Tyler came out on time and was courteous and polite when he arrived, wearing shoe covers when in our home. He replaced two dryer vents in addition to cleaning out our ducts and shared pics throughout the process. We had an issue with leaking vents and he replaced them with ones that had dampers and he sealed all around both vents and even inside, which should eliminate the issue. The work was thorough and completed in a timely manner. I highly recommend Tyler for anything related to your dryer vents as he's very knowledgeable and goes out of his way to do it right! read more

I was extremely happy with this business and it was 100% worth the cost. Scheduling was friendly and easy. I knew exactly what to expect regarding cost and services. Tyler was friendly, respectful, and did not try and upsell me at all. He replaced some duct work and added material to create a better seal that was causing issues with condensation and proper filtration. He identified the cause of pests getting into our duct work and remedied that with an extra trip to purchase proper materials to fix the issue. Tyler came out the next day and was able to clear out BOTH dryers and the vent. He also replaced some of the coil that was not up to code. Further, he explained what he would do if the it was his situation (we have one vent with 2 dryers running into it) but was not pushy and did not try to upsell me on anything that we didn't need! My clothes were not drying properly. I went through two servicemen and then I finally bought a new dryer. But when the LG tech came, he said it's the vent not the dryer. I looked for reviews and My Dryer Vent Cleaning was the best in town. I called and Tyler came to my rescue. He cleaned the vent and even has a camera so you could see everything he's doing. All the way up to the roof. He worked diligently for just under two hours. Well, here and now I'm drying clothes as we speak. I am so happy and it was well worth the price. I did not gouge my budget! So, I was getting a new dryer and decided it would be a good time to clean out my dryer lint vent…read more I ordered a kit with a round brush and some flexible rods that you attach to a drill and feed through the vent to clean out the lint. Sounds simple enough, right? So the flexible rods that screw together unfortunately separate while I'm using the drill and the brush and several of the rods are stuck inside the duct. I watch a YouTube video explaining how to remove it (it apparently happens frequently) by buying additional rods and attaching a "corkscrew" made from a wire hanger which you feed into the duct by hand to hopefully "grab" onto the brush and pull it out. You guessed it, that got stuck too. I called King Air Duct Cleaning and Lance (the owner) assured me that he understood the issue and he would be able to squeeze me in so I could start using my new dryer. Lance was here this morning and he was amazing. Within 20 minutes he had both of the pieces removed from the duct and all of the built-up lint cleared. Then he hooked up my new dryer, tested the airflow and assured me everything was good to go! And the cost was about 1/3 of what I thought it would be! Highly recommended!!!

I asked him to let me know when he was on his way so I could notify her. Not only did he do that, but he notified me again before he knocked on the door to make sure he wasn't waking her up! The cleaning was textbook; he cleared the lint the size of a ball from the vent, did NO upselling, charged exactly what I was quoted and was done quickly. And my clothes now dry on the first load! First, he listened to our particular concerns about our home and then did a complete inspection of our attic - including a bunch of pictures (because when was the last time you were in your attic?) Our home is 33 years old and totally under-insulated. Our biggest complaint was the "hot in the summer, cold in the winter" temperature of our master bedroom. He showed us the existing 2" of original blown-in insulation that remained currently in our attic and explained how upping the amount to "code" would make a huge difference. We opted for a total removal of the old insulation so that they could fill all the cracks and openings where air escapes. We also had them install a radiant barrier on the undersides of our roof rafters which will reflect additional heat from the attic area. The whole job took two days. On day one, they vacuumed out all the old insulation which they collected in a bladder-filled dumpster which had been delivered. Then they filled all the cracks and applied the radiant barrier. There was a big crew of guys here and they kept the mess to a minimum by draping plastic from the attic opening in my hall and completely covered my floors where they were walking and the wall corners where their hoses might rub. I really appreciated that because once they left I didn't have a big mess to clean up! On the second day, they blew in 40 bags of new insulation. I waited a month since the install to write a review because I wanted to live in my newly insulated home for a while before I weighed in. First thing we noticed was the sound - it's actually quieter in our house! The last few days it's been windy, rainy and gross outside - we haven't felt the need to "take the chill off the house" by turning the heat on for a little bit. We're so comfortable now. We had a lot of work done by the Commandos and felt the price was super competitive! I would highly recommend this company.

Last time (a couple years ago), Flores also showed up quickly and repaired our unit, was so helpful and did a great job accommodating our budget as best as he could. Both experts felt safe and professional. I had such a great experience yesterday getting my dryer vents cleaned for the first time through them and not an air duct, cleaning company and wow what a huge difference it made. The tech that came to my house was friendly, very thorough and organized. He spent extra time showing me the inside of my dryer vent on a screen and explaining everything that he was doing one step at a time. I had no idea that not cleaning your vents could be a fire hazard! I felt very educated after them coming to my house. You can tell this company really knows what they're doing and they are Specialist in their field. I felt like the tech really cared. I just used My Dryer Vent Cleaning to inspect and clean out our dryer vent. At some point the duct vent had come apart in the crawl space and had been blowing lint straight into the space. We had had another service person working on an unrelated project fix it. I wanted to make sure the fix was good before patching up the ceiling. Tyler came right on schedule, was very professional, neat and organized. He showed us pictures from the camera he sent down the duct to assure us that everything was back to normal and now free of lint.
