This was truly a shockingly good experience because I went to a different lab company the day before and I was so frustrated with them, I walked out. Oh and the screen in the wait room to show when you are next in line is a nice touch! The last place I went to, I sat in the waiting room for an hour after check in and was never acknowledge. A screen like that would have given me some reassurance that I wasn't being missed. Labcorp, thank you for not only opening on a Saturday, but for also hiring people who care about their patients.

I visit your lab frequently, often twice a month, and it's absurd that I have to submit my insurance card whenever I've already provided that information on your portal. The customer service I experienced was inadequate and lacking empathy. As a disabled person, walking is a significant challenge for me, and I'm currently dealing with mobility issues. While I have a wheelchair, I struggle to get it out of my vehicle without assistance, which further complicates matters. I recognize that LabCorp's time is valuable, but so is mine. After discussing a few things with him he became very distant about what I was trying to explain to him about my narcolepsy and associated conditions. Narcolepsy is a very rare neurological disease of which I have a severe case of. After talking to him about some of the associated conditions and how they effect me he started acting like I was making things up like a hyperchondriact would do. I mentioned that United Health Care was dragging their feet AGAIN over another PA for medication prescribed by neurology. He couldn't understand why I am prescribed the medications I am taking and for that I have no time to stop and talk about it with him. How am I supposed to expect him to help me when he doesn't know anything about what's wrong with me. When I tested him about what he knows even after I told him I will test doctors that smile and pretend he failed the test. United makes a lot of money from me from the doctors I see and the treatments I get and I don't have to be here, I can take my business anywhere I want to. Monday I start looking for new health care and insurance coverage.
