The person who does the ordering needs to be fired. Shelves are constantly empty.

The person who does the ordering needs to be fired, plain and simple. Stopped in this past weekend AND several days prior to find empty shelves both times. Generally, only 1 out of 5 visits have stocked shelves. This is not a supply chain issue, it is an ordering (or lack thereof) issue. This person is causing the store to lose money. I wasn't about to try my luck again in a few days, so I went ahead and spent my $60 at Chewy. Too bad I couldn't give that money to PetSmart, but I can't buy something that's not there.

My cat eating with her lion cut

I brought my domestic long haired cat In for a lion hair cut. Patty did a wonderful job in cutting her hair. They were very flexible about the time in which I picked up my cat. Great customer service and the price for a lion cut was fairly priced ($72). I would highly recommend for cats.

    Scraped balls

I took my gorgeous dog for a thorough haircut and bath and left him there thinking he would be in good hands, but when I returned to PetSmart, Kayla V was shaving my dog's hair, and I discovered how harsh she had started to be to him and how mean she had been. I noticed her harshly tugging his hair under his jaw while cutting his hair, and she had no idea I was observing. She would do this by constantly pulling his cheek or jaw hair up or down while cutting his hair. I left disappointed, and when I arrived home, I decided to check on him. I found his balls bruised and bleeding. The other groomers were also pulling on the dog's face and lip hair. I've watched many films of groomers shaving dog hair, and none of them remove the hair off the dog. What a letdown in customer service! It's hardly worth paying $130 for this service if all I saw was animal cruelty. I would not recommend taking your dog to this or any other PetSmart! As well, if you dislike your job, look for anything else to do so that you avoid hurting the well-being of animals due to a lack of professionalism. I'm expecting a full refund and hope my dog doesn't acquire an infection from having his balls scraped.

Franklin before his much needed haircut

My little bichon-poodle loves getting his hair cut at PetSmart! It was little Franklins time to get another hair cut, he has had all of his hair cuts here (and at the other Frederick location) he loves it but is also a pretty calm dog and good in these situations. I make sure to brush him well before we go so he has no tangles but if he does have some I understand the policy is to shave him so I am never surprised if he is a little shorter than I requested. Franklins appointment was at 5:30 and there were no other dogs in there so he was done in just under 2 hours! If you are nervous I would recommend talking to the groomer a lot before so both of you have an understanding of the appointment and what you want for your pup!

They sold me dead earthworms when I asked for live ones. Now my pet will be hungry another day.

He did settle in with us nicely. However, the more comfortable he felt the more he became a resource guarder, nipping at people who came over to the house. We had tried a couple of in-home trainers and found that we are great dog parents. However, we are not good dog trainers. So, with a couple of recommendations from family and friends we made the investment in Sit Means Sit. Dakota was lucky to get Cole as his trainer. We enrolled Dakota in the 8-day program, and hoped that this would work, to help him feel more comfortable and stop the nipping. We started to see improvement right away. Having Dakota labeled an aggressive dog was a horrible feeling, but we knew we had to get training to help Dakota. Cole worked with Dakota, and they became good friends right away. Dakota was always very excited to go to Sit Means Sit. He enjoyed training with Cole, and he learned very quickly. Dakota graduated Doggy college at Sit Means Sit, just the other day with honors. We can see how well behaved and settled he has become. We know we still must work and train with him all the time, but we are so pleased with Frederick Sit Means Sit, and Cole. Sit Means sit not only helped Dakota, but us to, to become better Dog parents. I can't say enough good things about the people at the Frederick Sit Means Sit. From the office staff to the trainers, it shows they love dogs and their jobs. These guys really know their stuff. Top notch people and clean facility. If you love your dog, its well worth the investment.

Pebbles (blue heeler, 1.5 years old) would never listen to me, would not sit or lay still, and had a lot of other obedience issues that caused her to be stressed or confused. She was a TOUGH dog to train and I was concerned I couldn't find the solution for her to get basic concepts. This view has completely changed since working with RSK9's 3 week program. I would HIGHLY recommend them and their methods - you can tell they genuinely love working with dogs and it's made a huge difference in giving my dog the chance to find real rest at home. They send DAILY updates with photos and videos which was so nice. This isn't a regular class or something you just pay for; it's truly an investment that you and your dog will be using for the time you get to share together. Side note: it's worth doing 3 weeks versus 2 weeks. At the 2 week mark is when Pebbles really started to understand her marks and cues. From here there is so much more that can be refined and Brandi/Perry really capitalize on that threshold being crossed!

Brandi & Perry were amazing! Highly recommend working with them…read more We adopted a one year old mixed breed, Tuck, a few months ago. He's very sweet but started to get rambunctious to the point that my remote work felt challenging. He also started jumping or freezing when he saw other dogs on walks, and he occasionally barked or growled and men. We weren't sure if it was the start of aggressive behavior or just the result of a shelter dog that hasn't been exposed. After doing our research, we decided to do the 3 week behavior modification board and train program. We were really impressed from beginning to end. They shared a ton of information upfront, walked us through their facility (we opted to drop him off) and sent pictures and updates every evening. It became clear right away that they both have a very deep understanding of dogs, as well as a real respect and love for them. Tuck loved them! The best part was the "transition" day when Perry brought Tuck back and spent the day teaching us everything they've worked on together. We are first time dog owners so generally going in pretty blind. Perry gave us a 101 on dogs and the importance of clear and consistent communication. He talked through all of the layers of training and how/why it is effective. We felt this part was SO helpful for us to understand how to be better owners. Then we walked Tuck around the neighborhood with Perry guiding us and then spent time addressing indoor behaviors too. He was flexible and stayed until we felt comfortable with everything. This is a long review so the TLDR: finding a trainer is a big decision and investment so we wanted to get it right. Brandi & Perry were really incredible and beyond our expectations!! Truly worth every penny! Tuck has been doing really great at home and outside since being home. I've been able to work full days with him holding "place" on his cot, which would have been unheard of before!
