Our daughter was married on July 19th of this year at Ethereal Gardens (another 5 star review) and Eric was our deejay. He was amazing. There was live music during cocktail hour, which set the tone and we heard wonderful comments about the talent. He made the entire reception flow flawlessly. Even when we had a hiccup (it took the bridesmaids a while to figure out how to bustle the wedding gown!), no guests even knew as Eric kept the reception running. Eric and his team came recommended to us by our photographer, but we already had our eye on him from the great reviews we saw and they couldn't be more right. We hired Eric as our officiant, MC, DJ services and photobooth services. His prices are extremely reasonable and he met with us several times (in person and on the phone) to touch base throughout the process. As officiant, he had great attention to detail (getting info from our BM and MOH about personal details to add to the ceremony script) and even incorporating our theme! He made great suggestions to help us personalize our vows and walked us through the marriage license process. As MC and for DJing, he and his team did a great job with our cross culture wedding (Vietnamese and Filipino) and getting the dance floor filled. He took careful attention to the songs we really wanted to play and even recommended great stuff to add which we didn't think of. The photobooth his team provided was super fun and full of props. Eric and the MUZZii team were phenomenal! They were everything we had hoped for in a DJ package for our wedding in June. My husband and I were looking for a DJ that understood what we were looking for, played the music we liked, and created an atmosphere of celebration and fun! They were it! From the day of booking until even after the wedding, Eric was always available via phone and/or email. This team is so professional and with it! They understand the workings of a wedding and a great party! They were able to read the guests at our wedding and keep the dance floor full the entire night. We wanted an Emcee that was behind the scenes, but was also able to keep the night rolling, Eric was just that. Eric and his team are truly exceptional at what they do. From the very first phone call I had with Eric to the days leading up to the wedding, he was on top of any request I had and executed our wedding timeline exactly how we wanted it. You never realize how many logistics are involved with a wedding day, but having a dedicated person who keeps the event flowing as scheduled, but still keeping it very fun, is vital. His style is very fun as well, not monotone or boring, but still staying in the background enough to not detract from any of the events. The perfect balance. When it came to the actual music played, we gave a Spotify playlist for each of the main parts of the wedding, like the cocktail hour, dinner time, and dancing time. We also gave exact songs we wanted played for important moments, like first dance, walking down the aisle, cake cutting, that sort of thing. He made them all flow into each other so well, and played them for the perfect amounts of time. When it came time for the party dancing, we had another two DJs other than Eric, and they kept the dance floor PACKED. I did not think our wedding was going to be such a dance heavy wedding, but it totally was and was the most fun time we've ever had. They played many of the songs on our playlist, and played different songs we didn't have on the list and absolutely crushed it with their song choices. We would request songs, and they would instantly play them next which was so fun. I've been to so many weddings where they say they take requests, but then they never play your song you request. The DJs had such a young energy, which is another thing I've noticed at other weddings, is a lot of the time they are quite a bit older, so a little disconnected from what our favorite songs are to play. I highly recommend for anyone in their late 20s, which was our group. Friends who attended who are planning their wedding asked for our DJs name because of what a great job they did. My main criteria in selecting a DJ: non-cheesy, stays off the mic unless absolutely necessary, "gets" our musical style enough to put together a killer playlist without being micromanaged. Both Eric (owner) and Garrison (our DJ) were present at our wedding to make sure everything went smoothly, and the sound was excellent for ceremony, reception, toasts, etc. They were a delight to work with. We had our wedding at Shadowridge Country Club on April 22, 2017. Our wedding day couldn't have been any more amazing and a lot of it was because of Eric and his team! I knew since the first day I spoke with Eric that they would be able to do everything we asked of them. We really wanted a DJ that could do both live (for ceremony) and DJ (for dancing).
