We used ChuckTown Homes to do both! We met with our buyer's agent, Andrea, to discuss all of our wants/needs in regards to a new house. She promptly got us set up on a portal to begin mapping out where we wanted to be and for houses to be tagged for us within our budget. She was prompt in getting back to us with any questions and with setting up viewings. When it came to negotiations with the sellers of the home we wanted, so was very proactive! Our buyer's agent, Matt, was just as great! We set up an appointment for him to view our house to discuss what we think we can sell for (as well as why, including other homes in the area that were comparable). He advised us on how to have the home set up for photos and how to have things done for showings. He was able to help us navigate toward good offers and ones that seemed like they wouldn't be a good fit. He was prompt in getting back to us via text, email or even by phone when needed. We really appreciate all of the hard work they put into making the transition of selling and buying our homes easier on our family. We would highly recommend them for your buying or selling needs.

During the inspection, the HVAC was identified as needing repairs, which were agreed upon by the seller as part of our closing conditions. Despite this being a key issue, the agency failed to properly verify that the HVAC was actually functioning correctly after the repairs were supposedly completed. This lack of diligence resulted in me moving into a home with a still-broken system--something that should have been caught and addressed before closing. When buyers rely on professionals to guide them through the real estate process, especially with large financial commitments involved, basic accountability and attention to contractual details are essential. Unfortunately, in this case, that trust was misplaced. I urge future clients to be very proactive when working with this agency and not assume that agreed-upon repairs or verifications will be handled thoroughly. While one specific person who benefited from this sale might say that it was the HVAC company's fault, I believe the agent should have been more proactive in verifying that what need to be done according to the contract was completed. I also asked to do a walkthrough of the property the day before closing and was ignored. There are a lot of good agents out there. Would recommend finding them at other agencies.

Bags of food from the fridge was left in the garage, tons of trash and other random items and it was just awful. Our agent had to go out of pocket to get a cleaner to come for us so we could move in. They have yet to resolve the fact that we literally have a mountain of trash outside of our garage that they left behind. I feel like their agent should have done a walk through and on they're end and communicated better about expectations. This is my third house to buy and hands down the absolute worse experience I have ever had moving in.

He was attentive and extremely responsive from the very beginning. The best part was he knew about some properties before they were even formally listed so having the inside track in this seller's market was the key to our success. We never felt rushed through the process even though houses sell so fast around here. He seemed to have the paperwork ready almost immediately whenever that time came and he walked us through every step of the way and gave us great advice. Even though our first home fell through due to the sellers changing their mind, he was lightning fast at responding and finding us an even better place. He some how made one of the most stressful times in someone's life an enjoyable experience! The neighborhood we wanted was farther out than most and Tyler never hesitated to meet up and show us a home immediately even though it was over a 40-minute drive for him. I will definitely use him for any future home purchases as he went above and beyond what we expected. Even his service after the sell is excellent. He's called to check on us after the storms and he's helped us anytime we needed to arrange a service provider or had additional questions. He is truly a gem and of excellent quality.
