We always place a to-go order, and our food is always ready at the time that they tell us it will be ready to pick up. Don't judge the book by the cover. The restaurant may be in a weird location, but everything that I have ever tried from the restaurant is beyond delicious, but my favorite items are the All American Burger (pro-tip: sub cheddar for their house-made pimento cheese), The Cuban Sandwich, and The Grilled Cheese with grilled onions and bacon added. So many sandwiches, like the grilled cheese, are made with their house-made "Momo Bread" which is SO yummy. Next time you're looking for lunch in Gainesville, don't hesitate to stop by or grab takeout. When handing us our order, she didn't give us an opportunity to properly take hold of our drinks before letting go. The food bag and straws were also handed to us in a manner that felt dismissive and careless, almost as if they were being tossed at us as we drove away. What made this interaction especially upsetting was that it felt targeted. Based on how we were treated, we were left with the impression that we experienced blatant racism. Whether intentional or not, the interaction made us feel unwelcome and disrespected. We've had positive experiences here in the past, which is why this visit stood out so much.
