Dude, $15 extra to shape an acrylic nail from square to coffin?? My nails came off three days later. The lady Vanna was super rude, cut my appointment off to help someone who was apparently a regular (who was just a walk in, while I had an actual appointment). Crappy nails, crappy service and pain. You're not supposed to grind people's nails down until they bleed and don't even get me started on the prices. COMPLETE RIP OFF! read more

The lady didn't even push my cuticles after asking multiple times. They soaked off my previous gel set from somewhere else and then just put new ones on. They were coming off after like 3 days. I had multiple people comment on how bad they were They are not sanitary to the point that I almost left! I would not ever recommend this place! read more

This was my first pedicure and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My cousin was a veteran and while on vacation, decided to take time for ourselves to enjoy a Saturday afternoon. The seasoned veteran who gave me the pedicure, walked me through the entire process and never knew I was that ticklish! She added girly pink polish and added some bling to my toes which I am thoroughly enjoying! Highly recommend you stop in for a pedicure - you won't be disappointed. read more

At first impression, I was very upset. I called in adVance to price check and see if there was an availability for a kids manicure for my little sister and a full oval set for myself. She agrees, but once my sister and I walked from DMV to the shop, she turned us away claiming she had too many Appointments, it really upset my sister.... it should have been mentioned on the phone. After my mom picked her up , I returned to get my full set, she was very nice but I am not happy with the result . Nails are still tacky two days later, $50 for full set of oval shaped nails. I'm hoping this gets resolved , so I can give a great review, however i am still upset. read more

Do not go here. I came in to get my acrylics taken off and they ripped most of my nail off. Then yelled at me and charged me. It is absolutely the worst nail salon I have ever been to. They use crappy products and do poor work. It's dirty, I could keep going but I think you get the point by now. read more

My first impression was that it was a clean and friendly salon. Everyone was easy to talk to and they were very kind. I ask for a pedicure and was not given any options (I looked around for posted pricing and couldn't find it). The lady who helped me was very rough when cutting my nails and cuticles. She went back to my cuticles 3 times and on the third time, they began to bleed. She put the antiseptic solution on it and told me that the were bleeding because they were cracking from dryness. I have had many pedicures and this has never happened. They did put my feet in wax, which I had never had before, so that was a plus. The massage wasn't great (she completely missed my calves), but it felt great on my feet. I was very satisfied with my final product, but I don't think I'll go back. read more

This place is a lot like the other reviews. It is $50 for a mani and pedi. They don't let you know it will cost $5 extra for buffing although they include the wax for the pedi in the $50 but not wax for the mani. Weird. It was VERY cold in the salon and hard to relax. There aren't many options because of the area so I would say they did an OK job. Mostly the price bothered me. However, massages are also overpriced in Fort Bragg so it may just be the location. If you are in an emergency, just go. read more

Very friendly staff and Kimberly did a fantastic gel manicure my nails. My appointment was at 11 AM and they were right on time, which is important to me. Also, they didn't take forever. To Debbie K., they DO NOT charge different prices for visitors and residents. My manicure was more than I'm used to paying in the SF Bay area but this isn't the bay Area. My pedicure done by mom was also very good and I've never gotten the hot wax as part of the service before. I love the big nail drying station. And there have WI-FI!!! read more

I decided to go back and give them a second chance after reading some recent reviews, and I am glad that I did. The guy who did my manicure was so good, I decided to also get a pedicure. Prices are still a little high, but this time the polish is perfect, he spent time doing a great job trimming my cuticles, gave a good massage, and he did some really fun nail art on my toes. I think it must depend on who you get - I'll definitely be back to have him do my nails again. read more

I was in town on vacation and wanted a pedicure. They advertised "walk ins welcome" so I walked in. They told me I had to come back in an hour, so I left and came back. I had gel polish on my toes and they used an electric file to remove the gel and charged $10.00. The woman giving me my pedicure cut my toe and was horribly sore the rest of the week. No massage. Basically the worst pedicure ever. And I had to pay $48.00 for this. Not too sure how clean the tubs are either. After I was finished and drying my toes, they put another patron in the same tub, not sure if they cleaned it. read more

