They will just not be open sometimes, like today, a sunny Sunday. So we decided today we are just ordering dog food online from now on. This has happened too many times to us now. We need reliability, and we don't have it here, sadly.

The building doesn't do much in the way of building your confidence, and the inside is pretty gloomy, but Rebecca who groomed our dog was absolutely wonderful. She was attentive to listening to how we wanted her groomed, and acknowledged her age and mentioned how they would look out for her and give her breaks etc. when I picked her up, she looked perfect! Exactly what we wanted, and even better than our regular groomer. I will be switching to bringing Sadie here from now on to have Rebecca groom her. She looked great, and our dog didn't seem overly stressed out and she was super happy. I would highly recommend bringing your dog here, and definitely recommend Rebecca. She is awesome!

After finishing with the other customer, the employee said they would come back to help us, but they never did. We waited around 20 minutes by the fish tanks without anyone coming to help us. To make matters worse, the employee spent most of the time on their phone instead of helping customers. It was very unprofessional and showed a complete lack of customer service. Poor communication, no follow-through, and a total waste of our time. Horrible service.

I decided ok no more cuts here I will just take care of that elsewhere but thought I would continue to take them for baths. After dropping them off I got a call an hour later saying they were done. That should have been my first red flag. They smelled as if they had not been bathed at all and my golden who I paid extra to have undercoat removed clearly had not been furmirated. I decided to order from a local store, Wild Birds Unlimited (yes, I know it's a franchise, but they're locally owned and operated), rather than Amazon. WBU was a little more expensive but #shoplocal, right? I opted for delivery, thinking they would use UPS or something. Instead, a day after I placed the order, the store owners personally dropped a ton of seed at my door AND a gift - this cute seed squirrel and holder. I've only purchased from WBU one other time a couple of months ago and my interaction with them was equally as pleasant, with them helping carry bags of seed to my car. Anyway, the moral of the story is: support your local businesses and maybe you, too, will get a free squirrel that looks like it's holding peanut tits.

Period. Don't listen to the negative reviews. We have had negative experiences with most of the other fish stores in the area, including the more commercial ones. After a number of years of doing this, we are pretty discerning customers when it comes to fish and plant health. We highly recommend this store. Look past the exterior and Mr. Bill's gruff demeanor at first. He knows his stuff for sure. Take the time. It is worth it.
