I had tenants move out without informing me about a water leak in the guest bathroom, which led to water damage that could have been prevented. To make matters worse, despite my lease stating no smoking whatsoever, the property had a lingering smoke odor--and even an extracurricular smoke odor--that I couldn't eliminate no matter how many times I treated the house myself. Then there was a long delay on my part, but when I finally accepted and signed the quote, he was on-site within a week and finished all the restoration work in 1 day.

Even though the litter box was kept one room, it permeated through the entire house and there was no escaping the odor, you could even smell it when approaching the house. I was certain that the house would have to be repainted and the room with the liter box would need new drywall and the wood flooring would need to be replaced. I called Smell Fresh Arizona based off their Yelp reviews and I am so happy that I started here because it was a much simpler and cheaper resolution. They did in fact get rid of the any trace of the odor. They also opened the refrigerator while treating the house and it also removed the normal odor fridges retain when unplugged. I highly recommend this company for your stinky problems.

This is a long overdue review for ATH! They handled two major home projects for us in 2025 in a…read moremidcentury modern condo. This review is for the first one, a bedroom ceiling/roof leak that needed mold mitigation, asbestos testing and renovation. March 2025: Leak originally started as a moisture spot on the ceiling in October 2024 but my HOA ignored it. By March 2025, the ceiling had become so compromised that water streamed in like a waterfall during a massive storm. My original contact was Noah - he gave me an estimate (along with two other companies). I really appreciated how Noah was communicative, informative and thorough. And! he didn't badger me w/ phone calls & emails, like the other two companies did. He understood that I said I would take care of the situation when I could b/c I was in the middle of Massage Therapy school. I understood the "risks" of having mold & just shut the bedroom off. Fast forward to August 2025 & now we're ready to take care of the situation. Noah followed protocol of getting an asbestos test first. Luckily, it was negative. Then Spencer, their Mitigation Specialist? built a special containment room, inside the guest bedroom that sealed off the contaminated area. Heavy duty fans stayed on for about 72 hours? so the area could be thoroughly dried after being treated w/ some kind of mold treatment. Noah was available via text when I had questions - that was surprising & super helpful! Once Mitigation was completed, Noah connected me w/ Jacob at their Restoration Department. He sent over a stellar crew led by David & they proceeded to rebuild about a quarter of the bedroom - meant to mention that they had to rip out dry wall, scaffolding, etc. This crew rebuilt and then refinished the area, including re-installing wainscotting and painting the ceiling + walls. The results? This bedroom looks gorgeous! We were thrilled with how thorough/smooth ATH was w/ this process & how the renovation turned out. Steven and his partner were very professional, friendly, and courteous. Steven called thirty minutes prior to arrival and explained everything to me as they went. I was not completely happy with the scheduling experience, but this was no fault of the technicians. I was told over the phone that it would be $249 for air duct and dryer vent cleaning, but when they called to confirm and I asked how long the process would take, she said, "You only have one unit, right?" I have two units, and I was then informed that it is $249 per unit. This was not discussed with me when I made the initial appointment. The scheduler may have been new or something because I remember thinking that she did not seem very sure or knowledgable. I decided to just get one unit done but I was told that they would inspect the other unit free of charge, which they did and I appreciated that. He showed me that the upstairs units looked pretty good so there was no need to clean the ducts. My reasoning for scheduling this service was due to a reoccurring cough and allergic reactions that I have been experiencing over the last six months, and suspected it was related to the air ducts downstairs. Steven informed me that we did have mold in both units, it wasn't bad, but showed me the black spots and offered treatment. This didn't surprise me as we had a known air handler leak in the attic prior to moving in to this house. Steven also discovered evidence of a previous leak, but informed me that the people who put in the replacement did a great job cleaning up, and showed me video that he took. When they cleaned out my dryer vent they found that it was clogged, and showed me the amount of debris that they were pulling out. Steven informed me that it is usually an extra charge to unclog the vent, but he would not charge me, which I also greatly appreciated. I decided to proceed with the mold treatment, but it was very costly at $330 per floor. One unit air duct cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, and mold treatment on both units cost me almost $1000 after all was said and done. It would have been nice to have been informed by scheduling what to expect and that additional charges may come up if mold is found. Other than the cost and the scheduling issues, I was very happy with my service and would definitely use them again. They left about an hour ago and my daughter said she feels like she's breathing cleaner air already. :) read more