Highway Robbery! I had an appointment and had to wait 25 minutes. There were two broken nails. The charge for the nail repair and gel fill was $60. My fingers were injured and very sore the following day. The salon was not clean and when I objected to the exorbitant cost, Vanna began shouting at me about her prices and stuffed a price list into my hand saying that it was an extra $15 on top of the $35 fill for gel polish! I asked her to please lower her voice, paid the $60 and left. read more

I cannot recommend this place. I've been there 4 times so I can honestly say I have given them a chance. They recommend you make an appointment saying it's "better" but even with an appointment you will have to wait 10 to 20 minutes. And if they are running behind because of overbooking or accepting walkins, they are rushing through each job to make up the time. I have never experienced a painful manicure until I came to this place. They are rushing to take the next customer. The lady is totally unfriendly; no smile, no conversation, nothing. And they are expensive. $38 for a gel manicure. I get gel manicures every 2 to 3 weeks in the Bay Area and pay $25-$28. No, I am sorry to say I won't go back for a fifth time and won't be recommending them to anyone. There are better places in town. read more

Made an appt to remove my acrylics and get a mani while I was in town visiting family. The two stars were all for the guy who removed the acrylics, he did it almost completely pain free and very quickly. However, the problems began when he passed me along to another manicurist for a shape up and polish. Bad bad and more bad. After clipping my nails much too short she discovered (after I winced) that she had created a painful hangnail. Her exact words were, "oh that hurts, yeah." She didnt try to remedy the mistake, just kept filing away. It prompted me to ask how long she's worked as a manicurist. (2 months) Then she applied two coats of paint very unevenly, while chatting to another worker in Vietnamese. I have no problem with people being bilingual, I myself am. I do have a problem with people being unprofessional and inconsiderate. When she had finished she must have read the expression on my face and would not stop asking if I liked it. I replied that I wasn't used to it being so short. At that point her supervisor (again in Vietnamese) clearly was unhappy with her result. At that point the recommendations began. They suggested painting a strip of the nail tips white to make it look like my nails were longer. Um, no. I walked out after paying and you could hear a pin drop. Needless to say, I'll stick to my hometown nail salon. read more

Unfortunately they were the only nail salon I could find open and I didn't ask what the cost would be for color only... $35! I have my own nails and have never paid more than $10 for color only. I asked if they could do 2 different colors per nail and was told it's not possible. They treat the locals really nice. The lady that did my nails didn't speak to me. $35 color only. I had a pedicure here a few months ago and am just getting to writing this review. When I walked in for my 11 am pedicure, the two men doing pedicures looked at me and then went back to what they were doing. When one of them finally went to the desk, he told me that the person scheduled to do my pedicure couldn't come in to work and could I return at 3 pm -four hours later! Nick, the owner, had no explanation for why he didn't call me (they had the phone #) so I wouldn't have invested in a 20 mile round trip drive. He said I could return in 45 minutes, which I did - this was a mistake. Someone put my feet in a tub of hot water and then left me there until the water was cold...everything went downhill from there. Nick scrubbed my heels with what looked like a cheese grater; by the next day, the bottom of my feet were so sore it was uncomfortable to walk. When it came time to apply polish, he told me that I really didn't need polish during the winter, but he'd need to charge me the same amount. What a waste of time - this place should be put out of business. read more

I was vacationing up on Fort Bragg this weekend and I broke a nail. I usually would have waited until I got home but it was the beginning of my vacation and I decided why not go get it fixed. I walked into the salon, and they asked me to have a seat. I didn't have to wait that long, considering I didn't have an appointment. Then a female sat down and there was NO friendly chatter, No hello. OK, maybe I caught them at a bad time. NOPE. She started fixing my nail then another lady came in without an appointment and wanted the full treatment. The woman that was working on my nail dumped me and eventually another man came and finished off my nail. Neither the woman of the salon or the man said one word to me, Such as.... Hello, or how are you, or I am going to help this other lady and my associate will be finishing off your nail. Then..... here comes the really ridicilious part.... they charged me $10.00 to fix 1 nail!!!! Nothing like being taken advantage of. Rude, rip off and just plain unwelcoming!!!!!
