I described the problem and sent a short video illustrating the flickering. Chase thought it was most probably a connection issue and quoted a minimal and very reasonable price for the repair. (Other electricians who responded to the project request provided estimates ranging from twice that of Local Electrical to TEN TIMES as much.) Chase was able to come today along with his partner R., and fixed the connection issue in just a few minutes. Chase and R. were friendly and respectful, and very professional. Just like the first time we used 2A, Jeremiah showed up promptly on the scheduled time and installed everything without any issues. The fact we hired them twice in a matter of 2 months should be a testament to the great work, but in case it's not, I echo my first review. Prompt replies, good price, great service. Also a bonus he's a veteran (thank you for your service). Plain and simple, 2A is reliable, does great work, trustworthy, honest, and fair pricing. My mistake for not asking what's the minimum for a house call, mostly because I've never had someone charge me a full hour and limit the work to only the one thing I had called about if that one thing took a whomping 20 minutes. Furthermore, at $150/hr minimum whether that one thing you called about took 5 mins or 60 mins (more $ if it takes longer), I question how people define "affordable" these days. That's double my regular electrician's rate and my regular electrician would be willing to do other simple stuff for me if that initial troubleshooting takes significantly less than 60 mins. oh well, lesson learned.

Easy to work, sweet to my dog, helpful beyond the call of duty! Example 1: I have never seen anyone who works in the plumbing, electric, repair or home service CLEAN UP after themselves. The plumber leaves boxes, fix the window there's all sorts of dirt to clean up. NOT with these guys. Example 2: a stray kitty i have been trying to care for killed a huge mouse and left it on the porch, they removed the mouse just because they didn't mind. Example 3: I felt safe and as if I could trust these guys so much that I left my house while they were working. Finding Intrinsic Electric, JACKPOT!!! 5 stars for David and Joel. Both of these men are committed to all the best qualities of being courteous, professional and accommodating to their customers. Joel pointed out some issues that needed addressing and instead of "winging it" he got on his phone with some colleagues (one came by in person to consult) who knew the answers and double checked with at least one county inspector for verification. Keeping me from having to deal with any later headaches or repercussions. Doing it right the first time! I did only get to see Joel in action for one day but it was a great first impression. David was able to find a stand in worker (Lauren - He gets a 5 as well) who was every bit as friendly, knowledgeable and professional. David is a polite, professional, patient, thorough, knowledgeable, expert! David listens well and makes educated recommendations. He showed as much concern for my project and my home as I do.