TODD and CHRIS are my FOREVER Indoor Air Specialists(No pun intended)!! I am a doctor & just moved into a 10 year old home in Awahtukee(Lakewood). Ive been here for about a month and I got LUCKY and bought a Groupon to have my air ducts checked out. The guys arrived yesterday and my 200#s of Pure Love and Dog Hair greeted them at my front gate. These guys were amazing. Courteous, polite, clean, punctual and clearly VERY knowledgeable(oh, & dog people!). They literally SHOWED me what was living inside my air ducts with the equivalent of an Endoscope(while my dogs were under their feet, jumping on them and licking them-everything you train your dogs NOT to do when company arrives! They just loved Todd and Chris!). Holy Cow!!!! It was SO dirty!! I had been breathing dirt, dust, dust mites, and who knows what else! With confidence they told me what they would do in my situation or if this were their home. I followed their guidance. It was very affordable and they deep cleaned and sanitized my air ducts on the spot-it took probably 60-90 minutes from arrival to departure for them to inspect, diagnose and treat the problem with 100% success. Impressive. Long story, short: I enjoyed my visit and interaction with Todd and Chris. This morning I woke up and my first thought was "Oh, Thank God, I finally got a restful sleep!". I have woken up in this house feeling icky with a stuffy nose and headache EVERY SINGLE morning since I arrived. I was secretly starting to think I needed to go in to see a Doctor, LOL!!!! NOPE. I truly believe that Todd and Chris fixed my problem. I had been breathing allergens, dust mites and probably fungal spores for WEEKS! I am SO grateful!! Thank you, Todd and Chris!!! P.s. Our interaction was so powerful that I am ripping up & replacing the entire floor in this house S.T.A.T.-- & Yes, I will have Todd and Chris come by afterwards and clean out my air ducts again because WHO KNOWS what is lurking in this 10 year old floor!! I recently had the pleasure of working with Ignacio and Devon for vent cleaning, AC cleaning, and dryer vent cleaning, and I cannot recommend them enough! I had just bought a new home and realized by dryer was not working so I decided to have my vents checked and cleaned. From start to finish, they were professional, thorough, and incredibly informative. They went above and beyond to explain every step of the service, detailing why each was necessary and the options available to me. They did an amazing job cleaning out years of built-up dirt, grime, and even mold from the vents that hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Ignacio and his tech were great. Very educational, informative, polite, courteous, prompt, quick and thorough. They went above and beyond to service my home. Very engaging in conversation as well. I didn't feel pressured to purchase additional services but I did after they educated me and I appreciated it very much. My dryer vent was clogged and that could have been a costly and dangerous situation for me in the future. In scheduling, the office staff was very kind, courteous and communicative as well. I would highly recommend using. UPDATE...I'm writing an update as I wasn't aware of a few things, before I wrote it. As nice as the technicians were, all of my vents were left closed. A vent was removed and now has a gap from the wall and paint pulled off around it. Unfortunately things weren't put back in their place...couch moved but never moved back, items removed from shelf in laundry and not put back. I Initially contacted them as I was having little bits of debris coming from the vents, that smear on my furniture. I still have the debris coming from my vents. I'm trying to give it a bit to see if it will clear up, but was really disappointed by that. And lastly, they double charged my debit card for the services I received...$286.00x2. I contacted them about this matter and they said the duplication should be released and back in my account by Mon, but I'm not sure why they did that. Thankfully I can afford to wait until Monday but a lot of others cannot. Just something to be aware of when paying. UPDATE...I initially made this review a 5 star and then a 3 with 2nd update. I'm giving them a star back as the black debris from the vents has thankfully stopped. And the 2nd charge was indeed released. Still holding back a star due to the other issues. We had Forever Vent come out to do a deep cleaning on our air ducts and dryer vent. When scheduling, Rosa explained everything in detail, what to expect and the costs. She set up the appointment and let me know we would get a reminder call. Sure enough, we got our reminder call plus the day of cleaning, the technician gave me a call before arrival. Avi and Ben were the technicians who came out and they were very polite and great customer service. He verified with me what they were doing as there are different options you could choose from. During the process, I had questions and just my curiosity, Avi and Ben both answered my questions in detail and explained what exactly was happening. Avi showed me video of my system and how dirty they were up in the attic along with mold and mildew in one of my systems. He cleaned everything to my satisfaction. Avi gave me some literature to read about the products they used to sanitize and clean. My house now smells great and looking forward to breathing cleaner air. We just recently moved into an older townhouse and I have a child with Cystic Fibrosis so I wanted to get our vents cleaned before moving my daughter in. I ordered a Groupon for a routine cleaning since our A/C unit is only 3 years old. Jesse and Jen arrive and start working on the vents, they find evidence of mold, obviously concerning with my daughters medical condition. Well they go up to the A/C unit and find mold on that as well. Turns out when the unit was replaced the vents weren't cleaned so mold in the old unit infected the new unit from the old vents. Since we just moved in funds are very tight and I was trying to figure out how I would pay for everything. Well with hearing about my daughers condition and just moving they offered to remove the mold, sanitize and everything for free! I had the same issue as another Yelper - my Groupon randomly got redeemed and I had to email Groupon to have it reinstated. I then followed up with scheduling my cleaning, which Forever Vent was