I have to admit, I did not actually come here for sports equipment, but to return some U-Haul supplies that I had left over from an out-of-state move. It was late, I was in a hurry, and it turned out that the location I had purchased them from had done something very wrong when selling me the supplies. Elsi was a champ; she took down my information and promised me she would contact me after the weekend to issue the refund. I had to trust her; I had a flight to catch. She called Monday morning and settled the issue, even though it required escalation and follow-up with her superiors. It is very rare for me to see such integrity and dedication today, much less from someone who had virtually nothing to gain from doing it. Even though I didn't purchase any merchandise from their fully-stocked, exquisitely organised store, I can vouch for the character and ethic of the staff. I fully recommend that you check out the store; I believe that they will pleasantly surprise you with their products, and I promise that their customer service will be everything you could hope for. There are also fishing, sports, golf, and other sections that I rarely visit and therefore can't rate based on those. It may not be the biggest Dick's around, but it's ours and we love it.

They didn't have my exact shoe size for the shoe I wanted in stock so she ordered it online and it will be here on Monday. While this is online with their procedure, I can't express how grateful I was for such an awesome customer service experience. Typically, shoe places will try to upsell you and get what they can out of you, but I never felt that way at Fleet. They scan your feet and watch your walking pattern and then show you stats about your feet: size, arch, width, pressure points, etc. which was interesting and helpful. Shoes range from $140 - $200+ with brands such as Nike, Hoka, Brooks, Saucony. Not a HUGE selection of shoes but still several. Shoe inserts were about $50 (and are good for 2 shoe "cycles") and they give you socks to try on which you can buy (a hefty $18 for one pair) but don't have to. Overall a great experience.
