When I arrived for my appointment, Selene greeted me at the door and she was very good about following the COVID sanitary methods. Selene is amazing and her work is impeccable, you can tell that she truly took the time to perfect her craft because it really does show. I was so happy with the [painless] work she did on my brows that I raved about it for weeks due to the fact that the hairs actually grew back a lot slower this time, which impressed me so much because I usually have to go back to the beautician after 2 weeks, but this time I didn't need to reach out till the end of the following month. Sadly by that time, the beauticians in her area had to close again because of a spike in covid so I wasn't able to see her. My second experience was a few days ago (November 21st), I was happy to hear that she is open for business. She is currently ONLY providing her services from her home, which I didn't mind at all because it was nice to get outside and drive and its about a 30 minute drive, which isn't that bad. When I arrived to her home, she greeted me at the door and just like at her establishment she was following the COVID protocol and you could defiantly tell that she is very thorough when it comes disinfecting and providing a proper work space. Overall, both of my experiences have been wonderful and I plan on going to Selene for now on regarding any and all my waxing needs!

She graciously gave me Selene's number and told me to check her out (they work together). Selene was AMAZING because: 1) I texted her after work and she was able to squeeze me in that evening. 2) She uses hard wax. 3) I don't know if it's the wax or her technique (probably both!), but that was honestly painless. I actually don't understand how that's possible because it's been a loooong while since I've gotten a wax down there... and y'all know when you wait too long, it hurts like a mofo!! 4) The room was clean and comfortable. Not too hot or too cold, which randomly is something I always think about when getting any waxing done. 5) She was warm and welcoming and a great conversationalist! Overall, the best Brazilian experience I've had yet. I've finally found my go-to gal on the peninsula. I even gushed about her for a few minutes to my husband in the car lol.
