I had a 4D ultra sound at "Womb with a View" on January 27, 2013 in Durham, NC. My appointment was scheduled for 1:30, but we were not seen until around 2:30. We were told that all appointments that day had run over the scheduled time. We did not have a problem with this because the owner, Willodean, assured us she would make sure to take her time during the appointment. With the 3D/4D womb peek, we were told that we would receive 4-6 colored images. I did not get them during the appointment but Willodean promised me she would mail them on the following Monday. Two weeks passed and I never received my pictures. I emailed her and asked about it. She did not respond. A couple of days later I emailed her again. This time she responded and said she had mailed the photos out that morning. She didn't mention my initial email or the fact that she had promised to mail the images two weeks before. A week passed after she told me she had mailed my images and I still had not received them. I emailed her once again to ask about the pictures. This time she claimed that it was not her fault that I had not received the images. She claimed it was Post Office's fault. I wonder if I mailed her a check for her services, and it got "lost" in the mail, would that be the Post Office's fault too!? I replied to her email and told her that I had a baby shower in two days and I really wanted to take the images with me. I told that after all this inconvenience, she should be willing to mail the images to me over night. After all, by now it was obvious that she never mailed the images. What I got in response was a very rude and insulting email. I could not believe what I read. I forwarded the email to all 9 family members who attended the session. The next day she contacted my mother in law in Durham and asked her to meet her somewhere so she could pass along the images, the ones she had already mailed... twice. My mother in law informed her that everyone in our family had seen the email and strongly suggested Willodean contact me to apologize. Willodean called me that evening to apologize for the email, but she kept making excuses for why she had been so rude. She promised to mail the images... again, but I did not receive them for another full week. I don't think this is the way someone should run their business. For me, this was supposed to be a very important experience shared with my family. It turned into something not so great. When you are in your third trimester, you just don't need all that stress. read more

Thank you to My Womb with a View for turning our pregnancy journey into one we will remember and forever be grateful for. Our pregnancy journey has been very rocky and scary. Willodean, the owner, was very reassuring and comforting during a very scary time. We were experiencing a few problems and when our DR. was unable to fit us in immediately, we began searching for alternatives to help reassure that our baby was ok. We came across My Womb with a View and I gave them a call. Willodean was able to answer all of our questions and was very encouraging. She did emphasis the fact that they are not a diagnostic facility and that all questions should be referred back to the DR. Agreeing, we were able to seen just a few hours later. We were greeted upon entering their facility, filled out some paperwork, and immediately got started. During our ultrasound, Willodean was so gentle and sensitive to our situation and made us feel very comfortable. We were very happy to know that everything was ok with our baby. Our experience was one that we are forever grateful for. We were able to know that our baby was ok and capture some amazing images of him. My wife and I play our DVD probably once a day. We are just so grateful that this service exists and we were so lucky enough to meet Willodean. I would also like to mention that this is a family owned and operated business. The owner, Willodean, is a 25 year old mother, wife, and young female entrepreneur. We were so impressed by this and want to personally thank her for this experience. We will be returning for another visit later in our pregnancy! I would highly recommend their services to anyone who is looking for ultrasounds during their pregnancy! read more

One word...Wow! My Womb with a View is the place to go. I was not expecting to experience what I experienced here. I called a few weeks in advance and Willowdean was able to schedule me in on the exact date and time I requested. Our phone conversation was very informative. She told me tips and tricks on how to get the best results from my ultrasound. She gave me her cell phone number and requested I call or text her anytime...which I did! Our appointment was on a Saturday so when we arrived Willowdean was performing another ultrasound but made sure to greet us as soon as she could to let us know she would be with us as soon as she was done. We only waited 10 to 15 minutes, which was ok with us! Our actual ultrasound was fantastic. We got amazing images of our little girl and we couldn't be happier with our pictures. The best part was how personable Willowdean was and how comfortable we felt around her. We truly had an overall fantastic experience and would highly recommend the services here! One recommendation would be that if you are looking for a quick trip, plan during the week. Weekends are pretty popular for ultrasounds at any facility so it is common to see that things run behind. We didn't mind the wait, but just a heads up there may be one. read more