able to do the following morning - today. Jesse and Chandler arrived 15 minutes before the start of my 8-11am window, which was great - usually you are in the last hour of a window! They explained what would be done as part of the Groupon, recommended better air filters and showed me the video of what the interior looked like; I don't think the previous owners ever had the vents cleaned and I knew they had owned a rather large shaggy dog. The video and pictures prompted me to agree to the deep cleaning (Jesse was not at all pushy on the upselling, he just showed me what was there and let me think on it). They were both courteous and answered my questions as they cleaned. Since I have three cats I did opt for the disinfectant. I've owned my home for over two years and at purchase was told the AC vents were cleaned but to my surprise they were full of debris. Josh took video and provided me with all the information to get them up to par. He was up front about costs and did not make me feel pressured to add any services. Josh showed me before/after videos and left my vents looking like new! He kept me updated with the work, and went above and beyond to address some concerns I had with my vents including really good guidance and information. Both technicians were very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and were very thorough in cleaning up after themselves. Overall excellent service a 5+ for me. I had Forever Vent come out today to do a dryer vent inspection and clean my A/C vents. My technicians, Chandler and Jesse were great and very professional. They showed up on time, explained the services and performed them in a timely manner. They also did a great job of cleaning up. I was shocked to see how much had built up in my dryer vent. I had never had inspected in my 15 years living here. I got a new LG dryer that has advanced features and was telling me I had an 80% vent blockage. I ignored for a few months but finally scheduled an appointment. I was shocked, the dryer debris almost filled a paper grocery bag. I would have had no idea I had this potential fire hazard, fortunately my new LG dryer did! I was very impressed with Forever Vent and Chandler and Jesse. Chris and Chris came to our aid this morning (right on time, they even gave me a 30 minute heads up they were on the way) and couldn't have been more professional and polite! They did an amazing job cleaning and sanitizing a very old duct system and fan, and even cleaned my dryer duct as well. They took photos of the before and after (we just moved in and there was mold!) and everything looks as good as new. I'm enjoying the clean fresh air and feel safe seeing that they properly wore their masks the entire time and maintained a social distance even in my tiny townhome! I found them on Groupon but didn't pay for it there because I needed more than maintenance work. Our new office/warehouse space had REALLY terribly air quality when we moved in due to extended non-use of the HVAC systems and an insane amount of sawdust from the previous tenant. My staff and I could see the debris coming out of ducts when the A/C kicked in. We didn't use the furnace due to the fire hazard. Ductworks was commissioned by one of the property contractors to clean the ducts and warehouse heater. Service carried out on 12/20/2022. Tech showed up and got right to work. A quick survey of what needed to be carried out, went over the estimate initially provided, clearly explained the statement of work and charges, and then went right to it.The team was absolutely incredible. We moved into our house two years ago and never got the vents cleaned. My husband found a Groupon for Forever Vent to come out and clean our ducts since my allergies have been CRAZY. Let me tell you. I've NEVER had more professional people come and take care of my home. They were quick but thorough. They were polite and personable. I probably have never been more comfortable with a couple of strangers being in my home! They felt like friends who were just doing me a favor. My family just moved into a new house and are preparing for a new baby, so vent cleaning was on the to-do list. My husband purchased a Groupon for a basic vent cleaning service from Forever Vent. Josiah and Ken arrived on time and were friendly and professional. Josiah showed me both photos and video of the vents/air system prior to beginning the cleaning service, and let me know what looked good and what could be improved. I never felt pressured to make further purchases, though Josiah did recommend additional services based on the age of the home/state of the ducts. Forever Vent was fantastic. We received quotes from several vent cleaning companies and ultimately settle on Forever Vent because of their timely response and available appointments. When the technicians arrived, they were professional and friendly. They explained the process and got right to work. Michael and his partner were polite, friendly and kept us informed on every step of the vent cleaning process. They provided pre and post pictures of each step and answered all our questions. Not only did I purchase one heck of a Groupon being $99 but the 2 employees, Bill & Cory were really great!! I was particularly impressed with the fact that I have an 85lb pitbull & they both took time petting him right away to make my dog feel comfortable :) They were very hard workers & extremely efficient on the job. They both wiped off their feet coming in & out of my home & crazily enough they were right on time as far as the 3 hour window given goes. Although I think the company is probably good, I really recommend these 2 workers for sure (also, they were both extremely easy on the eyes- not that it should be based upon that though, ha!) read more

