I ordered a toy chest for my granddaughter for Christmas and added her name only to personalize the toy chest. There was a section that was a default birthday, and they added that which was wrong. I did not choose that date however when I called customer service that made me pay for the changes to the top piece of the toy chest. *****Buyer beware of default birthday when ordering this item. They could have sent me a courtesy replacement but they charged me $25 plus shipping. I will not order from this company again. read more

It was just as i ordered in the email confirmation with the preview as all in purple. Some reason they did the hearts in black. I ordered a beautiful toy box for a baby gift and paid $149.99 plus $21.99 for shipping. The package arrived quickly via Fed Ex, there was a tiny chip on the side panel (which I was going to ignore) my husband could touch it up. When he started to put it together he found that there were two holes drilled with a "3" hole bracket. Since it was a custom toy box with a name on it, he proceeded to drill the missing holes. I contacted customer service and the response I got was "Maybe our assembly directions are outdated" if so, then why did they send a "3" hole hinge? I asked for compensation on the item and it took them 3 days to respond, with a $20 credit...seriously??? All this money spent and my husband had to do the repairs? I am very disappointed in the company and the customer service. read more

The customer service here is great. I ordered personalized book ends for my sons room through Amazon. After receiving my item, while putting it together I found that the holes on one side of the book end were drilled backwards and did not match up correctly. After contacting Amazon about the issue I immediately received an email directly from Don at the business apologizing to me. I was also reassured that my item would be replaced no questions asked. Don asked me to send photos of the defective item because the feedback is important to him to ensure the best customer experience. I sent photos, was thanked again for my business and told my item replacement would be shipped immediately. This business was great to deal with and definitely made me feel like a valued customer. Awful awful awful customer service! I'm not sure who taught these people how to run a business!! I purchased 3 rocking chairs for a total order of just over $400. When I checked out my shipping charges were $23. I get a call 3 days later saying there's a shipping surcharge of $40 and that I would have to pay for it because someone obviously had to pay the shipping and she wasn't willing to eat that cost. My response was essentially that I never should have even received this phone call given the amount of business they were getting in one shot & that if that was their shipping policy it should have auto populated on their website, I shouldn't be receiving a call days later telling me you want me to pay more! I actually would never have had an issue if the shipping had populated as being $60 on the website at checkout but to receive such a phone call is absurd! As a business you can either charge shipping based on cost of the item which is what they advertise they do, or you can charge by weight/size but you can't have it both ways so that you're making out on the shipping when the item is smaller but expensive, but then changing your business plan when the shipping would cost more than what you charge for that priced item. In what business is it worth losing a $400 order over $40 in shipping that YOU as the merchant screwed up?! So I said, "That's essentially like giving me a 10% off coupon code so I understand you can't change the shipping cost so charge me for the shipping and can you give me a discount? Lisa's reply was "ALL of our promo codes exclude rocking chairs." I think she missed the point but the best part is I later found a promo code for 10% off that is still valid that does NOT exclude rocking chairs!! So, as I said to Lisa, (who by the was was rude, unhelpful and lacked any kind of empathy-or business sense for that matter) moral of the story is she could have done something, especially given that fact that there is currently a valid 10% coupon code, and instead CHOSE not to. Shame on Lisa! And having the audacity to call your consumer and tell them they need to pay more?! You've got to be kidding me! There are way too many other options out there for me to ever recommend them or use them ever again! I received a rocking chair as a gift that was order from this company! Initially, I thought it was the cutest little accessory for my son's room, and he enjoys sitting on it at story time. I had this chair for exactly two days, and the paint began to rub off on my son's skin, clothing, blankets, and diapers. I contacted the giver of the gift, and was told that the chair cost $200 to be hand painted and it should not be bleeding paint. She contacted the company and was told that they have had this problem in the past with pastel colors, it never primary colors. Pictures were sent, and this was their reply: "Sorry for the late response. We have reviewed the photos you sent us and it does not appear that any paint has been removed from the chair. We have painted plenty of chairs with the same design and same color palette and that is exactly what they look like. Sometimes you can see through the paint a little bit like in the yellow part of the boat because it is painted onto a similar color. For future reference I want to make sure that your niece is aware of our hand painted instructions. We send a small instruction slip with each hand painted order but I will give you the instructions for the protection of the paint. We recommend that harsh chemicals are not used to clean the chair. You can use a damp or dry cloth to wipe it down occasionally. It is also important to note that sunblock, bath, and skincare such as lotion can affect the paint. I hope this helps! We appreciate your business and thank you for your order. Julie" So in other words, never mind that we told you this happened before with pastels, never mind that you showed us the paint wiped off your child with an unscented, chemical free baby wipe... We aren't doing anything for you even though you have a defective $200 kids chair. For the record... 1. The chair hasn't been cleaned yet, it's brand new. 2. NO harsh chemicals are used in my home or nursery. 3. My nursery furniture is only dusted with dry microfiber or Swifer cloths. 4. I don't put sunscreen on my child in the house. 5. Terrible experience. And terrible customer service. We bought a bank for our daughter. It was small, but she is a baby, so no biggie. We didn't open it for 6 months and when we did, the "paint" they used for personalization smeared all over. It looks awful. Instead of sending a replacement, they wanted me to pay to send it to them to "get it fixed". Their products are cheap quality, so it would have been easy to send a replacement, but they didn't.
