Came to my house to fix a valve with sprinkler system, technician did not have part on hand, never returned

Amy was very polite on the phone and was very accommodating to my water leak I had on my manifold. Two guys came out and repaired the broken tee on the manifold and it was repaired professionally. Later that day I cycled every zone and noticed some did not shut off. I immediately called them back and Amy had the crew back out at my house to find the root cause. Mel (one of the servicemen) was very knowledgeable and fixed my first concern regarding my leak on the manifold and came to fix the issue as to why my zones would not shut off as well. Mel was very easy to work with and made sure I was satisfied after the fixes were completed. Mel's partners he had for the two occasions where very pleasant as well. I just had two techs from My Sprinkler Guys, JS and TK out to check my sprinkler system. They were both knowledgeable and took their time checking each sprinkler head in every zone. They made adjustments as needed to deal with the dry areas of my yard. JS even gave me a tip on how to deal with the yellow patches left behind by my dog. Who knew spaghetti sauce or tomato paste in the dog's food once a week neutralizes the acid in the urine? I will ask for them in the future. I recommend you do too! read more

Horrible service, they said they fixed 6 pop ups and 3 other ones. I come home they not spraying out properly, my son was here when they came he was sick so couldn't go out and look, I come home and call them and she telling me they will charge me a service call I don't understand they didn't do they job right Never again will I use this company Water not coming out spraying my flowers smdh read more

Used to love this company. Did a couple of winterizations and also had them open my system this year and do some repairs. Called for winterization and they told me that my price would double because I was west of Rochester Road. We're less than a mile west. Asked for consideration due to this and the fact that I'm a repeat customer who has given them many referrals. Basically told too bad. Also the person on the phone couldn't even be bothered to pay attention to my call. She was talking to someone else in the office as well as me. I hate when companies get greedy. They had a great thing going with great pricing and lots of referrals. Now, instead of giving them business, I'll be making sure to tell everyone I know to look somewhere else. read more

Was scheduled to have my sprinklers winterized this past weekend. I waited at home all day, but no one ever showed up or called to say they weren't coming. Completely wasted my entire day. Don't bother even booking with them. Very unreliable. read more

They have horrible customer service. They never return phone calls. They act like you're doing them a favor for coming out to service your lawn. Don't ever use them! I won't ever use them again. read more

I used this company for years, had great customer service and techs. This spring, techs were horrible, just grabbed anyone off the street! Tried for a month to get an appointment, played phone tag, finally on vacation so I could talk to someone and no appointments available except for one. I can't take off work. Never again, I told them what I needed on voice mail, they could have responded better. I feel this company is going down hill. Poor customer service. Never have I ever been so disappointed in the customer service at a company in my life. Let me be clear first: the service techs know what they are doing and are very smart. I would recommend hiring the techs at a DIFFERENT company. There are several issues here. Issue 1: appointment was canceled by my husband 3 weeks prior to appointment, turns out the staff never canceled the appointment, we found that out when they called to confirm the appointment the day before. My husband called after hours to cancel appointment again & left a VM, then realized we should keep it so he called again with in 5 minutes and left another vm to keep the appointment for the following day. Appointment was made for 12:30. To ensure appointment was still on track and NOT canceled he called and confirmed the morning of the appointment because I was going home on my lunch to meet the techs. Issue 2: A little after 1pm with no call and no sign of the techs I called the company and they alerted them the techs had still not arrived. They called the techs and let me know the techs should be there soon, they arrived just before 1:30. Roughly an hour late. Issue 3: i called the company to complain about the situation and Amy, the manager(so she says), told me there is absolutely nothing she could do for me, that this is an "Estimated time". I told her that we were never told it was an estimated time and that and that IF THIS WAS AN estimated time, I would allow a 15 min leeway with out a call. But to not even receive a courtesy call is unacceptable. She proceeded to tell me hat by the end of the day some of the appointments are 2 hours late. I found it hard to believe someone would tolerate a company being 2 hours late for an "estimated" time frame with out a call. After all my efforts and explaining my problem to Amy, she gave me $40 off my NEXT service. I told her there is absolutely no way to guarantee there will be a next time with the way I'm being treated right now so this is doing absolutely nothing for me. Two guys from my sprinkler guys arrived near the scheduled appointment time. I called them out because I had an issue with one of my valves staying open at beginning of the season. The two guys were very knowledgeable and honest. I will continue to use My sprinkler guys for my sprinkler needs. Thank you guys! read more

Truly they don't even DESERVE this one star. Not only are they hard to reach, they are umprofessional, sit in their van outside your home wasting time, pretty certain the techs are not qualified to do their job. The office in unorganizd. I will sitenotnhaving my correct phone number after they have been out to service my home on at least 5 separate occasions. Techs showed up without parts to fix my problem. After two weeks, I had to call them, guys showed up and dug up my yard citing the problem was incorrectly diagnosed. They tore up my yard and didn't ask or inform me of what was requird this last time to fix the problem. Techs are rude. In addition, they are so over priced for the low quality of service that they have just cost themselves several clients business. With so much qualified competition out there, I doubt they will stay in business much longer. They get a -10 on price/value. And I plan to let everyone I know just that. read more

These guys are horrible. I've been using them for the last 7 years and still trying to get the same issues fixed!! Every year they send the same guy that puts in some half-a$$ bandaid. I still have the same issues. They should have just been straight forward with me from the beginning. After spending $600 a couple years ago to move a bunch of heads to relieve a few overloaded zones, now they are saying I need to create new zones at a cost of $900. They assured me the last time that moving heads would alleviate the need for new zones. 3 years later and tons of brown spots, I'll probably go ahead and add the new zone(s), but now with these clowns. read more

My Sprinkler Guys used to be great....when you could actually talk to someone. Now you have to leave a message (I have left 3 over the course of 3 weeks) and nobody has called me back. I went with another company who scheduled me and has already came out and performed the work......all before My Sprinkler Guys even retuned my first call. Terrible customer service. I can only imagine what happens if you have a problem and try to get a hold of this company. Would not recommend at all. read more

Horrible customer service service!!! Called multiple times in September and got no call back! Then called multiple times in October and finally got a call back at the end of October...got an appointment for today 11/11/17 and was told everything was frozen and the pop top was now broke and there would be another $100+ charge! Called and spoke to a lady at the office who told me this was my fault for not calling earlier! After I informed her that I called multiple times including in September she told me I should have called another company....WTF . I will use another company starting next spring read more

We moved to Macomb Township in 2013 and have used My Sprinkler Guys to winterize and turn our sprinklers on in the spring. Each time we have had to wait a minimum of four weeks to get the guys out here. I understand that they may have commercial accounts which generate more money and residential is not a priority for them. However, this past October they supposedly winterized our sprinklers and I found out yesterday that our water was still on and the job was not done. I'm glad our pipes didn't freeze up and will not be using their services again! read more
