Too expensive for what I had done, and I had to go back the next day and have another stylist fix my color. I paid $40 for a haircut of literally 4 snips on my hair. We discussed what I wanted prior, and none of it was done. Lisa, the second stylist, was wonderful and really tried hard to make sure I was happy with my color. By far the best salon I have ever been to. Right when you come in, they offer you a wide variety of drinks and are very welcoming. I have been seeing Joanna for 3 years and walk out happy every time. I have been here a few times, not really knowing where to go in NH. The first time I went in was for a cut. The hairdresser Melissa, who will now be my regular stylist, was wonderful. She listened to what I had to say, made suggestions and made me feel like she cared about how I wanted my hair cut. I have also purchased a few of their products and LOVE them! Especially the root lifter. It's wonderful! I also purchased the beachy hair one. I think it is a little bit too watered down. but it works well. On other trips to My Reis I have had my eyebrows and lip waxed on multiple occasions, and everything turned out just great! Their prices are average to other salons. The environment is wonderful, you feel like you should be paying a lot more. I have never had a problem with the customer service. I guess I'll have to keep an eye out on the deals they have though. Previously I have had great experiences here. I've had my nails done and eyebrows. Used to be a great experience. The last couple times I've gone to get my eyebrows waxed I have been co.pletely disappointed. I end up going home and fixing them myself. It doesn't help that the area where they do the waxing has no natural light. I'm especially disappointed because I have always recommended My Reis. I gave ULTA a try and they were more expensive but my brows came out perfect! I guess I'll be going there from now on. Which sucks because I love supporting local businesses! read more

Just got a haircut at My Reis I usually go there because they're good but one bad experience seriously changed it. I wanted my bangs trimmed and layers the girl got the bangs right but not the layers. She only did two strands of front hair and called it a day so my whole head is just pin straight without any movement and layers which I wanted around the whole head duh. She burnt my head to shit, imagine god dipped your head into hell. Yeah it was that bad she left the blow dryer in the same spot on full blast hot magma and I pulled away from her at one point. The apt only lasted 30 mins which usually it takes at least 45-60. So after she but my head on roast I had to pay and I was looking in the mirror like this isn't it. I showed her a picture too so I thought she'd get the concept that I wanted but she got like 50%. Also l recommended I should get Balayage for my hair because it's dark, which is fine but I'm jot there for a dye job if I was I would already be getting one. Anyways I left with watery eyes and payed for my 52$ haircut that wasn't exactly what I wanted. I cried in the car and called back saying that this wasn't what I wanted the nice lady up front said that the girl could fix it and I did not want her at all to fix it cause she honestly isn't it. So I got another apt for a more experienced stylist but it's seriously annoying when you pay 60$ including tip and I look like a fish cut my hair. I won't be coming back and go to another salon down the street. Wild salon is good and doesn't burn your head. read more

I have had good luck with manicures except that they did use a nail polish bottle that was practically all used up and polish was too thick and peeled in couple of days. But more than that I had a pedicure for first time since moving back from Florida and since they have 3 choices, I chose the middle priced $44 which was more like the lesser one. The tech was great with polishing, but when I said I had opted for the $44 pedicure and was waiting for exfoliation, she told me that exfoliation didn't come with the $44 pedicure. Really? That was a first for me. I would have had to go with the $58 pedicure to receive exfoliation. Disappointing and just didn't make sense to me. So will not be returning. read more

I recently moved to the area and needed a hair cut desperately. Let me preface this by saying that I am SO picky about my hair, like ridiculously, over the top picky... Anyways, I got an appointment within two days to see Austin. I feel slightly funny bringing in pictures, but had found a Reese Witherspoon cut I really liked and thought I'd show her. I have to honestly say that my hair turned out exactly like the picture. Gorgeous long layers and side swept bang that make me melt. I lived in Boston for several years and went to salons all over Newbury Street, never really finding anyone who stood out. I booked a relatively last-minute appointment today for a dramatic change to my hair. I was immediately impressed with the ease of the online booking! There were several appointments available for many different services, too. When I walked in, the receptionist was extremely kind and welcoming. The salon was clean, well-lit, and inviting. Stefan, my stylist, greeted me right away and brought me over to the chair. He spent some time talking with me about my options and what would best suit my face and lifestyle (I wanted to go really short, but had hesitations since I have a round face, and I teach, so I don't have a ton of time in the mornings to get ready). Stefan listened and gave me some suggestions, and we decided upon the best option for me. Stefan was friendly and made nice conversation, but didn't talk so much that I had to worry about his attention. He did an absolutely beautiful job on my hair, and I am thrilled with it. I'm so lucky to have found My Reis Salon! My hair stylist at the salon is Brooke. She always leaves me feeling pampered and she keeps my hair healthy and beautiful. On the rare times Brooke isn't there my back ups are Chris and Amanda. They give amazing blow outs. If you are looking for a stylist this is the place. For a blow out...we are talking the best deal ever. $25 and they use Oribe products! Oribe is the best hair care line ever. And I've tried them all. Oribe works like nothing else and makes my hair smell gorgeous. I get compliments on how my hair smells! I love it here! So much I convinced my very apprehensive sister to get a healthy trim here. Corynne was great with her! Patient, insightful and a friend for her. Gave my sister three haircuts until she was comfortable and excited about a seriously shorter cut, and no more dead ends. Corynne's focus and understanding made my sister confident, she was thrilled. I have been coming here about 3 years now and have been bringing my daughter here as well. We both see Amanda, who is incredible beyond belief! She is fantastic with my hair, but my 7 year old daughter absolutely loves her! Amanda will always go above and beyond by putting a little braid in her hair, blowing her hair straight, etc. They are always taking classes, when I go on Amanda always had a new technique that she has learned and will try it out on me. She also will always suggest things for my hair, rather than just doing the "usual" every time. I am pretty picky and have been to many high end salons throughout my life, including some very high end salons in NYC, and My Reis is absolutely comparable with those places!
