Dr. Gregory Smull is absolutely phenomenal. He has a very nice bedside manner and is the best Sleep Doctor I have had since I had Dr. Wooten in Cincinnati, OH. He is very knowledgeable regarding Narcolepsy but didn't act like he knew everything, and he clearly has a good grip on the "One size doesn't fit all" when it comes to misunderstood diseases like Narcolepsy. It was worth the 45 minute drive to Derry NH to have my first appointment and he took the time to review all my records and didn't question me when I asked to be put on the medications that I know that work for me. If you have Narcolepsy or think you have a sleeping disorder I would highly recommend you scheduling an initial appointment with him. One last thing, I was most impressed with him because he agreed that I shouldn't need to do another MSLT test. The other doctor I have seen here absolutely would not consider helping me until I had the test and that test in particular is very difficult for me to do. Once you are diagnosed with Narcolepsy it doesn't just suddenly go away, he said. If anything it gets worse. So I am glad that he took the time to try to understand my individual needs and had compassion. His office staff is second to none. Very friendly. Long story short, my husband has severe sleep apnea that is causing his hematocrit to go high (Google it) sleep apnea is a big cause and this is extremely dangerous. It can cause stroke's, heart attacks or blood clots. So my husband reached out to this awful awful doctor and advised him of his symptoms and they spoke and Adrian said he wld get back to him about the sleep study and NEVER DID!!! And mind you we waited a month. So after not hearing back for a month my husband wrote a review stating the fact that it took a doctor a month to reach back out but only because they saw the review my husband wrote and they didn't like it. They had no intention on reaching out to help him in any way, only to talk about the review. So within days of the post of the review they reached out to my husband and scheduled an appointment with Dr. Adrian, so that brings us to Today 4/21/26. My husband just had a zoom call with him and I really have no word because this so called Doctor was so unprofessional he had no intention on talking about my husband's health, he wanted to talk about the review and wanted my husband to erase it. Wow, just wow!!! This Doctor does not care about your health at all. He's not interested in helping. They care about charging your insurance and collecting money and having 5 star reviews, instead of actually helping ppl that has severe sleep apnea. Stay away from this guy and all the offices he works at. There was a TV but no remote. The tech was very nice and helpful and hooked me up with no issues. I was shocked how uncomfortable the bed was - the mattress wasn't a typical hospital bed mattress - it was very thin and I woke up several times with my hips and shoulders hurting. The linens were soft. The bright fluorescent hallway light comes through the cracks in the door which was very irratating. It would not take much to make the rooms more comfortable. I'm not sure how you can study how a person sleeps when they can't sleep because they are uncomfortable. A friend went to a sleep lab in an actual hotel - she was in a hotel room and she said it was extremely comfortable. For that matter I would have rather been in an actual hospital than this room. I haven't received my results yet so I can't comment on that, and the staff person that cared for me seemed very good, but I will say if you need to have a sleep study there are places that are probably more comfortable. It was a truely miserable five hours (and the wires and hookups didn't bother me at all.)

And this equipment? It's a sensor that's supposed to stick to you as you sleep. It's got post-it note level adhesive so good luck with that. Doesn't seem like it would ever work. Do they care? Nah. "Your doctor will have results". The results? Inconclusive. Yeah, commons sense could tell you that. They're not an effective provider. Avoid them.

He not only knew more than anyone else I had seen, but he also could recognize what he didn't know, and he found out on his own and got back to me. I literally had five different diagnosis from five different doctors. My illness was confusing, and he was the only one to correctly predict what I was going to experience as time went on, and how to deal with (and cure) what I had despite the lack of tests to verifiably diagnose me. He noticed within moments what no other doctor had the insight to detect. 2. Bedside manner: fantastic. I was extremely comfortable. I felt taken care of and respected. He didn't ever oversimplify or dumb down his diagnosis. He was clear, honest, and helpful in describing what he saw honestly and completely and without unnecessary lingo. He made everything extremely easy on me (He partly filled out forms for me so I didn't have to figure it out and he mailed them to me at my apartment (name, type of care etc). It was incredible how caring and how important it was to me!) They really made a great effort to make you comfortable, and give you mental ease while you're sick. 3. Wait time: Above and beyond. I always came in in the morning if I had an appointment, but there were times when I was sick with a fever and just called in hoping to see someone sometime that day. They always got me in right away with maybe a 10 minute wait! It was fantastic. I can't speak highly enough about Dr. Goldstein! I am super hard to please and kinda critical in general, but that is especially true when I'm sick. Dr. Goldstein was fantastic. I never had to worry about anything from billing to accurate information to staff remembering my history, to paperwork, to general caring atmosphere, and most of all I had confidence finally that he knew his stuff, and I was going to get well after quite a lot of searching!! My highest recommendation goes to him!

I drive over an hour each way to see her and it's been so worth it. I originally went to see Marisa for extreme anxiety and ongoing sleep issues, after trying what felt like every modality out there: somatic exercises, journaling, therapy, BIT, meditation, breath-work...you name it. While many of those helped in their own ways, nothing truly moved the needle for me the way hypnoacupuncture with Marisa has. From my very first session, there was an obvious shift. Even the people around me noticed. After that first session, the tension in my shoulders decreased, and the only way I can describe it is that everything (physically & mentally) felt like it had been taken down a notch. Since working with her, my sleep has completely transformed. I went from having an extremely hard time falling asleep and waking up almost every hour, to now pretty much sleeping through the night. If I do wake up, I can fall back asleep easily, and I'm even dreaming a lot which I take as a sign I'm finally getting deep, restful sleep. I've seen such drastic improvements that I genuinely feel like I have a new baseline. I feel so much more in control of my anxiety now and honestly like a completely different person than I was just a few months ago. It's been truly life changing. I honestly wish I could see her weekly. The closest way I can describe how you feel leaving a session is like you just had a massage; you're so relaxed, grounded, and at ease. Marisa has truly touched my life. She is genuinely an angel. She listens, she cares deeply, and she is incredibly dedicated to her clients.
