I did some searching and contacted a few companies for bids and chose Millers. It was easy to communicate what we were looking for, Trex decking options and prices were clearly presented and priced. We agreed to a date to start the work and Millers showed up as agreed. They worked efficiently and kept the job site clean and organized over the four days of construction, they arranged for all the permits and inspections, when Trex shipped the incorrect kit for our stairs they told us immediately and let us know when they would be back to finish that part and they arrived as promised. Craftsmanship was excellent. Communication was constant and accurate, and I would certainly use Millers again based on our high level of satisfaction with the entire process and the end results.

Whatman Custom Fencing & More came in and did a tear off of all the old and then started with the rebuild. Their workmanship was so poor it all had to be redone. This company says they are "fully insured" but refused to provide any insurance info, and ignored all phone calls and emails to pay for damages. Police even tried to get their insurance info but they lied to police and said they would pay for damages which they never did. Seriously doubt they even have insurance. The team at K&S is wonderful! They built out an amazing deck onto the house. The deck included two…read moredifferent staircases. They took the time to sand down all the railings and areas that would be frequently touched or rubbed against. They also pressure washed the entire deck when they finished!! Not only did they build the amazing deck but they also had it finished within a week! We also had ordered a new back door through them and wanted a doggie door added to it which they handled. The installation was quick and precise. Overall, I am extremely happy with the work the team at K&S has done for me and my family. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs work done. You can see in the photos how much our dog loves the deck as well! We also have them scheduled to install new baseboards in our house since they did amazing with all the other work!
