I got me the lamb and beef burrito and when I say that shit was huge it was HUGE lol they packed it with so much meat I could barely eat it . Def worth the price even if you think it's on the pricey side and they also gave me 3 sour creams to go with it. I could barely hold the burrito and eat it all. Tried the chicken torta this time. $16 is a pretty tall ask, but then I realized it's because the thing is my size of my friggin forearm. Huge portion, and flavor was fine, but I feel like it could be better with something sour or tangy. I think the onions were pickled, but not well enough. Or instead of avocado, you could do a lime guac. Also I had to use my own knife to cut it into manageable sections (to-go order). Pretty crazy that they just serve the whole thing to you, but maybe they cut it if you dine inside. Pina colada slushie was great, but not worth dropping 6 bucks, that's insane. read more

Awful experience 80% of the time. Food is a hit or miss and often cold. Service is absolutely terrible. Should honestly just be togo food place because there is no service, even if you do dine in you get a to-go box and plastic utensils. The face and attitude of the people behind the register is brutal, sour and, very obvious they hate their job. I end up leaving feeling worse than I did when I walked in. This is solely based off delivery, I didn't realize I haven't update and this is a place a frequently order from all hours of the day and night. I usually get the birria toastadas & the large container of birria tacos consume which comes with tortillas, onions, cilantro, and lime (so I can make my own tacos another day!) We came here becuase they were open late and everything else was closed. Bottomline, this place is a gem. Even though it was around 113:0 pm the customer service was great and the food was delicious! We ordered the fish tacos and the steak sandwich and everything tasted fresh and had so much flavor! We enjoyed our meals so much we went back for a second time during our trip. My heart is broken. This is my favorite takeout place, sometimes embarrassingly so to the point where I'd eat it 3x week when life was particularly stressful. I don't know if there's a new chef, owner, or change in supplier, but the lengua looked different and upon taking a bite I found it was FILLED with bones. I tried the suadero to and this was also the case. I understand a bone or two in a fish but this was not edible, sadly. THEY WERE BOTH DISGUSTING. the meat to the birria tacos is NOT just beef it's also lamb, it also is bland and has a funny taste to it and the tacos are not hard shell they are soft. This is a small take out spot with outdoor sitting. Great service and food came out rarely quick. I order the piña colada and the strawberry slush which both were sweet and very yummy. For starters we had the Trole elote (10/10), one beef 7/10 , one chicken empanada 6/10 and a Octopus tostada 10/10. For main we had the Birria lamb tacos with the consomé 9/10. I almost didn't make it here because of the food pics- we gotta do better yelpers because missing out on the flavors at this restaurant would've been a major L. It wasn't pan fried like the original birria (which is what I really look forward to in a birria taco) but portion size, flavors, consome & side condiments really made up for it. We got the Chicken Burrito, a sideTostones, Picadillo Nacho Fries, Skirt Steak Quesadillas Gringas. They nacho fries were loaded with toppings and really good. Even the fries by themselves were tasty. The tostones tasted a little old but were fine. My chicken burrito was HUGE. I didn't love the chicken itself but all together it was pretty good. My boyfriends quesadilla was also tasty. For the price the portions are great. I'd order from here again.They were pretty busy when we went and people seemed to be waiting for a while. The meat in my birria burrito was super dry and the burrito completely fell apart in my hands. It also had guac and lettuce which was soggy and gross from the warm meat on top. You can see in my pic I didn't even eat half I threw most of it away. We got the jalapeño and cheese tamales but they used that gross pre sliced American cheese. Like when you get those lunchables with ham & cheese and crackers. That kind of cheese. The fries were cold when we got them, overall we were just rly disappointed with what we ordered. BUT this place is open super late so i appreciate that. If nothing else is open try this place out - but don't get the birria burrito or the jalapeño & cheese tamale. You have been warned. Great addition to the bergen -lafayette hood. Open 24/7 sounded crazy to me but they did confirm their "always open" hours. That will come in convenient when all the clubs and bars are opened with optimum safety. There is no dining area whatsoever so it's all take out or delivery. Although, they do have plans for storefront table service during warmer weather. I had to wait a bit for them to put my order together so it gave me a minute to admire the mural on the wall outside that they finished months before they opened. The customer service was great. Allison was helpful and informative. She gave me a break down of the menu along with some recommendations. Everything was delicious. My chorizo breakfast burrito was prepared nicely. Holy cow this place is good! My co-worjers and I ordered lunch via UberEat. It came at a reasonable time. I hot the grilled chicken with pepper and onions platter, which comes with two sides. I chose salad and black beans. My goodness I was impressed. I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture. Bit let me tell you, the grilled chicken was nicely seasoned. The salad was also impressive. I was expecting iceberg lettuces with some shredded carrots. But no. I got a real salad with radishes, cucumbers, diced tomatoes and onion. The black beans was also a really good portion. The "stuffed avocado" (octopus) definitely did not look like anything I was mentally picturing when I ordered - came more like a chunky looking soup. BUT, yes there was a half avocado in there under tender tasty pieces of octopus and a whole lot of sauce that I can only think to describe as ceviche-like. Overall great- will come back for more. One of the few places open 24 hours in Jersey City it is the perfect place to come to grab a bite after a long day, in this case after a fun weekend shopping spree. We went with the chicken and lamb birria tacos. Man oh man the flavors were off the charts!! The hot sauce pairs amazingly well. The lamb birria tacos came with a consume to dip in which was super flavorful. All in all, had a great time. So glad there's a 24/7 taqueria in the area! Really convenient after coming in late from traveling. My chicken empanada was stuffed and super tasty. The salsa verde is very flavorful (not so spicy tho). I also got the lamb barbacoa flautas - so tasty I forgot to even snap a pic! Four good sized flautas with rice and beans. lovely hidden gem. the artwork outside should be enough to draw you in alone. there are no tables inside, this spot is soley for delivery and take out. there are benches outside. make sure to ask which tacos are sold singly, the menu says they come in multiples, but there are some that are sold by themselves for about $4 to $5. the 2 types of salsas (hot sauces) are the chefs kiss. i loved the red - it packs the heat, but the green was damn good too. i grabbed a chicken empanada which was loaded with flavor, and it was stuffed to the max. i got the potatoe and jalepeno taco - i wouldnt get this again because the corn taco shell was not grilled or warm. i wish it was. the dropped the ball on that one. but the papas were delicious and it felt like a breakfast taco or breakfast potatoe taco. looking to come back especially since they have such unique style tacos with authentic protein. read more

Today however, I decided to try the tacos and they were great! I got the fish tacos and chicken tacos and I loved them both. Not going to say these are the best tacos I have ever had, BUT definitely tops other tacos in the area. Aside from tacos, they had a pretty extensive menu which i was surprised to see. The place itself is not huge, there's no indoor seating. They do have tables outside, perfect space to hang out with friends in the summer. No alcoholic beverages are allowed though!
