amazing. What's great about going to a hotel and getting a spa service is the ability to use the amenities the whole day. Whether you decide to have a morning session or late afternoon session, plan on using the facilities. Their spa pool is massive plenty of privacy, peace and quiet. Something you would expect while at a spa. Before your appointment then you can relax in the jacuzzi, eucalyptus steam room and the sauna. Loosen up those muscles before getting you massage, or open up your poorer before your facial. The best was using the ice cold towels with cucumbers while in the steam room and sauna. The place is beautiful and quiet. There is a relaxation room after your service. Prior to you appointment there is a relaxing station. While relaxing you can hydrate with flavored water, and there is a choice of herbal tea as well. When showering they also provide a body scrub you can use. This is a great place to enjoy the spa. So far for me the best hotel spa I've experienced. Mostly because I have never seen such a big pool for a spa pool. At other spas clients are too close to each at the pool spa. I was shocked at how large the pool area was here at The Ritz in Orlando. Maybe it's because I'm from Hawaii and on the islands there's limited space so everything is smaller. Regardless of where you're staying in Orlando, I suggest trying the spa at The Ritz Carlton. You will not be disappointed. read more

I had landed in Orlando early in the morning and my checkin time wasn't until 4pm. I needed a place I could relax on my own until then. I decided to treat myself to a spa day. You can book online or over the phone. There is free parking that is included in the day spa, you just need the ticket validated in the lobby on your way out. I had booked myself a pedicure. It is definitely pricer than other places, however you are then granted entrance to use the amenities (pool, sauna, steam room) for as long as you desire. You can arrive before your appointment. You are provided a locker with a keypad, robe, and slippers. The place is so beautiful and tranquil. The employees really make this such a pleasant experience. Everyone is so kind here. The grounds are gorgeous. Lay by the pool and take a dip when the heat gets overwhelming. There is sunscreen that is provided, if you forgot yours. There is also a large supply of lemon water available to keep yourself hydrated. The waitresses come by to take orders for food if you desire to have some lunch poolside. There are small snacks provided inside the spa, which included fruit, nuts, fried fruit, and chocolate covered pretzels. Theres also an abundance of delicious teas to choose from. They really thought of every detail here. There is a wonderful body scrub made in house that I highly recommend using when showering. They provide shower caps, combs, razor, shampoo, conditioner, and even mouth wash. If you forgot your deodorant, no worries, they got you covered. Need a Q-tip? its provided. I spent 5 hours here, and I could have spent even more. I highly recommend this place if you need to unwind and relax. It is also a nice place for a girls day, or couples date. 20% gratuity is added on to the spa service automatically, so keep this in mind. My wife and I enjoyed the spa at the Ritz-Carlton, the building itself is beautiful and large. The locker room, sauna, steam room, weight room, and shared services were great. My husband and I came to the spa as part of his birthday celebration. The staff were so accommodating and friendly and gave us multiple glasses of champagne throughout the day to celebrate. We received a deep-tissue couples' massage and facials. The treatments were wonderful and the spa facilities were well-appointed. If you purchase a treatment, you are allowed to use the spa facilities (eg gym, sauna, pool, hot tub, showers, etc) for the day. Complementary coffee, tea and snacks are available throughout the spa and we also enjoyed lunch and cocktails at the spa café. We will definitely be back! I booked this for my birthday. We did a couples massage and then the couples bath. We went pretty much as soon as we could. Definately go before your arrival window to relax. Comfort and class from the moment we got out. Valet parking included. Take the ticket for validation. Separate men women's area with lush robes and shoes. Then the common waiting area is up 1 flight of stairs or elevator. Blankets awate and comfy couches and chairs. Tea and coffee with infused water available with light snacks. The professionalism was on point and loved the massage. Then they took us to the shower room where our bath whirl pool tub was filled with lots of soapy suds and rose petals greeting us at the door and on top of the water. Also had towels on the tub to cushion our head turned the jets on and had cold water and cold towels ready in case we got too hot. Shower there to rinse off if needed. They dressing rooms have nice lockers and longe chairs inside. Hot tub and sauna. Or you have access to the outside longe area and salt water pool and hot tub. Sunscreen and water available with attendants to check on you. We stayed as long as we could and fell asleep by the pool. It was the absolute best and ready for my next session. Great piece of property 20 minutes from Disney and Universal Studios. Staff is so good. Club level Is fantastic. Good odds great. You can get your bags weighed before the flight. Cold water always available. Pool tables downstairs and shuffle board available. What else could to this experience. Fantastic place for great service and a place to get away.