Got a groupon deal for forever vent cleaning service. The service by Josiah and Benjamin was way beyond amazing! They came an got all our ac vents spotless as well as our dryer vent! They anwsered all my questions I had for them. I will be using them for future services as well as a deep cleaning an sanitizing of my unit up in the attic. After living in our current house for almost a year, I figured we should probably have our vents cleaned. I bought a Groupon and scheduling the appointment was quick and easy. Bill came out and informed us that our 12 year old house had NEVER been cleaned and showed us the amount of dust, drywall pieces, and even a can lodged in one of the vents. Needless to say we paid a little more to have the entire system cleaned and tuned up, but Bill did a great job and put our minds at ease knowing that we did the right thing and thankfully didn't have a major system breakdown. Josiah has been great! Showed up right on time, all equipment ready to go, showed us photos the inside of our vents and oh boy were they gross!!! I purchased a Groupon for the initial services but was delighted when the team further assessed potential issues and provided recommendations short and long term to prevent bigger problems down the road. Price point on all services was well below many competitors for the services outside what was offered by the Groupon. The final benefit was I immediately noticed the increased air flow and cleanliness of the air once Benny and his partner finished working their magic on our well overdue vents! I spoke with Del Glen about getting my dryer vent cleaned as I was getting an error message that indicated my dryer vent was clogged. He knew exactly what was wrong and scheduled for between 9 and 10am the next day. He also said they won't try to sell a bunch of services like other companies. They just do the requested job. So, 9am rolled around, 9:30, finally at 10 Del's brother Steve shows up to tell me that the job they are currently doing was running late and they won't finish and be at my house until 1pm. I had my afternoon planned out, and now I had to bust my backend to get done what I needed to do before 1:00. (If this was my business and I couldn't get a job finished which would inconvenience my next customer, I would tell then I have to come back to finish.) I rush home to be there by 1pm. So, 1:00 rolls around, 1:15, 1:20 and finally I call Del to find out why they are late. He responds by saying they are on their way. Steve arrives with his worker Callie (?) and Callie gets started right away. Immediately, Steve asks when I last had my air ducts cleaned. I don't know because I just moved into the house, and it was remodeled. He walks to my air vent, lowers the cover and says, "See?See all the dust?" I didn't see any but he must know what he's talking about. So he quotes me a price which wasn't something I could do right now, as I'm retired. Still, he kept at it, until I said OK. (So much for not trying to sell me additional services.) It's important to point out that Callie is hearing impaired, can't read lips, doesn't know ASL and can't read the written word. I only mention that Callie is hearing impaired because unbeknownst to either of us, Steve leaves. Callie finishes and he doesn't know that Steve left or where he went. I don't know either but I try to get him to understand that he is supposed to clean the air ducts. He doesn't understand me, I don't understand him. It's like we are speaking different languages and there is no way for me to communicate with this man. He's getting more and more frustrated so I offer him a glass of ice water, which he declines. Then he walks into my home and starts opening and closing my fridge, turning my water at the sink on and off, and I wondering what in the heck is going on. His frustration grows and I become fearful as I'm alone in the house with him. I call Del to explain this to him and he gets an attitude with me and says 'Steve only went to the hardware store. He'll be right back.' Fifteen minutes later Steve returns. I am beyond upset as I'm explaining what just happened. He gets an attitude with me, waves me off and says "we've been in business for 20 years and we've never had complaints." He goes on to say that he told Callie he was leaving, which Callie indicates he vehemently denies. Steve starts to yell at Callie which makes me very uncomfortable. I pat Callie's arm to indicate it's OK, I'm not upset with him. I tell Steve, "you left without letting anyone know, you leave me with a man with whom I cannot communicate, which frustrates both Callie and me." I told him to forget about the air ducts and pay him for just the dryer. And he says this: "I hope you won't hold this against us. We'll schedule for later to do you air ducts and you won't be disappointed." Not once did he or Del offer me any kind of financial compensation. In fact when I called Del after they left, he had the nerve to tell me to schedule the air duct cleaning and they will arrive on time and do a great job. Not until hell freezes over, dude. I've read through the reviews, and most of them are good. But the few that are not, had very similar experiences as I had. So, I'm sorry Del, but I will never, ever use you again and will tell all my friends, Yelp you and call Angie's list to complain as well.

However, I got a call Monday morning at 9:50am saying they would be there in 20 minutes. 50 minutes earlier than scheduled wasn't something I could accommodate for, but they thankfully pushed it out to 10:30am. However then arrived at 10:45am. So the timing overall wasn't a great start. Lastly, the pricing seemed agreed upon and clear in the beginning, but I was told I wouldn't receive the 15% off because that was only for additional services, not the entire service. On yelp it does state it's 15% off for new customers and I didn't see any fine print stating otherwise. I also confirmed I would be getting the 15% off through messages, but I guess they have an AI bot and that's who I got my response from, which then made my 15% off invalid. Nonetheless, the guys were understanding and accommodating which I appreciate and did apply a discount. Overall, I am happy with the service and pricing provided, I just wish it was a smidge more seamless throughout.
