Unreliable and unprofessional. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Booked a move out clean 3 weeks in advance after several emails back and forth to confirm what would be completed, time of arrival, and cost. Reservation for 2 cleaners for 3 hours. 3 days before the service was scheduled to occur I received a call rescheduling the cleaning from a morning arrival to an afternoon arrival. Inconvenience sure but not a deal breaker. As a local, small business owner I understand things happen outside our control sometimes, especially in times of a pandemic. Day of cleaning, 6 hours before service is to start, I receive a call stating 1 cleaner has an emergency and they will be sending only 1 cleaner not 2 and they will get the clean done in 6 hours or less now. Day of cleaning 4 hours before service is to start I receive call for cancellation of service. No cleaner will be coming and they can reschedule for 2 days later. Again the service I booked was a move out clean. 2 days later is after the keys will be returned to the rental company. Not only did they cancel but they have my money on bank hold for a service they didn't complete! Horrible experience. Breach of contract. Cannot understand how a business can function this way. read more

I paid over 200 dollars for this service to do a deep cleaning of my parents home before my mother was to go for major surgery. The cleaners not only showed up late, but also cleaned 4 out of the 6 requested rooms and then left. The deep cleaning package claims that the fridge and oven where to be cleaned, which where not. This service is unprofessional and a scam. I would recommend looking elsewhere read more

So after speaking with the owner who was rude...off putting and def does not care about their customers...they kept my money. They basically stole 70.00 from me and refused to give it back! Initially the service seemed good over the phone, however the assessment process was inaccurate and I ended up spending more money than initially quoted. The ladies were pleasant, however I requested a deep moving clean and upon my return my floors looked like they hadn't been swept or mopped. There was also noticeable debris still on my carpets. My kids bathroom sinks were also not done, and one room in the basement wasn't swept at all. I called them back, the lady apologized and returned to finish the cleaning. Once she finished it looked good. She blamed the poor cleaning job on her other coworker being new to the job. I wouldn't use them again! read more

1/19/2019 - UPDATING REVIEW My previous review still stands and well over a month and several emails with the owner promising a refund, I see that my credit card account was credited $35 on 1/6/19 of the $228.44 that I initially paid for service that was a disaster!! 12/10/2018 I would NEVER refer or use them again. I was moving between states and hired Marvelous Maids to do a "Move In" cleaning. I had no furniture in the home and was replacing the refrigerator and stove and asked them not to clean these, no point. They spent only an hour and half in my home. On the surface it looked ok but I started to unpack my kitchen and found they didn't clean inside the cabinets, outside were dirty. I requested the carpet to be cleaned ahead of time and was told they couldn't do my stairs as they didn't have the equipment, they didn't offer a discount or to come back free of charge. My stair rails and banister, doors throughout the house, trim, windows and the microwave were all noticeably dirty. I've had numerous cleaning companies come to my house over the last 4 months since we bought the house in June and I fired all them due to their lack of cleaning or just doing a lazy job. With Marvelous Maids I have found this is not the case. 2 young men..not old women.. showed up Saturday morning right on time with their positive and energetic and also very polite attitude and spent 4 hours cleaning my house. I finally found a bi weekly cleaning company!!! The price is also decent. $126 for a cleaning for my house seems reasonable to me. I supply the cleaning supplies. Also getting ahold of this company unlike the other 20 companies I called and left messages for that were never returned...getting ahold of Marvelous Maids was so simple. I called and someone answered at 11pm at night and answered all my questions and concerns. Then the owner messaged me on Yelp to make sure all my questions were answered! Great customer service! Hired marvelous mAids to clean our house. Specified we needed windows and certain areas cleaned including vacuuming the couch. Informed the guy who arrived to clean that the guest bathroom didn't need much attention because we had just remodeled it and everything was pretty clean. He started started cleaning in the guest bathroom and spent over an hour. After 4 hours or so of cleaning one end of the house he informed me that he ran out of time. He said I could extend the cleaning for an hour for more money. He then informed me he was mistaken and couldn't stay longer because he had another appointment. He very quickly wiped down the kitchen but did not touch the Windows, laundry room, or family room whatsoever. We sent complaints and our concerns to the company. They responded and said we would get a discount and have him return the following morning at 8am. At 7am the guy texted us saying he needs to change his arrival time to 9 am which puts him at our house even later to finish. This didn't work because we had prior obligations. This is just getting ridiculous. How is it ok to pay a company $200 to clean half your house. How does someone who works at a cleaning company not know how to prioritize their time when cleaning. I did not get a chance to use this company because the cleaners never showed up for the deep cleaning. I'm not sure if this is a reflection of a company of or the two employees who are eventually terminated. It back man at very bad predicament because I was expecting guests for the holiday they did refund my money quickly but that's me in a bad situation. 2 ladies arrived, on time, but 1 lady left early. Neither appeared to care about doig a good job, only glazing over all areas. Owner was very busy with other moving task, yet had to point-out numerour areas that were totally missed. No quality or pride shown in their work. Cob webs left in numerous areas. Dirt left on the floor in plain sight, plus the final mopping was performed with dirty water. The cleaning crew appeared to be interested in leaving than they did doing a decent job. My landlord is backcharging me because the home was not properly cleaned. I would never use or recommend this cleaning company. The renters spent hours trying to get the home cleaner than this crew left it, yet ran out of time. The stove and kitchen cabinets were not even touched, and other areas were not even dusted off.