My fiancé, family & I really enjoyed our ultrasound with My Womb With A View. We had to make a couple trips out there because of our baby boy being positioned behind my placenta. This caused us to not be able see his face. A couple times when we could see his face, he would have a foot or hand in the way. The facility is very clean and well maintained. There is a very comfy chair for the moms to get the ultrasound in & a nice flat screen to watch the ultrasound on. Our only problem was that it was an hour drive for us! Willodean is a very friendly and a patient person. Our last ultrasound she even spent an hour trying to get our little man to move around so we could see him. Willodean gave me her personal cell phone number if it was after hours if I had any questions. I never had any problems getting in touch with her if needed. If I have another child, I will come back to this facility to try to get a 4D image of the baby. Wow! If only my doctor's office were so comfortable, convenient and relaxing! I was so thrilled to be able to be seen the same day I called. I had been feeling anxiety about Baby's well-being, and just wanted a little reassurance. The owner was so reassuring! And of course, it was great to see Baby, hanging out, relaxed, and in the right position! LOL. I am truly grateful that such a service exists in our community, and the owner offered such a great combination of warmth and professionalism. I will be recommending this to my friends, but hopefully, I won't need to go again -- this is our fourth baby! It is mind-boggling that another reviewer described the owner as rude. She is absolutely charming and sweet. And she was so comforting at a scary time. I am pretty sure this lady doesn't know how to be rude. read more

We decided to try out My Womb with a View for our 2nd child since the same service at our doctor's office cost way more (not covered by insurance) and did not offer the videos and additional still shots that this place offered. Willodean was very professional and did her best to get us a good view of our baby but he was not being cooperative that day. We came back a week or so later and she spent more time working with us to get the best possible images of our baby. She didn't have to take the additional time to get us the photos she did, but she is a master of that magic wand! Great place for a nice, quiet, comfortable experience. Our two year old daughter loved the big couches and seeing her little brother on the huge flat screen TV (beats the heck out of that little TV on the ultrasound machine!). read more

I scheduled a 3D4D ultrasound with My Womb with a View a few weeks ago. They were able to schedule my ultrasound the same day at my convenience, 8:30pm! They were located inside a beautiful building located in Chapel Hill and their office suite was so comfortable and inviting. I was so impressed with our experience that I would highly recommend them! Not only were we impressed with the services that we received and our pictures that we absolutely love, we could not believe the owner and operator was only 24 years old. She was so enthusiastic and energetic about her job and she made us feel so important. Numerous hugs were exchanged after our visit! I really enjoyed my sneak peek ultrasound session at My Womb with a View. The office space has a great atmosphere, comfy seating and is decorated nicely. Plus, there is a large, flatscreen HDTV to view the pictures and ultrasound. Willowdean was wonderful, friendly and took her time getting the best results. Welcoming and very friendly! My husband and I had an ultrasound done here and could not be happier with our experience and pictures. The owner/technician was very patient with our not so cooperative baby girl. She was very patient and kind and helped us try to move our baby into the right position to get the most perfect pictures. Got a 4D ultrasound. It was awesome. The technician/owner was extremely nice. She spent a ton of time making sure we got all the shots we wanted of our baby. And their prices were extremely reasonable. Her most expensive package was less than our co-pay for our ultrasound at the hospital (and we got all of 2 pics at the hospital). Here, we got a cd, dvd.... just a great all around experience. I would highly recommend My Womb with a View. read more

I really enjoyed both of my visits with Willodean. When baby was uncooperative and didn't want to get his picture taken, we were offered another visit without charge to try again. I wouldn't ever have expected that from a boutique ultrasound business. I was very pleased and highly recommend this place. I also really liked Willodean's patience and very friendly personality!
