Potato & jalapeño tostadas - spicy and delicious vegetarian option!
Leah C.

We've ordered from La Brujeria several times and it continues to be our go-to for Mexican. The menu is extensive and varied, all of the tacos we've tried have been great, good burritos, nachos, quesadillas, and tamales. We're big fans of the cochinita pibil pork. I wanted to try something different last time and ordered the potato & jalapeño tostadas and they were incredible! Cheesy, flavorful, spicy, balanced with creamy avocado, crispy tortillas, just the perfect meal and a great meat-free option.

First time visiting after realizing it was in my neighborhood. The food was fresh and delicious, we ordered the chilaquiles, chicken enchiladas as guacamole. I will def be back.

Probably some of the best Mexican food I've had in the East coast. So happy we finally tried this place. 24hrs so you can get your fix anytime. Only thing missing here is al pastor tacos. Small place -can't really eat inside. But that's fine. Also the wait may be long but it's worth it. Been thinking about the burrito since and it's only been 2 days. We will definitely be back.

My heart is broken. This is my favorite takeout place, sometimes embarrassingly so to the point where I'd eat it 3x week when life was particularly stressful. I don't know if there's a new chef, owner, or change in supplier, but the lengua looked different and upon taking a bite I found it was FILLED with bones. I tried the suadero to and this was also the case. I understand a bone or two in a fish but this was not edible, sadly. I really hope this is a one off because disappointed is putting it lightly if this continues. :(

Gave this place a second chance. Despite the long wait time, the food was good. I ordered two Dominican burgers and flautas. The portions were filling. The agua de Melon was great. It is a bit pricey but they are not stingy with the amount of food you get so it's worth it.

Awesome awesome find! My first trying this place out while visiting the area. They open 24h and they accept orders online so there's people pulling up back to back picking up food. This is a small take out spot with outdoor sitting. Great service and food came out rarely quick. I order the piña colada and the strawberry slush which both were sweet and very yummy. For starters we had the Trole elote (10/10), one beef 7/10 , one chicken empanada 6/10 and a Octopus tostada 10/10. For main we had the Birria lamb tacos with the consomé 9/10. Barbacoa lam flautas 8/10. Overall I loved everything and I would be back if I'm ever in the area.

Really though, what's not to love? I'm just mad it took me this long to find out about it. Even the location is ideal for cars to pull up and pull out since they don't have a parking. - Nice staff, patiently answered questions about the menu - Plent of menu options that can fit different dietary restrictions (gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian, vegan, etc.) - No dine in, take out - Good prices, you can fill up here and walk away satisfied Open 24/7 too? Take my money

I must say the reviews here show this place no justice. I almost didn't make it here because of the food pics- we gotta do better yelpers because missing out on the flavors at this restaurant would've been a major L. There was a bit of wait time & that's my only complaint- but it's a 24hr tacoria so I wasn't complaining. I ordered the lamb birria tacos & the meat was so juicy and well seasoned. It wasn't pan fried like the original birria (which is what I really look forward to in a birria taco) but portion size, flavors, consome & side condiments really made up for it. I practically scarfed the tacos down & completed my meal with a bottle of water. The chicken empanadas were also flavor packed & paired really well with their spicy Mayo. This place is definitely a come back- no hesitation albeit midday or late night cravings.

Stopped by here for a quick lunch with my sister before heading back to work. It was Taco Tuesday…read moreso we had to celebrate accordingly and El Ranchero is the perfect spot because they throw in an extra taco on Tuesdays as part of their deal! The service was great. Our server was very on top of her stuff, making sure we had everything we needed and we were enjoying the food. She even let us practice our Spanish with her when ordering! My sister ordered the chicken tinga tacos and I ordered the beef birria. Both taco orders came with 5 tacos (because of the deal, it is typically 4), onions, cilantro, lime, and radish. Don't sleep on the radish, it my favorite part to add a nice crunch! Both meats were very flavorful and tender. They also gave us green and hot salsa on the side (green was my fave) and the birria tacos came with some delicious consommé for dipping. We also ordered guac and chips as an appetizer which was very fresh, and our favorite jarritos flavors to drink. It's decorated very nicely inside - no frills, a few tables and chairs inside for dining in and even a bar-style area with stools for those dining by themselves. They also offer takeout of course, but I honestly enjoyed sitting down because everything was very quick and they took great care of us. We walked, but there is only street parking so keep that in mind when traveling here.

El Rancho Taqueria fits the bill. Placed an order for takeout and trekked 10 mins (in timbs lol) to pickup the food and eat it in the comforts of home. This fit my nearly 6 year craving to the T. The melted queso and heat of the verde sauce was perfect. The rice and beans were plentiful, but not too much. Enchiladas were cooked well. Couldn't ask for more - I found my spot! For under $12, can't ask for more.

We put our names down around 7:30, grabbed a few margaritas from the bar inside and waited outside on the sidewalk for about an hour and a half. A couple tips to make your wait bearable! -If you are staying close by, grab some margaritas at the bar and hang out. -If your wait time is expected to be over an hour, I promise it won't be less than that so you might as well walk around or grab drinks elsewhere and come back. After we finally got in, we were seated in the enclosed back patio space (it's still cold out, but this is usually a lovely spot for dinner during the warmer months). Get the guac! We got a medley of a bunch of different tacos but my favorite was the fish and the lengua. Loved everything and have declared every time that I leave that those are the best tacos in the area. Worth the wait (to an extent) but just go on a weeknight if ya can!

Looking for a quick dinner, I decided to come here on a whim. Because it was raining pretty decently, I opted to eat inside. There's a small size dining area in the back, though the ordering area and hallway leading there is a bit narrow. Anyhow, for those who are new, the concept is similar to Chipotle, except that they create everything for you behind the scenes. I basically opted for the burrito bowl except with the vegan chorizo (Tacorizo). Before adding the sauces, the Tacorizo had a good amount of heat to it. I simply added the two mildest sauces and it was just enough. Bowl tasted great and it was obviously very filling. Good spot for a quick bite.

That being said, the habanero sweet orange sauce and the elite corn they have from the sides menu... Best things I ate there! I don't even know what that orange mayo like sauce was on that corn but it made me sad knowing I only had two cute baby corns to eat, I just wanted to keep getting kernels in my teeth for that cob. And the habanero sauce, was downright slurpable. I didn't bother drizzling when you can just take a shot of it after every bite of either taco, burrito, whatever you get. Had to separate this paragraph for the tacos I got. I got 4 tacos. A pollo pastor, a shredded chicken, regular pollo, and regular carne asada. Now pollo and carne asada, nothing too special. Standard but with the way they sauce it and present it, I can say solid taco. The pollo pastor...as someone who can't eat pork, this was a blast to eat. They use mini chunk pineapple and put a good amount of condiments to balance it all out. Chicken not dry and super flavorful. Also enjoy the single tortilla over double. Less carbs. Now that shredded chicken. While not dry, I don't know where that bite was taking me. I just wasn't feeling it and I can't pinpoint why. I don't know if it's the extra stuff on top of it, or the fact that the corn was my fave but the side sauces didn't help. I'd def come back for the other 3 but not that shredded one. That limonada was sooooo good and refreshing! I thought I'd get horchata when I had the chance but because that limonada was hitting right, didn't even bother. And the fact it's like unlimited refills if you get a drink, totally worth it! Overall, I appreciate the patience of the manager and cashier. They were really nice and helpful. The interior was sick too. Repurpose lockers for chairs. Baseball stadium chairs. Definitely tight but just right. I was struggling finding spots for Mexican food, I have a pretty high standard for it, but I'll give this a solid/perfection score lol
