Store has a sign that says no refunds so I'm happy to exchange for a different kind. I ask the worker if he's able to exchange, he says yes, but only for the same brand and type and per him, "they've all been arriving like this so not sure if that'll help." I clarify he knows the product was broken and he sold it anyway, and he's says, "yeah, I'm losing money if I don't sell it." I told him that's a shitty business practice to sell broken product to make up his loss off the customer and refuse exchange for a working product or refund. He was adamant he couldn't do anything else, couldn't even take accountability for poor business practices. Will never shop here again and know if you do- owner is ACTIVELY screwing over his customer base.
