We couldn't do same day, so we met the following morning. Just as hoped, the guy kept it straightforward, honest, helpful and as described. A little context: Originally Sears was out (yes, they still exist). Having repaired a few refrigerators, garage doors and operator control boards myself over the years, I knew things weren't right with these Sears guys (yes, plural -- well, one in training, poor sod). They weren't dishonest, really, just excessive. Especially with cost (...pretty obviously constrained by dinosaur policy -- what felt geared towards getting a fleeced customer to buy a new appliance from Sears). The Sears guys estimated a four-figure two-man project, including for two off-the-shelf generic machine screws, $37 each, parts only. (Still had to pay them for coming out.) Bless their little hearts. I can see how people get bamboozed by this blue-shirted Sears "professionalism". Hearing good things, I contacted Daniil. And in a little more than a day, paid an eighth of the price for way more, better, no-nonsense, good natured, in-and-out service. With warranty. He was back 2 days later with the replacement part to repair our dishwasher. Service was fast, professional, and reasonably priced for the quality of work provided.

I…read morecalled EaZy Appliance (repair company) and and informed them of the issue as well as the code that the washer produced to help trouble shoot the issue. The lady who I was speaking with at EaZy did not ask any other questions other than when they could first come out and how much the service call would be ($90). After setting an appointment (the first available was 3 days later) and finishing the call I thought it was strange that she did not ask any further questions regarding the washer model number or any other details. I figured they probably now what the code meant and was able to fix it as the manufactures site provided in depth detail. After the diagnostic visit I was informed it would be 3 weeks for the part to come in. The next day I called back as I was able to locate the parts from another appliance repair company in the area. When I called back to see if they would accept the parts (original manufacture parts), I got the same lady who seemed like she could care less that that I was in a bind and that I could not go 3 weeks without a washing machine. Anyway she informed me that they would not guarantee the work if they used parts other than theirs. Since I was in a bind I was willing to take the chance and move forward with them using the parts I found. The technician who came to the house was pleasant and informative however after continuing to talk to her it was clear that they she could care less so I decided to not move forward. Instead I called the other company in the area and cut my ties with EaZy Appliance and paying them $90 for what the error code already told me. This was a learning experience when dealing with an appliance repair company. The error code showed 3 possible issues and the diagnosis was one of the 3 listed. Make sure you ask if they stock parts for your appliance before forking out cash for a tech to visit without the parts. If you are looking for an appliance repair company in the area, go somewhere else that actually seems to care!

After a week they got me on their schedule and arrived saying they had the wrong part. THE SAME THING happened the next week. The problem is, they won't order your part until you pay in full. I was without my appliance for a month waiting on them. I ended up stopping payment on my credit card and hiring someone else and it took them 2 days to do everything and it was 1/3 of the cost.

The woman did not explain how HE washers are not the same as the machines we have all known for years. The machine makes most of the choices for you even though the selector indicates you can choose water temp and wash cycle. It was 3 weeks after delivery until I was able to use the machine (damn cancer) and did only three loads that did not come clean. The problem is that when we complained, the woman Gina became defensive, sarcastic and rude to the point of hanging up on me, claiming she explained everything clearly, and accused that if my husband did not know about clothes washers, he should not have shopped alone! The owner, Gina's husband does not take calls from customers! Their store Richards sells used reconditioned machines, so it is possible they could take it back without too much of a loss. You would like to think that a family operation could be helpful and compassionate... Our shopping at their store supports the lifestyle they have become accustomed to. Other sites show positive reviews as all went well. Just do not have a problem or complaint with your purchase with these people!
