To be honest, I wasn't crazy about what I got the first time that I visited my Mexico, but I tried it again and have loved everything else that I've gotten. I'll chalk it up to just ordering the wrong thing. Their tacos are amazing, their quesadillas are delicious (note that they serve both Mexican quesadillas & more Americanized quesadillas, I've only had the Mexican ones), and their homemade salsas are incredible! I normally get tacos and occasionally elote from here but today I really wanted a burrito and I was right around the corner. I typically love this place but yikes what a disappointment this was. The burrito was $13. $10 plus a convenience fee and tax. It's listed as ground beef, rice, beans, cheese, pico, and sour cream. I asked for no beans, extra sour cream. There are no beans so I guess that part was correct, but there's also no sour cream and no cheese. There is, however, an absurd amount of peas. Even more absurd considering there's barely a spoonful of meat in each half. I think because of the lack of meat and small amount of pico there's really no flavor. I've had the same issue with lack of seasoning in the flautas - light on filling and I feel like generally their food is lacking salt but there are worse things to deal with. I will say the tacos have always been very good. A few times I've gotten the wrong items which was disappointing, and their fish tacos are grilled which is a key point to know when you're in the mood for a fried fish taco, but overall this part of the menu tends to slap. In general I wish things were more consistent and better seasoned but I'll keep going back and taking my chances. read more

Excited to try My Mexico again after my fist take out meal. I had the shrimp tacos and they were really good, definitely order these! I also had the veggie tostadas and the guacamole and chips. Tostadas in general don't travel well, and these really suffered from it. Plus I am not a huge fan of vegetables in replace of meat in Mexican dishes, I would rather just have more beans and avocado than zucchini and carrots. Talk about delish! Decided to venture out and order from a different Mexican restaurant while in Jersey City and I came across this restaurant. Decided to order my favorite which is fajitas and some tacos. To my delight the food was really good and filling. Of course, only thing I suggest is a little more protein with the fajitas. The tacos were really good enough protein and veggies and extra lime on the side and a lot of green and red sauce on the side as well. Let's not forget the guacamole, it's definitely real guacamole not fake. The quesadilla was really big too! You can taste the Oaxaca cheese, very authentic. My Mexico is "My Go To" roughly once a week. Either I forgot to take something out for dinner, or I'm just not feeling like cooking, or I got home too late. My partner and I regularly order what we like to call "a mess of tacos." The prices are about right to order around the menu for a variety of tacos. They are made with corn tortilla and the meats are portioned appropriately. I've never been disappointed by any of the flavor but sometimes the carnitas or the chorizo can be dry. Their guac is fresh, sometimes lacking in salt, but that's not necessarily a bad thing depending on your tastes. The burritos here are always packed full and requiring two hands at all times. I also really like the quesadillas here. Excellent filling and cheese ratios, and they always come with salsa and sour cream. Service is always friendly here, but I've only ever ordered to go. The interior is clean, small and efficient, brightly lit. Since I live nearby, I can't speak to how effective their delivery is. But, my food is usually ready within 15-20 minutes no matter when I order, so if you're looking for a quick bite, My Mexico is good at that! read more

I've ordered delivery many times from this Mexican restaurant through Uber Eats and DoorDash and the food is always delicious and fresh. My go-to items are the vegetables burrito (filled with squash & carrots, yellow rice, black beans, cheese, pico de gallo, guacamole, sour cream) and the chicken quesadillas. Absolutely AMAZING food from here. I ordered the chorizo taco, al pastor taco, bistec taco, and the carnitas torta to split between myself and my partner. Our food arrived quickly, hot, and SO flavorful. I was actually on a work call when it arrived and it smelled so good that my partner started digging in without me. First, let's talk about pricing. Everything was hella cheap. $3 tacos, $9 torta. In and out for around $20 + tip. That's a great deal! Especially when you factor in how big the portions were. The torta was enormous and the tacos were all double wrapped, which is always our preference. Second, let's talk taste. We went for a variety of meats and food so that we could get a good feeling for what to order or not order from them. Everybody has something on their menu that you just won't order, right? Well, so far we haven't found it. Their meats were tender and packed with so much flavor. Of course, the tacos were double wrapped, which makes it even better. Finally, the service is great. We ordered around 3:53 in the afternoon and got it to our door (a good 2 miles away) by about 4:30-4:40. The estimate we had on Grubhub actually listed it coming at 5, so it got here much earlier. Considering that we're a good 10-12 minute drive from them, everything got here relatively quickly and still hot (but not soggy).
