I came here with a friend as I was visiting in town & wanted to spend money on myself as a splurge. Instead I left feeling like I just wasted money. The woman who did my nails was SO messy! I had product stuck to my skin I had to peel off, the acrylic is ontop of my cuticle bed which is very irritating and is what's catching my hair. Part of my actual nails aren't even covered just got ol natural hanging out on the side. I will not be coming back nor ever recommending this place. It's not even been 1 week and my nails are already catching my hair and lifting. For $150 I'd expect good quality nails.. not Walmart nail salon nails. Do not bother wasting your money. If you want QUALITY for the same price they're asking you can go to Rumor Nails off hwy 6 and get amazing nails that last WEEKS. read more

I'm very particular about my nails and this place is definitely 5 Star. The owner Kim is so professional and may I also include her salon is very organized and the nail techs are amazing. I sit back and watch how they spray and clean their seats and tables after each customer is finish. The techs are professional and take there time to handle each customers request. My envy nail salon have great product with a wide selection to choose from for every occasion. You will never have to be concern about your nails breaking off or nail polish looking old. This is so unfortunate, but I will move forward in reporting what happened this past Sunday. Let me start with what went well--I have been to this salon approximately three times and have had good experiences before. There has never been an issue with products, service or staff...until my last visit. My old set of nails needed to be removed, so the tech did a standard procedure which was to soak them to expedite the removal. I asked her directly and clearly if my watch was going to be ok and she said yes so I put my nails in the cotton/liquid/plastic bag/bowl. To be honest I never have known what the liquid is, but it turns out it is acetone. Perhaps this is common knowledge, but I never thought about it. Well some of it got on to the band of my watch and it peeled off a coating that was on top of the leather band. The official nomenclature of this piece is called "Versace Greca Logo Mini Black" VEZ100221. MSRP $1,245. I have owned it for six months. Ok. I did not notice the damage until I got home. I then called the salon and told them what happened. I talked to Tam and she asked me to come back to the salon so they can look at it. I go back up there--bringing all documents, receipts, boxes, ownership papers and warranty cards that shows I own the watch-- and speak with Tam and another employee who I am assuming is the acting manager. They were both apologetic, however that's where it ends. Tam tells me there is no way to tell when the damage happened and they (I am paraphrasing) have no liability. She is not wrong, but this is not helpful. The manager looks at my watch and says "That's not even real leather!" Um, what? Yes, it is real leather, but the embossing on top is not. This was insulting to my character and to my critical thinking. What was she implying? That a watch with a real leather band wouldn't have gotten damaged in acetone? It was very condecending. Tam also said the tech may not have understood my question about the watch because she does not speak English. Tam suggested that we take pictures of the damage of the watch and send them to the owner of the salon and see how he would like to handle this matter. I agreed to this plan and left. In the meantime I called the Versace store in the Galleria in Houston only to find out that any replacement bands have to be ordered directly from Switzerland and the delivery time can be as long as four months. There is no way around this. At all. I waited three days for the owner to call me and nothing happened. I called the salon and asked Tam if he intended on doing so, and she said no "he doesn't really do that." I thought that's what we were taking the pictures for? He wouldn't even discuss the matter with me. So not only do I have a luxury watch that is damaged, I have been completely dismissed by the staff and the owner. In good faith I must report that he offered to give me a free set of dip nails, but I am so insulted by the way I was treated that I will pass on his generous offer and go to a different salon. I certainly will be more careful in the future to be more mindful with my jewelry. I admit that I do have some responsibility here, but being marginalized is bad business and the owner was wrong for that. My gut feeling is that it may be an industry-wide problem that salons such as these are often targeted by people who are looking to rip them off, and therefore they are skeptical of customers making claims like I did. This is understandable. At the same time, I am a combat veteran, hold a bachelors degree and while there is usually no need to announce these things , I am not used to being brushed off. Do they think I am fabricating this for gain or do they mostly believe me and just don't care? Again, this situation is unfortunate. Live and learn. read more

I almost never go anywhere else for my nails except for Westfield, for the fear of it turning out bad, but I'm glad I got to experience going somewhere different for once. Their service here was absolutely amazing, they were very helpful and very sweet. The lady who did my set was very careful and precise with my nails. I do recommend this place to anyone who wants to get their nails. However if you're the type of person who worries about every single detail like me, I would rethink the design and not get gems on them or things on top for they may fall off. Since just a day after, I've lost some flowers already, but they still look very good and I am very happy with my nails. read more

Went back to My Envy Nail Salon today. What a difference from my 1st visit. Unprofessional. Am I the only one that has things like this happen to them? I asked for the same person that did my nails the 1 st time. There must have been a note next to my name.l in the computer. The two "unprofessional staff members" at the reception desk ,were looking at each other ,the female whispered to the male you tell her". I'm standing there! I asked is she here? He walks in the room behind the wall, I can't see what or who he is speaking to. He ask me to sit down she will be with me in a minute. It's not the person I asked for , she is there ( pink , purple shoulder length hair) you'll know who she is, look for the girl acting like a mean girl , the bitch. She was right behind our row talking to two other workers , speaking a different language .They are being very rude. I don't know what was written about me. It could not have been my tipping , I round up my 20% . My fingers & nails are a challenge, I was hurt , upset . Almost walked out, I needed to get my nails done so I stayed. im not usually one to get my nails done. so when i do, I really try to look for the best places; and baby this is THE place. you would think a simple coat of one color would be easy, but i've had people mess that up before. so, i did a bit of research (googled best rated nail shops lol) and found this place. angie did my nails today and i honestly love how they turned out. she is really sweet and actually engages in conversation with you. she also pays pretty close attention to detail! i know she redid a design on my other hand three times because she wanted it to be perfect (and it is). price wise, i can't necessarily say it's expensive because i've been to places that charge way more for the same thing, but i won't say it's cheap either (i paid $75 and was fine with that since i don't get my nails done often). to be honest, that could just be because of the area i live in or just the location of this shop (it IS in cinco ranch and some things there are usually always crazy expensive for some people, so do with that information as you please). overall, i would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone who wants good quality nails.
