This is hands down one of the worst CPA i have ever encountered. Long story short Jennifer had did my taxes, gave me incorrect information then filed my taxes incorrectly, all to end up getting me audited. Then while in the middle of the audit, ill assume because of the errors she made and the amount of work it took to correct, she disappeared and stops taking my calls allowing my audit to pass the window of appeal costing me upwards of $20k. Do your self a favor save your time and money. I wouldn't count on my tax angel to hold the door open for you let alone have the moral or ethical compass to be in this field of work. read more

Don't waste your time with this office. No one ever answers the phone, or returns your phone calls. They have an appointment system but come the day of your appointment, they don't even call you. I have worked with Jennifer for years with no issues but the last two years it has been a nightmare. I contacted them this year at the last minute which was my fault but we were still a week away, I asked if they could file for me if they had time and they said they could fit me in. Long and behold, that didn't happen. I was going to do them myself and I should have gone with my gut. I finally got a call that they filed an extension of which is not what I wanted. I am leaving for vacation and was hoping to have some extra money in my pocket but no return phone calls, my state is not filed and I am pissed! this business is horrible! do not do business with this company. i paid for my taxes to be done here in april and they never filed my taxes! i am waiting for a sizable tax return and they will not return my calls or emails. stay away! read more

Jennifer was great.... so efficient and so knowledgeable in what we need done for our taxes' She was able to detect errors from last year from what the last tax company did and is going to amend it I am so thankful to have stumbled upon her!!! Jennifer Culver, at my Tax Angel Is Dangerous to you as a client/customer. She has some "good" aged reviews BUT, few recently. The reason I say "dangerous" is because, at first she appears sharp, trustworthy, and responsive, but THEN, forget it. She does not return calls in a timely manner. ACTUALLY, she does NOT return calls after weeks of leaving countless messages on her message center and with her assistant. On the few occasions she picked up the phone, she's made promises, to reply within a few days AND THEN, weeks go by and nothing. I had my intake appointment on Sept. 17th 2022, and was told I'd hear back within a week or so after she reviewed my documents. THEN Nothing, CRICKETS... I have time-sensitive issues and her DISHONESTY and CARELESS approach to her clients has cost me Two and a half months (2.5 MONTHS) of time. Now, I have to rush, hire another tax consultant, and address my tax issues with limited time. This is ALL Because, My Tax Angel's Jennifer Culver, DOES NOT CARE ABOUT HER CLIENTS. I signed and submitted my paperwork for my taxes April 9, 2024. I never heard back from Jennifer or anyone from her organization after completing my paperwork. I called several times, left voicemails, and even attempted to make an appointment online and wasn't unable to. On 6/14/24 I get an email saying my taxes have just been electronically filed and accepted by the IRS. Meaning she took more than 2 months to submit my paperwork to the IRS. I am furious. This is completely unacceptable and unprosessional. I definitely won't be back next year and I caution anyone else not to use her services. read more

I wish i would of gotten the name of the lady who answered the phone she sounded older than the rest i can say.. i called this place because i had question in regards to getting taxes done i waited over two hours no one called me back every time i called them i had someone different all four times idk how many receptionist they need never got a call back everyone was always busy i find it hard to believe that they couldn't take 5min out of their time to answer some questions the receptionist was really rude and when i asked is there anyone there who has 5min to answer some question because it's 4pm you guys close at 5 and i don't as trying to get in there before you close she rudely said "no one is available I'm going to end the call now" and hangs up on me what a bitch she was extremely rude do not give them your Bussiness their customer service is trash!! read more

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. Do you like to deal with unprofessional people that keep lying to your face about your taxes and don't do anything to fix it? Then this is your place. I've lost count of how many times I've had to call jennifer or zilla to get an update on my tax return and all I ever get from either is "We'll email you in a couple of hours" or "I'll have jennifer work on that today". It's been over a month since I dropped off my paperwork and still they haven't done anything with it. Be careful with this place, it's a major scam and they will not give a shit about you as the customer. I will be reporting this place to the BBB. read more

Jennifer hasn't responded to my phone calls or emails in over a month. Called, left voicemails, and emails - still no response. I'm getting extremely worried and may have to file a complaint with the BBB. I've read some of the other reviews and found a few things are true; at times they're hard to get a hold of, that's a tough one for me so I can feel the frustration there also.. Let me share an experience that Jennifer and I are working through at the time of this writing. I have an emergency and it's really detailed, let's say it's a doozy... She has relentlessly been on my side and has made herself available to me should I need assistance in an on the minute case, with that kind of care and devotion to a client; I truly understand why we sometimes play phone tag.. I'm more than certain she's putting someone else's fire out.. Jennifer Culver, at my Tax Angel has prepared my taxes for the past ten years or so. At first I thought Jennifer was going an ok job; however for the last 11 months I've been trying to figure out what's going on with my tax return for 2021. Jennifer, told me that my tax return went to another department within the IRS and said that it looked like my return went towards child support. Mind you, this is the same Jennifer Culver who has been doing my taxes for the past ten years who you would think to know her client well enough to know that I do not in fact have children at all. I was shocked by this child support claim, I immediately took action and contacted the IRS to ask why my tax return had gone to that department. The IRS told me my tax return was not being held in that department. I've contacted the IRS numerous times to inquire about my tax return only to get the run around and to call other numbers and to get absolutely no resolution. During my time of frustration trying to figure out where my tax return is, Jennifer Culver has stopped replying to my e-mails and has not returned my phone calls that I've left with her office. Jennifer was very attentive with our needs for tax prep/filing. We were first time customers and we usually have our tax prepped somewhere else. Knowing now how she saw a lot of missed tax deductions from last years tax, she made sure to go through our paperwork thoroughly. She's very friendly and she lets you know lots of information regarding this matter, the costs were also budget friendly. Jennifer did my 2020 taxes. Was fine. She asked to review my 2019 to see if she could amend them. She charged me full price and then told me I'd be getting money back. Well I never did. Then she said she would refund me the amount she charged since she was wrong. Well she never did. I've called numerous times and never get any response back. Never use her again. Just wanted the refund she promised and didn't deliver and then evades me and never returns phone calls. read more

This was no angel, but rather a tax nightmare. Apparently she forgot to file my taxes this year, and then didn't even have the decency to admit her fault. She won't return my calls or emails, and is in possession of all of my personal and financial information. I've filed a complaint with BBB, only to see another complaint very similar to mine. Both my fiancee and I are so happy we found Jennifer. We dropped off our organized information to her ahead of time. We found a time that worked for all of us. We are very comfortable with her handling our taxes. In just under 2 hours, she managed to do both my and my fiance's paperwork for the year, review last year and prep us for next year.
