Tried Zaxby's for the first time. I like the interior, which is nicer than most fast food restaurants. The chicken fingers were moist and meaty. It was lightly breaded and well seasoned but not crispy. The Zaxby's sauce is a must! The cole slaw is sweet, not very tangy. I ordered using the app. I pick up my order at the drive thru. I get home and the cheddar bites ordered are not in the bag. It's plainly written on the receipt. I used 500 points for them. Came here today in between Christmas shopping! The inside was very inviting and so nicely decorated for the holidays. Manager seemed very attentive and involved with making sure everything was being handled correctly. The food was fresh and the grilled Philly cheese was so delicious and hot when we got it. It was so good we had to get another one for my husband who was unable to come with us! Restaurant was very clean and facilities were clean also. It seemed everyone was friendly and doing a great job. Nice to know we have a place like this when putting in a stressful shopping day. We just love coming here and we will definitely be back! I just had a death in the family, never been to zaxbys waited 20 minutes in drive thru, was given wrong drink no sauce. I had to park the car come out in the rain, just to be given an empty cup and told by the worker mopping to get it myself. I asked for my money back at this point and was told by another female employee that she wasn't going to deal with me and called manger. I am at this Zaxby location returning a grilled chicken salad that had less than 2 tablespoons of grilled chicken. This type of problem is common at this location. I will be following up with the head manager with a complaint about how the on duty manager handled an attempted return of the salad. read more

Often when I go to this location I have to specify the order more than one time and even after this specification, the employees still seem to get it wrong almost every time. This time me and my girlfriend tried to do an online order and got a completely different order from the one that we had told them 3 times. Along with that, the store charges extra for Zax sauce and though my girlfriend paid for this we never received it with our order. Oh my! My first time going to Zaxby's ever. The female employee who took my order was so bothered, I'll never go back to this location (Lanier Island Parkway/Friendship Rd.). Then the young gentleman who took my payment and handed my food out was just as sour! I'm sure that's not how the owner wants customers to be treated. I hope the food is good. I've always been a Zaxbys fan and my son lives by their chicken fingers. They have an affordable snack pack , dinners, wings, great salads all made semi -to order so not really fast food but fast enough. The chicken quality has always been on spot, crunchy, juicy, and love their season salt crinkle fries . Their salads are fresh, several choices of fried, grilled, or all veggie salads that are a meal. Generally in and out fast, just off 985. I have not waited 45 minutes ( nor would I) but they do cook most to order so wait time can be longer. read more

I will NEVER - EVER - eat at this location again... last night my wife and I stopped in to pickup a couple finger plates and teas to take home after a long day. We get home eat the food - which was mediocre at best, but my wife kept saying she couldn't drink her tea (as in she could not get tea to go into the straw she was drinking from.. when I poured it out after the ice melted there was a large piece of plastic bag in the bottom... (I have pictures!!) uhhh WTF Zaxbys???? This particular location has had the worst customer service since it opened. They need new management - new ownership - or to just go out of business!! Another bad experience!!! Tried to order the 5 piece buffalo finger at the drive thru window, which are supposed to also come with celery sticks. Well I usually don't discover that I've been shorted until I get home, just prior to chowing down. Tonight I made sure to remind them to not forget my celery sticks & was met with "we are out of celery sticks!" (REALLY?!! That is supposed to be part of the order!!) So I asked if I would get an adjustment to my bill? The next thing I heard was, "let me know when you are ready to order." So, I repeated my question & was totally ignored a second time. I'm really angry now, because I've had my window down the whole time in what seems to be an apocalyptic rain storm of epic proportions! I am drenched to the bone & she inquires again, if I would like to order. To which I declined & drove away. Now, let me tell you how AWESOME the chili is at the Wendy's 2 doors down from this Zaxby's. (Which is where I went!) Hot, seasoned perfectly & about 1/2 the calories & less sodium too! I wish there was an option to leave no stars. I never leave reviews in anything in life so the fact that I'm taking time from my busy day of taking care of patients, this was necessary. First off, I pulled up to order and the male that was obviously disgruntled and gave off I have no degree so this is what I have to do vibes was very very rude. I don't know his name but he was working the window at 3 pm today Sunday 3/26/23. He was rudely rushing my order , not repeating the order, cutting me off to the point where I had to stop ordering and politely advise him that he's being rude. He then says he's not being rude. I let him know he was again and to calm down so I can order food for my kids who were not with me. I was able to finish ordering and got to the window to pick up food. Of course he was more polite by then which was better. I drove off and got home and my order was incorrect which is why I was fearful of him rushing me through the order, not repeating it back for clarity and confirmation because this is the exact time an order would be wrong. I was too tired to drive back. But what gets me is if you are going to be rude, and act like you have it all together then make sure the order is correct but since I I know now the individuals there are incompetent, I'll keep driving. This was my first time at this location and will be my last. I'll drive out the way to bypass this one next time. But I can see why they get 2.3 stars. read more

