Torres Window Cleaning has been cleaning the windows in my office for quite a few years (inside and out). They always do a great job of cleaning the windows and sills, as well as applying outdoor insect repellent on the outside. This week, I asked them to come out to my house and wash the walls, window trim, and cabinetry in my kitchen. They came out today, worked quickly, and did an excellent job. While the window cleaning is very good, I have some serious concerns. First, they were 2 hours late which completely made our day difficult. Also, they kept blowing dirt and debris into the house. All along my carpet, counter, bathtub, and floor, is a field of dirt and debris that I have to clean up now. I was not offered a discount for the late appointment. I will be finding a new window cleaning service. The work is solid, but the execution is poor. read more

I scheduled a window cleaning with Torres recently. The communication leading up to the appointment was prompt and they answered all my questions, but unfortunately the day of the service they did not call and did not show up. I sent an email after waiting close to an hour with no word from them, then left a message after it had been an hour. I finally got a call, a bit after leaving the message, from the technician-no apology or explanation was given for why they hadn't come as scheduled or contacted me earlier- just asking if we wanted to reschedule. When I asked what options were open to reschedule they said the office would call on Monday. Several days later and still no contact to reschedule. In the meantime we got a referral to a different company , who was able to show up several days earlier than initially scheduled, provided prompt and professional communication throughout the process and did an efficient and thorough job cleaning so at least out of the poor experience with Torres we gained a reliable company to go to for future cleanings. Would not recommend using Torres. read more

The Torres Window cleaning team just left our home. Again. They started helping us several years ago at our one story ranch in Orchard Valley. As a concession they have expanded their territory to help us with the windows and screens at our three level townhome in Harvest Hill St Charles. The personal high quality service has remained the same and they also repair screens - quite often on the spot! Yolanda and Jose's pricing allows us to have our windows cleaned twice a year when needed. We have two very high window with electric blinds. I recently moved into an end unit townhome with beautiful, large windows. After having it repainted and new flooring installed, I soon realized the windows were not going to be a breeze to clean, from the dust of the paint and all the construction in the townhome. Additionally, the exterior windows on the upper level would require a very tall ladder to reach. Torres Windows came out today and cleaned 12 large windows, interior and exterior, as well as the door wall, in about an hour. Incredible service, incredible prices. The three window guys were all professional, polite, and very protective of my new flooring and freshly painted walls. They were also able to take my well worn screens in for repair and will return in a few days to install those. We have used the Torres Team several times starting at our home in Orchard Valley. Great job on a one story ranch. Now we are in St Charles and have some two story high windows in the entry living area. They have continued there excellent service here as well. They removed some old tinting and cleaned the mess. Worth every penny! Wondered how well this team would do since I didn't see any recent reviews here at Yelp central. But, since they offered me a coupon right off the bat, and could meet my timeframe, I gave it a go. And boy howdy was I glad. The 2 cleaners were fast, thorough, and awesome. There were some windows in my parents' house that hadn't been washed since 1877, or so it seemed. The Torres team applied their mad skills and made everything noticeably 139.7% better. They just left, but I actually could not wait to get to my computer to write this review so that I wouldn't forget. They deserve total mad props. Or angry theatrical devices. read more

They are the worst! First they arrived 2 hours later than the scheduled appt. They did a decent job on the windows but Didn't put anything back after they were done and dragged large chunks of dirt through the house. Then they said they misquoted the job and wanted more money. I cannot overstate what a wonderful job Torres Windows Cleaning did cleaning my house. I had green moss growing on the shady side of my house as well as all over my landscape stones. I had everything, including my composite deck, power washed. My deck looks beautiful! The husband/wife team spent the whole morning meticulously cleaning every nook and cranny of the house, even removing bird nests! I cannot praise their work enough. I called to have my gutters cleaned and my windows washed. They canceled one appointment but were early for the rescheduled appointment. They quoted me one price over the phone for the windows and when they showed up they gave me a price that was more than double what I was quoted. They also said that doors were not included an would be extra. I am going to have them clean the gutters but will be looking for someone else to clean my windows. read more

UPDATE - TORRES did send me a partial refund and offered to discuss some sort of complimentary/discounted service in the future. Original review: 2.5 hours late with NO PHONE CALL. Moved all my decor and furniture pieces to wash interior windows but then didn't return them to their original spots so I had to move everything after they finally left. Also left gate to fence wide open and my dog ran out (they knew about dog and knew gate needed to stay closed). Major inconvenience and they only gave me a lousy $20 off a $440 window/gutter service. I have been a loyal customer for a few years now and when I called to complain the woman listened and apologized but that was it. Instead she complained to ME about HER employees. Great service! I had a Groupon for $60 for 20 windows. Scheduling an appointment was very easy. I had a 9.30am Saturday appointment and the van showed up at 8am which is ok as we were already up and running. All of the windows looked amazing after they were done cleaning them - it was a two person team and they were very professional and pleasant to deal with. The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars was that our front door screen door (with two glass panels) had lots of hand prints - it would have been a nice touch if they cleaned that too since they already did the little window next to the front door although I can see it being a door why they didn't - no worries. I just wanted to say what a terrific job this company did on my windows! I started out w/a Group on for 20 windows in and out. I have lived in this house for 10 years and have not had my windows professionally cleaned - ever. I ended having all the storms/screens and sills cleaned - I had 40 storm windows! Poor guy was on his own this day, but worked quickly and proficiently! I know he did not expect the extra work, but did a great, great job! I would recommend these guys to all my friends! read more

We just has a house power wash with window cleaning from Torres Window Cleaning. Wow! They arrived on time, very professional and courteous. We were a little concerned with the steady rain, but they kept going, never cut corners and I have never seen my house so clean.