I'm giving 2 stars only because we love Zaxbys. This location however should turn their franchise back in so someone who wants to provide great service and food can take over. Usually a treat to go and we dine in. Today was a drive through trip. When I get the cup for the child meal it's half the size we get inside so I ask for a larger drink. No problem just pay $2.13. Kid is hungry and I promised Zaxby's so I dig in and pay more for a kids meal than the adult version ! WTH Now I get home and you guessed it order is not right. Nope not going back. I refuse to be that mad at a minimum wage clerk. But YOU Mr Owner need to fix it. This is not isolated but just the final straw. Well, Zaxby's is a good chain to grab a quick bit. I find them {on the whole} Clean, Quick & Fair priced. We stopped at the Lanier Island parkway location Sunday eve 10th Dec. before touring the lights. "THIS BY FAR WAS THE WORSE ZAXBYS EVER". First, Ordered meals for 4 with sodas. I paid for the order with a card. I forgot to ask for a sauce with the chicken fingers. Got the cups & went to get ice for the sodas "OUT OF ICE" ! So worker gets a large bucket, still standing behind the he takes the lid off the dispenser & dumps the ice. I was getting Ketchup & salt. I got hit by ice that missed the dispenser. Then they were out of 7up {lemon lime soda}. Told the worker behind the counter, nothing was done. Went to wash hands before food was delivered. BATHROOM WAS NASTY ! This store needs help ! Food came up & I realized about the sauce. I had no cash with me. Would have had to use the credit card for a quarter charge! I lived without the sauce. Giving 2 out of 5 stars because the cleanliness of the restaurant was not up to par in the seating area or the drink station area. It was bridging on the boarder line of being disgusting. The customer service was meh compared to other locations I've been to. This location is out in the country and it's sad the zaxbys in the city give friendlier customer service and have cleaner restaurants. I witnessed an employee drop cups on the floor and not throw them away, that was really gross. I tried to take a picture of the cups being kicked around before an employee realized what I was doing but it was too late, they hurried up and picked up the cups. It was still gross some people actually eat ice and their lips will be touching the rim of the cup and perhaps wondering days later why they have a cold sore or some other type of herpes on their mouth smh yep all because your mouth touched a cup that was rolling around on a high traffic floor **gags** overall the food was decent, the customer service was just ok, and the restaurant needed to be cleaned up. Would I come back? NO! which is sad because this is the first bad zaxbys experience I've ever had. You have 1/2 a million dollar homes in this area and you would expect a 5 Star review of this zaxbys location. I would've given 3 stars but the cup incident really grossed me out. read more

This is the best fast food chicken place. They wont get a complaint from me, I haven't had any issues with my food or service. I always go hungry and leave full and happy. Every time I come here the bathrooms are filthy and the customer service does not exist. The counters are sticky, the floors are slick, the ice machine doesn't work, the soda machine is temperamental, and there speaker in the tiny dinning area is loud enough to reach the back row of most stadiums. The older lady behind the counter (owner?) is rude to customers. This was my last time giving them a chance. Three strikes and I am done. Even the food, which they are instructed how to make, seems sloppy. Too many better choices in the area to ever bother with this store again. I love Zaxby's but from now on I'm going to a different location. Corporate probably should pull the franchise license from these people. This store is giving the company a bad reputation. read more

Waited 20 minutes for two to-go meals. Multiple people were waiting for just as long. Tickets were "not going through" despite the fact that I watched the kitchen's ticket print up after ordering. There were easily 5 people waiting for their order to be corrected after receiving it. Two people had to come in after going through drive thru because things were either missing or incorrect. After finally getting my order, it was wrong, and I had to wait even longer to get it fixed. After getting home, neither of the meals had their fries seasoned. I couldn't agree the other one and two star revivews. I like Zaxby's too but this place is a disgrace to the brand. The young girls there are rude. The food is over salted - could not eat the chips the last two times we ordered them from this location. Both times the chicken fingers were so over-cooked they were tough. The Zaxby's franchise owners/managers need to read these multiple negative reviews and do something. We're now going to the one on Hwy 53 near Braselton - it's food and service are great. read more

I'm a huge fan of zaxabys, but as a regular it was my or at time at this location. I usually don't expect much of the customer service to any fast food place I go to but this just blew my mind. Miguel was my cashier and he was absolutely the kindest most genuine person there! He went above and beyond to make my visit there amazing. To be honest I've never even had such good service at chikfila LOL Miguel seriously is the best and if there's any reward they could earn for good customer service I sure do hope he gets it.
